Forward dated to 14th!
Characters: Minato and anyone (victims or people taking him down)!
Setting: Floor 4, 17, 18, 22 or random corridors.
Format: Starting in brackets, will match
Summary: Lelouch gave him an absolute order. On that day, the Geass kicks in for Minato. He now intends on fulfilling them, no matter what.
Warnings: Eventually deaths and violence.
[His day start as normal.
Before he left his room, he made sure his evoker’s in his sheath and his sword is nearby. Idly, he checked the date before he went outside.
July 14th.
When his mind registered the date, the absolute order activated.
'Forget that this conversation ever happened, and dispose of all personnel of this tower that you deem harmful to the well-beings of others as well as my plans.
You will perform this command within the Fourteenth Day of July.'.
That’s the order he was given. There’s some initial resistance against the order, due to how Minato interprets the words. To dispose means removing people from action. In other words, it could very well means killing them. But no matter what, the Geass which gives an absolute order is absolute.
With his eyes glowed faintly red, Minato picked his sword and exit the dorm room.
FLOOR 4 – GLASS
The floor’s walls were entirely in glass. Here, he can see if other people were on this floor. It would be time consuming to walk over to them. The glass can’t be chipped or shattered.
But it can be stained red with blood.
FLOOR 17 – BLOODY HANDPRINTS & SCREAMS
This floor seemed to have nothing special, if you ignore the bloody handprints on the floor, walls and ceiling. And the odd screaming here and there.
Here, Minato is simply walking with his sword drawn out. To anyone else, he’s just simply being cautious against monsters. Not ready to kill. His resistance against the Geass was already overpowered.
FLOOR 18 – STUDY ROOM
He’s here after getting a book from the library on Floor 19, using this floor to sit down and read. However, he would occasionally look up to see if anyone’s nearby. After a while, he’d get up and pick up a reference book lying around for people to read.
Minato’s sword was still at the table, but his evoker will never leave his side.
FLOOR 22 – ART GALLERY
The art gallery was one of the more interesting floors. It brought up his morbid curiosity at the various paintings, no matter how horrible they were. Paintings of familiar places, like the buildings or places around Iwatodai, but utterly ruined. People he knows lying down dead or worse. He can see the familiar state of Apathy Syndrome for some of them.]

(OOC:
THE VICTIMS
Floor 4
[Tara walks up the steps, on her way to the pool from the cafeteria. But, when she reaches the floor all of glass, she...pauses, she hesitates, she lingers, just as she's found herself doing every day on this walk. It's partly hesitation, because she doesn't really like her job at the pool. But, it's also because of the view. There's no window in this place where the view isn't somehow blocked by clouds, no way to see the world below.
But that doesn't stop her from trying.
Her back is to Minato but, when she finally rallies herself to turn away and continue her hike up, she'll see him on his perch surveyind the room.]
Floor 4
[He notice her and watch Tara, quietly. Tara is one of the nicer people in this tower, and she even help him against the hellhounds back then.
But that's back then.
Minato gives her a friendly wave with his free hand. His evoker's currently sheathed, for now.]
Re: Floor 4
Re: Floor 4
All things considered, he's pretty much himself and normal.]
Re: Floor 4
[This is Tara's greeting to Minato as she draws near to him, accompanied by a nervous smile as she obviously tries not to look down. One hand is braced against the wall, steadying her.] I mean...I'm okay, on the floor, but up here...I always get so dizzy. I'm always afraid I'll, um, fall off.
Re: Floor 4
[Simple as that. He want his focus on what matters. Minato gaze at Tara with an odd look.]
How have you been, Tara-san?
Re: Floor 4
[She seems to be having some difficulty actually looking at Minato, and she looks way more unsteady on the stairs than anyone who hasn't drunk a bit of alcohol has a right to be, but there's no outward sign of injury. In fact, she looks quite happy, coming off the party.] I, I guess I'm just a bit tired, after last night. I can't remember the last time I was around so many people, and the music, and the food...
[Humming happily as she apparently slips back into a happy memory of the night, for a second or two.]
Re: Floor 4
[He smiles, watching her carefully and at her body language. He noticed that she's not looking at him, yet rather happy.]
I'm glad. The party's good for us to relax from all the dangerous things.
Re: Floor 4
[Tara's smile slips for a second. How many party guests had gotten hurt on their way back up? How many had known to run through the floor that seemed to be empty but wasn't?]
I, I guess the only down side is that you never want to sleep, after a party like that.
[That explained her...oddness, didn't it? Didn't it? Tara was aware that she wasn't quite firing on all cylinders today, but she was damned if she knew why. Sleep deprivation, however, was an old, old friend. It seemed as good an explanation as any.]
Re: Floor 4
But you still need to sleep. Relaxing is fine, but if you don't rest enough, you won't be in a good condition.
[Which means it's easier to make mistakes, or miss something, and get hurt for it. As someone whose social schedule was often full, he knows what it's like to be tired.]
Re: Floor 4
But, as far as Tara knows, they can't really be written off to anything else, either.]
Oh, um, I-I used to be in college. I'm used to going without sleep. Exams, and papers, a-and monsters...all that stuff.
Re: Floor 4
It piqued his curiosity.]
You have monsters in your world?
Re: Floor 4
S-Sometimes I think they do, though, and just don't do anything. I mean, as long as you're in after dark, vampires can't really do a lot to you.
THE FALL

...
Well. If this blue-haired individual was wreaking havoc, there must have been something wrong with him. Were there no adults in his life to guide him through to the proper path? That was just sad. Of course, there was still the whole anger-issues thing on Maya's mind, but in the back of her mind, she also wanted to see if he wasn't beyond redemption. Hopefully he wasn't. Of course he wasn't. Let's Positive Thinking after all, right?]
...
[Maya had prepared herself by bringing Personas that would be handy in this situation. Now all she had to do was follow the ice-trails throughout the Tower.]

After being under the Geass's influence for so long, Minato's original mindset is deeply buried under the absolute order. So yes, there's something wrong with him.
Minato is somewhere in this art gallery, so take your time and prepare yourself. Will you after him alone, or wait for others?]
for Ryoji first!
He didn't know if he would even be able to fight Minato; not if he wanted to- he didn't but he had no choice. But the creatures that lived within Minato were powerful, he had fought the other Minato before, and Jin, and he knew he wasn't strong enough to fight him... To kill him...
But he didn't want to get anyone else involved, Lelouch had caused this and so Suzaku was the one who had to deal with it, it would be unfair to make others do this.
He continued searching, his face set in purpose.

In the end, though, he could come to no other conclusion than that he needed to stop Minato somehow. While it was true that deaths were by no means permanent in this tower, it still undoubtedly caused suffering to those who were killed, and the last thing Ryoji wanted was to see others suffer because of himself or a friend of his. So of course the only course of action left was to find Minato and stop him somehow.
And that was when he very nearly ran into Suzaku, as he hurried up one of the many stair cases.
"Ah, sorry -- Suzaku-san?" He was considerably less bouncy and vibrant than at their first meeting, and Ryoji did not smile in greeting.

/tagging from phone; I'm going to be super slow with this thread until our internet is working again
If Suzaku had, then that would probably be all the answer he needed. And if not, well... Ryoji didn't mind explaining his worry.
No worries!
"He's not himself," he told Ryoji with a dark look on his face, "He is being controlled."
Minato was a kind and thoughtful person, Suzaku would not let people believe him a murderer.
/o\ some day I won't take forever.
NP!
And Ryoji wasn't going to like it. Neither did Suzaku but it was his burden. Ryoji shouldn't have to share it.
Re: NP!

That was a guess, a hope because as much as he didn't want to do this he didn't want to see Minato turn into a mindless killer. If it didn't work... well then Suzaku didn't know what would...

"If that is the only chance to prevent more pain for everyone and to keep him from being something that he is not... then we must kill.him.before he hurts anyone else." His voice is soft and sad, but.there is determination there. He does not want to see anyone hurt more than necessary, and.if this is the only way ...

"NORMAL" ENCOUNTERS
no i did not forget this sob]no subject
After all that Suzaku had seen though, after all he had experianced here it just confirmed his suspicions. His world was truly gone, he had failed utterly and completely. This tower with it's torture, monsters, captivity at the whims of sadistic captors. This was all that was left...
He looked down at the pin again, remembering Euphemia; her dress soaked in blood. Saddened that that was the way he always remembered her first, it took effort to move his mind away from her last hours and remember the smiling girl who wanted equality...
He was so lost in his thoughts that he barely noticed when he stepped onto the same floor as Minato.

Lelouch...
"Minato..." There was no point in talking him down, it wouldn't help. He looked down at the pin in his hand. Remembering the screams of thousands, the blood. He closed his fist.
"I'll always help you Minato, but it will be dangerous. I don't want you to be hurt." His voice caught as he spoke.
