October 21st (locked to Commander Shepard and possibly a sleepy Nanako)...
Yu had done his best to gather the materials necessary, to meet the quota and stop his costume from crushing him like it had for so many already. He truly did place the effort in it, yet in his frantic search and how much his head was throbbing from Izanagi's voice screaming at him to save everyone he could from the fate others had fallen victim to...
It was an order neither of them could follow. Not even for themselves.
So before it would inevitably crush him, he quietly placed what was left of his own (not enough.... it wasn't enough...) into Nanako's pumpkin. As long as he could do it, he would keep his promise to Dojima-san.... to his uncle. Lightly brushing the bangs from her face before turning around, he turned to the other person in the room he trusted... even if vaguely and mostly due to the word of a certain Geth.
"...I only have an hour left. After that, there's no telling what she'll cause to happen..." He hesitated, before looking to the commander a friend trusted and idolized. "Before that happens, I need to tell you something."
I'm sorry, Nanako...
Soon after he left Room 3-15, he is killed. On the plus side, he's no longer affected by Lelouch's absolute order! ...Oh wait, that could potentially be a bad... thing...

He awakened as usual for when someone died in this place. He could breathe fine, nothing seemed out of the ordinary as he waited for the paralysis to wear off...
That's when he noticed his face was no longer his. The mask was permanently attached to his face. He tried to rip it off, but that soon became less of an issue compared to what was in his chest. He knew the blade well; he'd been using it as a sort of walking stick and to fight with when he could not reach something with the bus stop sign. Yu gasped, realizing he was still... and his feet...

October 22nd - 28th...
He ran from the room, not daunted at all by the blades in his feet... he didn't know if it was actual running or if he was beginning to glide. Yu didn't care. He just wanted to be away from everyone, from this insatiable desire... he didn't want to kill. He'd continue running until someone stopped him or he reached the meadow and fell to his knees, the naginata still sheathed in his chest like a certain Shadow-Persona he recalled helping another tame... how he remembered his Magatsu Izanagi stabbing his Izanagi.
No... I can't. I won't-!
He held his head in his clawed hands for a brief moment before screaming. He couldn't... he wouldn't kill to satisfy this need-!
But he wanted to...
He's scared of himself, of how Thanatos warned him... yet he couldn't stop it from happening in a far-too-literal sense.

October 29th - 31st...
He's no longer hiding from the others. In fact, he's wandering freely as the others scatter and try to either keep themselves alive or have already succumbed. Yellow eyes stare at each and every one of them, and on the surface, he's given in... but internally, there is but one small voice still crying out as he's forced to watch.
Don't come near me...
Don't come closer...
I can't control myself...
Save yourselves...
Kill me...
Don't come near me...
Don't come closer...
I can't control myself...
Save yourselves...
Kill me...

[27th] This is what Best Friends do.
That was why, that afternoon, he found Saber and gave her his candy bucket.
He walked through the halls, one hand kept firmly on his helmet so it wouldn't squeeze itself back onto his head, the other gripping his sword tightly. Luke had to try... that was all he could think of. Even though he knew he was outclassed by the combination of Yu and his personal head god at once, he had to try to stop him. That's what best friends did for each other, right? That's... what he would do for Guy, in the same situation. He was fairly confident of that.
Luke stopped when he finally caught sight of him, trying to keep his expression grim, and not give into the gut wrenching sobbing he wanted to do. Dammit... he was never going to forgive Ruana for this.
"Yu. Izanagi."
...he was amazed his voice didn't break as he called out to them.
Replibro... whhhhhhy...
Yet he wanted to... he craved it...
No, this wasn't him. It was what the tower was doing to him, just like it had been that time-
Kill...
'I've killed before... what's stopping me now...? I could give them-'
'No.'
He was laughing under his breath as he placed a hand on the trunk of a tree in the meadow floor, not far from where he had been when he had faced his Shadow. Faced his god.
No, he was- no... Everything was wrong... He didn't know what to think, what to say... if anyone told him, he would likely not pay attention, either. Yet still he...
'That voice...'
Ye blinked once, the red spreading from where the naginata was still sheathed seemed even brighter than it had before. Yet this voice, the one that had helped call him out the last time... Ha... How ironic that it would be here again he would be found by this friend of his. One who was doomed to suffer if his guess was correct.
Gold eyes began to glow when he turned in the air, not even truly touching the ground anymore.
"Thou should not have come... Luke..."
He just wanted to be alone, wanted to be away from others so he wouldn't hurt them... Why did people he care about keep coming?
Because, bro... because...
Luke trailed off, working his neck back and forth. He could already feel his costume getting really tight; he gave it about a half hour before it got too tight for him to be able to fight properly. That was fine; he wasn't giving himself that much time against a god anyway. Still, he forced himself to breathe, as passing out right now wasn't going to do him any good.
"I figured if I was going to end up dying anyway, it would be helping out my friend," he finished after a moment. "'Cause the least I can do is try to stop you. And if you regret this later, the least I can do then is punch you."
He paused, glancing at the meadow floor around him. Funny... he usually equated the outcropping of selenia flowers with Tear, and this place with Yu. It seemed that both of the people that had a massive influence on his life had something to do with pretty fields of flowers and other naturey stuff. Funny the things you realize when you're about to die...
After a moment he raised his mask to his face, snapping it back into place so it wouldn't snap on on its own during the fight. He lifted his broken sword then, settling into a ready stance.
"C'mon, Yu!" he shouted. "I'm not going to go easy on you!"
Well, then... allow me to show you why October sucks in Atlus.
"So you wish to fall in battle rather than be crushed to death..." He could understand that well enough, but seeing the broken blade in his friend's hand... he tsked, before tossing a sheathed katana at his feet. "Then fight to the best of thine ability with a blade that has not shattered."
He would have that blade back soon enough, anyway. Yu hovered in place, drawing the naginata from his chest. It didn't even hurt as bad as he thought it would...
"I will repeat what an old friend once said before our battle: Abandon any concern you may have for me..." It's obvious that he was serious, how deadly he seemed now as the eyes glow all the more. "-and fight as though you intend to kill."
He swung once, electricity building up around him as he felt his own power rise. He would make it as painless as he desired...
Bring it, bro. He's ready.
Luke charged forward, a faint trickle of the spell trailing after him, as he drew the lightning -- and the Third Fonons associated with it -- into himself.
"Feel the roar of lightning...!" he bellowed, bringing his sword down on the two of them, before launching himself up. A bolt of lightning sparked on the edge of his sword, striking as he came back down blade first.
"Lightning Tiger Blade!"
Alright. Thanks for the heal, bro.
He felt the blade strike him, yet he hadn't budged. In fact, it seemed to pass right through without a scratch, static from the raw electricity healing what could have well been a lethal blow. He jumped back, lifting the naginata with a single hand as though it were no big deal.
"Thou wouldst utilize mine own element against myself?" How foolish, indeed... His eyes seemed almost amused before the field of red appeared under Luke's feet. "Tch!"
Good luck dodging the eight red energy blades coming at thee in rapid succession from all sides. You would need it.
...thanks for the pain, bro.
He noticed his blade passing through Yu and Izanagi (Yuanagi? Izayugi?) like it was nothing, realizing far too late that lightning wasn't going to do a thing to him, even if he was capable of stopping the attack midway through. It wasn't his fault; just because a monster on Auldrant used the Third Fonon didn't mean they absorbed it... at least, not all the time, anyway.
When the red light appeared at his feet, he knew he didn't have the chance to run; there was no way he was going to be able to dodge that. He managed to at least knock a couple blades away from his front, but he couldn't be in eight different directions at once.
It was kind of funny... it didn't... hurt? He knew he was being stabbed in the back and sides, could feel the pressure and the blood rising in the back of his throat, but he didn't really feel anything. Was this what it was like to die? Is this what that first Oracle Knight on the Tartarus felt when he killed him? He thought he'd be sad that he was dying but... really, he was more upset that he hadn't been able to make much difference against Yu and Izanagi.
It felt like hours had gone by between being stabbed and the moment he fell to his knees, but it was really only a handful of seconds. Somehow, he was still alive, barely clinging onto that little sliver of life like he was clinging to Yu's katana. There wasn't a damn thing he could do, though, other than stay there and wait for the next attack.
Hey, it could have been worse
'I'm sorry... I'm so sorry...'
He stopped just within reach of his fallen friend, a strange mist falling upon him and healing those wounds. Izanagi was the giver of life and god of creation, after all. Even in this form...
"Thou were not prepared. Perhaps we should practice once All Hallows Eve hast passed..."
Was that an offer for training? Perhaps... In this world, after all, it was essential for survival.
Wincing, he lifted a clawed hand, holding it out for him to take.
"I can make what little time you have left painless..."
It wouldn't directly kill, but if what this shadow of himself said was right... it would be like dreamless sleep.
True, bro. Very true.
He reached up as Yu approached, ripping off his helmet so he could breathe a little better, keeping a firm grip on it as he turned a weary gaze up at his friend.
"...y'know, I came here to try and help you," he replied, sounding amused despite his expression. A smile worked its way onto his face after a moment before he continued. "I trust you, buddy."
He reached up, straining a bit against his own costume, to take his friend's hand.
Oyasumi...
This coming from one who had slain a god... sort of. Depended on which you were referring to or if Myriad Truths truly did erase her from existence (he doubted it, since she was still strong enough to bitchslap him across the tower should she try).
He took Luke's hand, and in that brief instant the tower, the meadow that surrounded them, dissipated in a brilliant white light. Fog surrounded them both, and for that brief moment it is almost as though they stood on a red and black path. The only thing that lined the way were torii gates they would pass through. There was no need for air, no need for words... Soon enough, he would be floating in blissful ignorance of how crushing his costume was rapidly becoming. Time itself seemed to blur the longer he stayed there, floating in peaceful oblivion that the fog created...
When had Yu disappeared from it? Who knew. Because his voice still echoed in the mists.
'A thousand die... and fifteen thousand are born.'
Maybe he should ask what that meant when this was all over, but for now... enjoy oblivion until the true nightmare begins.
