being incomplete makes you a little catatonic, sometimes
characters: Roxas and open to passerbys.
setting: Room 1-16.
format: Either or~
summary: A lot of the time, Roxas took naps. Other times, he slept for days on end.
warnings: If you successfully wake him up, you might win an elbow to the face!
Roxas was always a bit of a dozy guy. Sure, he had his passionate, active side, but if he was left to idle too long...he'd probably fall asleep. It was something his friends had teased him about relentlessly, and he had just sort of accepted it as one of his quirks.
But, sleeping for a week? That was a bit ridiculous. His room mates probably would have noticed first that he hadn't gotten out of bed, but it wasn't like he was ill or anything. Just slumbering.
Maybe too much.

I am sorry for the tl;dr //and then was sorry again for the edit
In the end though, she couldn't stay away, not completely. He was her friend - the memories, her own memories, would always be there to remind her of that. Even if they didn't speak, even if he didn't really see her... she had to know he was okay.
She'd finally found him just the other day since their door was open, asleep. A second visit yesterday had showed him still asleep. And again earlier today... By that point, she'd started to get a bit of a picture what might be going on. It'd happened before, after all.
After a moment's thought, she'd run back to her room, grabbed something from her trunk, and come back. Looking left and right nervously for its other occupants, she walked over to his bed, that same something in hand. It'd been a while since she'd last had to do this...
Once she got close enough, she opened her hand, dropping the seashell next to his pillow. It was one of the ones he'd given her - a blue spiral shell - since the Tower didn't have a beach of its own, and she hadn't realized she could get some from the aquarium yet.
"I tried cooking lunch for myself today in the kitchen. Just a sandwich," she laughed a little at the thought of her earlier attempt, "It didn't turn out that bad. After that I went and sat on floor 20... it's probably the closest thing we have here to the clock tower."
She paused, looking down and sighing, "I sorry..." You probably don't remember what I'm talking about. I don't even know why I'm doing this. But... "I hope you wake up soon."
it's okay, i'm late anyway sob
But, in the end, he slipped back in to slumber, mouth quirked a little more pleasantly. In the back of his mind, he just felt...something familiar, and that was enough.
He'd probably wake up soon.
|D It's okay
"Roxas?" she asked quietly, feeling hopeful but unsure. Was he waking up? And if he was, should she stay or leave...?
okay muse is finally actually B A C K
Still, he had a feeling someone was in the room...even if his gut seemed confused about it. Was it Nams? Roxas peeled his eyes back open once the dizzy spell passed, and turned to finally spot the black-haired girl at the door. That prompted a more successful sitting up, even if he had to lean his back against the pillow for support.
"Uh, hello." ...who the heck was she?
Yaaaaaay! :D
... Except it was a little late for that now.
"Hey," she said, automatically, though inside her her thoughts are racing. There was a sinking feeling in her gut. She didn't see any recognition in his face, and his greeting had been almost... surprised. Naminé was right, wasn't she?
"You..." She started, then stopped, taking a deep breath. She could do this. "You don't know who I am, do you?"

"You're not looking for Ven, right?" That happened more often than not. "But, no. I don't...think so." He already knew he was forgetting stuff, so assuming she wasn't mistaking him for his friendship freak of a facetwin, this was another notch in that belt.

He didn't know her. He didn't remember. Some part of her knew there was probably a perfectly rational reason for this. Maybe he was from the past, back when he was a Somebody. Or maybe it was that thing she'd wondered about when she couldn't stop herself...
But none of it stopped this whole situation from hurting. She could remember for both of them, she knew. They could find some sort of connection again, if the fact that she remembered him so much didn't freak him out or anything. And she probably wasn't helping with her reactions right now. She hadn't expected him to wake up. She hadn't realized just how much she was not ready to handle this.
"I'm sorry... I should go." She turned to leave.

Naminé had told him he was forgetting things, and people.
That guy who had been looking for him so much- he had a cloak on.
One just like this girl's.
"I'm supposed to know you, aren't I? But I don't." He meant to speak up, but it came out soft and a bit ashamed. "Are you with that other guy? Axel." He looked down for a sec, before realizing how that could be taken, and looked at her again, with his palms up. "Not that he's here now- he was. Briefly, but. You..." He dropped his arms. "You both asked if I knew you. And you're wearing the same thing."
Luckily, for the moment, Roxas decided to ignore that the cloaks were sort of associated with 'people trying to kidnap me'.

She didn't - couldn't - look at him, as he spoke. She was already fighting the urge to just keep running. As he keeps speaking, the urge dies down, very slightly, though she doesn't feel any less tense. Naminé had already told her that Axel had come and gone, though she noted that Roxas doesn't seem to remember him either or the Organization, or anything, though whether that makes her feel better or worse, she's not sure.
She still couldn't face him, though she did turn her head so she could see him out of the corner of her eye. Her gaze quickly redirected itself to the floor, and she gave a tiny nod.

"I'm sorry I don't remember. I really am."
Months back, Nams had offered to help him remember. He'd been scared and had backed out. Now, however...he had to. She wasn't even facing him, this wasn't about his comfort anymore.
"I'm going to try. Please be patient with me, okay?"
Late party all up in here too orz Also tiny sort-of retconish thing
"It's okay," she bit her lip, smiling weakly, "It's... It was supposed to happen. I... I don't know why you don't remember everything else, but..." You were supposed to forget me.
It's just a lot harder for her to deal with than she'd expected. She remembered what Naminé had said, about them hopefully being able to still have the bonds they'd shared, or rebuild them, maybe. This was probably the place to start, painful as it was....
