So that last week had been hell, and they really should have seen it coming, but it's as they all say...

It was just another Tuesday in Tower What The Helsinki is Going On Here.

Unlike the private party, there are definitely plenty of decorations courtesy of the Amagi Inn heiress, and plenty of food thanks to those who offered to hunt for the event and the ones who could prepare what was caught and gathered. Really, everything's set. Even some alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were clearly labeled (so please, don't spike the normal punch. There are kids here!).

So why was this all set up? Why, because they had succeeded in pissing in Jason's cornflakes and got him maaaaad figuring out the cure for the madness of the previous week with the clues that had been given. But wait, was there a birthday or two this month that had otherwise gone unnoticed? Well, why not celebrate them while celebrating their hard-earned victory? There's cards on a table for people to write down the lucky people who survived another year of this craziness, just waiting for well wishes (or not so, depending on if you like them or not).

[Lancer is rather pleasantly surprised at how the hall had been changed. What he really liked, though, was the fact that there was beer.]

[Of course, this asking is but a formality. He's already fiddling with one of the cans.]

Here- but there ain't any beer unless you got some hops stored in your pocket or somethin'.

[He's smiling lightly, just some hints of tenseness and stress behind it.]

Yeah. It's sort of like vodka. I make the stuff.

[But don't ask where the still is. That's a secret.]

[Vodka, with its higher alcohol concentration, was even better than beer.]

Take it easy with this stuff, it'll get ya buzzed before you know it.

[And his stores of raw material was getting low, too. Who knew how long the empty cafeteria would last?]

Nah. I'm okay. Can't really get drunk unless I want to.

This party is celebrating the fact that we were able to get almost everyone back in their original bodies before it was too late... [Not commenting on the beer. Ew, alcohol.]

Great. Are we vandalizing Jason's office afterwards too?

If only. [He smirks.]

My name is Kidou Yuuto, I don't think we've met before. [Except. They have.]

Lancer. And...I think me might have met.

[pegeen]

[Yeah he. Recognizes that name.]

...I see. [unsure] Well it's nice to meet you in your own body, then.

She...hasn't really given you any trouble yet, right?

I'm sorry, you'll have to clarify which "she" you're talking about. Sayaka, Ruler, or my girlfriend? [That being said with a slight bit of irritation.]

[puppy_lancer]

Let's just go with all of them for the time being.

[pegeen]

Well to quote Sayaka she was "having a minor crisis" after she found out if that tells you anything, Ruler still feels like it was all her fault and it's probably going to bother her for months, and Urotsuki doesn't know about it yet. [Though he has a feeling she won't really care because she's not your average girl...]

[puppy_lancer]

[He winces as each name is brought up.]

Ruler is still blaming herself, huh? You don't blame her for anything, do you? The other two...I'm gonna have to track them down and apologize to them too. The thing is, did any of them blame you for anything?

[pegeen]

Of course I don't blame her for anything, it was entirely your fault. [He raises an eyebrow]

I have a feeling Sayaka might be mad at me for what happened... but I wouldn't blame her, I let it happen while I was in her body, after all... even though it was completely unexpected.

[puppy_lancer]

Fuck, another thing I need to explain to her about.

[He sighs.]

Sorry about that, kid. And for kissing you in the first place. If you're still mad, tell me what I can do, okay?

[pegeen]

There's nothing you really can do. What happened, happened and nothing you do now will ever change that. [He crosses his arms.]

You better just apologize to Sayaka and Ruler and hope they might forgive you. I'll forgive you if they do. It wasn't my body, after all.

[puppy_lancer]

I don't think Ruler will ever forgive me.

[A bitter smile.]

And I don't blame her for that. Same with Sayaka--as long as she doesn't blame herself, I'm okay if she doesn't forgive me.

But you know what, kid? You're the first guy who's ever thrown my own advice back in my face.

Yeah, I'm usually the guy telling people that they can't change the past. Good job, kid.
