[Sayaka, that is not a good way of identifying yourself. As much as one can tell from a single syllable, she sounds about as unhappy as you'd expect from being bustled in here.]

[Not a very distinct greeting, but England recognises her anyways. Or he's fairly sure he does.] Sayaka?
beknightedheroine: (well i was gonna punch you but)

--Hey, you got me in one. [Now that's actually pretty surprising. She'd never pegged her own voice as all THAT distinctive, but..] Unless that was a lucky guess, which case I'd say save your luck a lil' better.

I suppose it comes with being a tad musical. I'd like to think it has to do with skill, not luck.

[Following that, he's quiet for a moment. His next statement is somewhat subdued.] I never got the chance to say thank you for your aid in the labyrinth.

[...The Labyrinth. She doesn't like thinking about that time much - mentally present as she hadn't been for most of it. England gets a slightly nervous laugh in response.] was the least I could do. I heard later there were people actually trying to break in to help everyone, y'know? [Whether it worked or not, that would've been better than wandering around in a depressed stupor as she did.]

[He doesn't like thinking about it much either, but he made it out alive, which wouldn't have happened if it weren't for all the people that had stuck out their necks to sponsor him. It wouldn't be right to let it go without giving his thanks.]

You suffered consequences on my behalf. Just the same, it's the least I can do to show my gratitude.

[...though:] I wasn't aware that there had been a break-in attempt. I'm going to go ahead and assume that they weren't successful, however. [Otherwise people wouldn't have still been killing each other...]

Heh, okay.

[She'll accept that.]

..But they got somewhere. That's really what matters, right?

[They did get somewhere. But was it a step forward as far as leaving the Tower was concerned, or did their punishment equate to a step back?]

...they did manage an admirable feat, yes. I'm not sure I would have thought it possible.

[Granted, it was probably even less plausible to leave the Labyrinth from the inside than it was to get in from the outside.]
