Fifteen men on a dead mans chest...
Characters: Nesir Aeser and you!
Setting: Media room on the 16th and then anywhere where there be loot!
Format: I am cool with both but am starting in prose
Summary: After Tohko kills her Nesir dies (feel free to steal her candy), then she comes back as so. Let me know if you are cool with being robbed in the latter parts.
Warnings: Blood/gore for the first part, death (Nesir doesn't know it's not permanent yet), general freak outs. Pillaging and razing places to the ground! Mentions of loss of limbs/eyes
[16th, Media room] For those in the media room, your day is about to become a little bit more horrific as a small figure covered in blood tumbled down the stairs from the floor above. She rolled off the stairs with a thud, blood leaking from her neck and hands.
Or at least her right hand, her left hand was gone, a bloody stump all that remained; Nesir's eyes were rolled back in her head, clinging onto consciousness though even she was admitting it now; she was dying of blood loss. There was nothing she could do about it.
Her pumpkin had been tied to her belt and it spilled as she rolled down the stairs, scattering candy, her costume instantly tightened though she would probably die of her injuries first.
How could she have let this happen? She wriggled her way to a wall, hoping she was alone. She didn't want anyone to see her die; tears filled her eyes at the pain. Not even being set on fire had been this painful; she had been healed within moments.
In just a week she had gone from being a promising student; her life going right for once, a future she could see clearly. To dying from blood loss in a dark cold tower in a faraway world. Her life had never been fair; but this was the biggest unjustice of them all.
"I do be... sorry Lotte," she muttered before closing her eyes and trying to remember the prayer to the shadow lord, the prayer of death. She had only ever half learned it, she hadn't been planning to die.
[17th Room 2-01 and then dorm hallways] She couldn't move. Again. Nesir had a sharp feeling that she had been here before... before she realised she had and what had happened.
This time it was much longer until she could move. She sat up with a start. Looking down at her hands... plural... Had it all been a bad dream? She turned her left hand around, flexing it. She reached up to try and pull the stupid eyepatch off, shocked when it did come off unlike before.
But then she realised she still couldn't see, horror rose as she raised her hands to her eyes, realising the truth...
She jumped out of bed, stumbling and falling, looking down she realised why. One of her legs was gone, replaced with wood.
"How?" How under the shadow had she... she had died! That stupid razor blade woman had cut off her hand and killed her and now she was... She was alive with two hands but only one leg and one eye...
And there was something on her shoulder... she looked to the side to see a dead bird... urgh. Pulling it made her wince in pain... it was attached to her skin...
Growling in confused anger she stormed out of the room, she went for her knives to find them gone, instead there was a curved sword; that was alright she had done some basic classes in sword... And a... What was that? She got out the strange weapon and stared at it...
[Anytime, anywhere] The horror had abated.. Because there was treasure to collect! So many valuables! Nesir burst into bedrooms, emptied trunks. Stole silver from the kitchen, raiding was fun. Stealing wasn't enough. It wasn't like the theft she had done before, she didn't want to be sneaky. She wanted to destroy! Raze it to the ground, take the loot.
And the best loot was candy! Shiny candy, there was so much of it! She could attack people with this fun new weapon of hers (she was a bad shot, she had never seen a gun before), she could attack monsters and steal the candy from them.
And when she had her loot she had to bury it! Nesir chose the farm land, meadow and forests for this, the shed had a spade, that she stole. Burying small piles of loot and marking them on her map.
Yes her map, she had made it herself, marking where she hid her stolen treasure, kept close to her person at all times. That treasure was hers and no one would take it from her!

Because these two needed to interact more. xD; (Dorm Room 1-09, 19th)
"You! Why are you here? Come to apologize?"
Yus! Also let me know if this is not okay!
"You! I do no be apologising, you do be the one who should be apologising."
Nesir was not getting anywhere near her and her freaky fingers. She might not have her throwing daggers at the moment but this other weapon was just as good. She took it out and pulled the trigger. "You do no be killing me and getting away with it!"
It's perfectly fine!~
Even in pain, Tohko could still talk. "I..warned you that if you ran away..that I would kill you. It was your own fault. Now, why are you here? Are you planning to loot the place, Miss Pirate?"
no subject
"Yes I did be," there was no point in lying after all. That was exactly what she was here for. "But now I do be thinking I could be teaching you a lesson, because you can't just be killing people for not obeying you!"
Well you could... Nesir had seen Elina do it before... And her sister had...
No she had treasure to loot and her murderer to get revenge on. "First you do be giving me all your treasure!"

When Tohko heard the demand for treasure, Tohko looked at her chest, thinking. Inside were her clothes, the daggers Tetra had given her, Saber's shinai, a copy of No Longer Human, and Konoha's book..
It was the last item that made her sit on the chest. She wasn't going to let anyone take her things! Especially Konoha's book. She had searched the library. There was only one copy of it here-hers. "No way! I'm not going to let you steal my stuff!" Tohko yelled with all the strength she could muster. She was bleeding all over the chest, and while that annoyed Tohko, she'd deal with her injuries and the mess later.
no subject
"It do be my stuff now, I do be taking it!" So much more fun than sneaking around stealing things, just demanding it be given to you. She walked over to the girls bed and pulled the covers off, half to annoy Tohko and half because she wanted to destroy things! She did it to the bed next to Tohko's as well. "You do be giving me it or I do be taking it by force!"

Tohko sighed again. She was in no position to fight, but she had to protect her valuables. Suddenly, an idea came into her head. "I..will give you..everything..except the nightgown, the dress, the shinai, the daggers, and..the book titled 'Similar to The Sky'." Maybe this pirate didn't mind a bit of bargaining.
no subject
"What else do you even be having?"
no subject
Tohko sighed. "I..need the clothes..for when I'm out of..this horrid..costume. The..shinai..needs..to be returned..and the daggers..are needed for defense. As..for 'Similar to The Sky', it's..a wonderful memento..of a friend. It's a wonderful story."
Tohko sighed. "You...can have the parasol..the notebook..and 'No Longer Human'. That's..all I..have."
no subject
"You can be wearing that white suit they did be giving us... I do be wanting them, the No Longer Human, the parasol and the daggers... What does a shinai even be?"
no subject
"I...never had..that..white suit." Which was true. Tohko had woken up in her school clothes when she had come to the tower, which made Tohko pretty happy. Those things looked horrid. "So, please..leave me the clothes, the daggers, the shinai, and 'Similar to The Sky'. You can have 'No Longer Human'. That book..tastes like poison anyway..and you can have the..parasol." Tohko took a deep breath before explaining.
"A..shinai is..a training sword..made out..of bamboo. Saber..let me..borrow hers, so..you shouldn't..take it."

Darn. Tohko bit her lip and hoped that Nesir would at least leave her 'Similar to The Sky'. "You..could..but you'd have to pull out my corpse too." Tohko dug her hands in deeper, and even though she was getting blood all over the chest, she knew that the mess was the least of her worries. Maybe the blood would make the chest harder to open. "So..what..do you say? Do..you..agree to..my bargain?"
no subject
no subject
"I..need those daggers..to protect myself. I..can't..let you keep them."
no subject
"You do no be needing them, you do be having blade fingers."
no subject
no subject
Or until they got bored and changed it again, which frankly was what Nesir was believing at the moment because there seemed to be no rhyme or reason to this.
"So you do no be needing the daggers. Hand them over."
no subject
And with that, Tohko collapsed. Her fingers still made sure she was attached to the chest though, and the blood probably wasn't going to help.
no subject
She smirked when Tohko finally fell unconcious and went to work prising her off the chest. The blood didn't help but Nesir was used to blood.
Her clothing was stained by the time she had finished, she looked at the things and smirked. In the end she took the clothes, the daggers and the shinai. Grinning she bundled them up to burry, when she saw Similar to the Sky...
Books weren't really all that valuable, so she hadn't taken No Longer Human after all, or the notebook. But this one... Tohko obviously cared about it and the stupid girl had killed her and taken her hand. Nesir might have killed her back (or maybe she was just unconscious, who knew; it was pretty much the same thing when you woke up from being dead). But that really wasn't revenge.
She grabbed the book as well, that wasn't the compulsion that was making her want to steal and bury loot, just vindictiveness. She wouldn't bury this one, she would keep it in her trunk, this stupid blade finger girl had got loads of stuff. Stuff that reminded her of her home and Nesir hadn't got anything like that so she would steal this.
Smirking one last time at Tohko's body she left.
((OOC: So as she says, she will bury the weapons and clothes, she has a map so Tohko is free to find them again/force her to show her where they are after the event.
Similar to the Sky is in her trunk, and again Tohko is very welcome to get it back (at least it wont get damaged this way).))
no subject
And she would get it back.
[ooc: The sad thing about that is that Tohko doesn't know that. She thinks that she's buried the book with the rest of the stuff.]
16th, hope you didn't want all that candy, Nesir
As he drew closer, he realized he knew the person. It was that girl he'd met a few days ago, the one in the morgue, wasn't it? He swallowed his giddiness and put on a concerned face, kneeling down beside her.
"Oh my. Oh, my, my, my." He looked her over, taking stock of the wounds he could see. Nesir's skin was pallid; she'd lost a lot of blood, and probably didn't have much time left. "Look at you. What on earth happened?"
no subject
"Stupid girl... blade fingers... she did be..." Nesir's accent was probably almost impossible to understand, her words slurring into each other. She fell silent, her breathing shallow as she tried to focus on something that wasn't the pain.
no subject
"Blade fingers? How strange!" he said. "It certainly sounds plausible, with the look of your wounds."
He raises his hand, lifting a few pieces of candy with it. In one fluid motion, he drops the candies into his bucket and then puts a hand to Nesir's neck, brushing some hair away so that he can get a better look at the gashes. Nesir might have heard the candy falling into his bucket, but he starts to talk again before she can respond.
"Oh ja, those are very bad. I estimate you only have a few more minutes to live," he said.
Even though he knew Tower deaths weren't permanent, the tone of his voice suggested that he'd be saying the same thing to her even if she was about to die for good. His voice held the cold, clinical tone of a doctor delivering bad news to a dying patient, but it had none of the sympathy. In fact, he sounded almost amused, though he wasn't smiling.
no subject
Tears tried to escape from her eyelids when he touched her neck and she hissed in pain and fear. A few more minutes... She had not thought she would be sat with a few more minutes to live.
She didn't mind Richtofen's tone, it wasn't like he had any reason to care about her, it would be stupid if he did. She was just someone he had met and she would feel the same if their positions were reversed.
But if she had had to chose someone to spend her last moments with; in this situation where neither Ral nor Lotte were options it would have been him. He was the least idiotic person she had met so far.
"Can... Can I be asking you something..." It was stupid and he had no reason to say yes but she was going to ask anyways.
no subject
Oh, she asked him something.
"Yes, child?"
no subject
"Can you be..." she took a breath, her vision was blacking out and she wasn't stupid. She knew how death worked and she knew if she didn't speak soon she wouldn't be able to speak at all.
"When you do be done..." Because she had seen his fascination with dead bodies, and guessed cutting them up was just something he liked to do. "Can you be burning me?"
Because death was scary, but the thought she would be put into a dark cave forever terrified her more than anything. Surely there was no way to be reborn from there.
no subject
His eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas morning.
"Why, yes, of course I can!" he said, grinning from ear to ear. Someone was actually requesting that he mess with their dead body, how joyful! But he wondered if he'd be able to do it before the retrieval units got to her...
He bit his lip and put on his best grave look, nodding his head. "After all, who am I to deny a young girl's dying wish?"
no subject
She was just glad he had said yes, "Tha..." She didn't finish her word though as she found herself struggling to breathe, for a moment everything was pain and then her eyes glazed over and she was still.
no subject
Clearly, that's the most important issue here. Richtofen moved his hand away from Nesir's face so that he could scoop up more of her candy.
"Oh, it's a bit bloody," he muttered, plucking one piece out of a pool of Nesir's blood. "Ah, well. It'll work just fine, I'm sure."
