Characters: Tetra (
stop_calling_me_zelda) and OPEN
Setting: All over the place
Format: Prose, will switch
Summary: Tetra got mail! Blah blah more words
Warnings: Animus.
Mailroom - Floor 78
She was just a kid but she’d seen a lot more than anyone her age from her world (in her time besides Link) would normally see. And what she’d seen so far here in the tower was another thing entirely. Tetra was getting used to it all. And then this.
The young pirate sat on the floor of the mailroom, eyes empty as she stared at the contents of the package that had been in her mailbox. Pieces of shattered wood that she could recognize as being from her ship and parts of the sail that she remembered yelling at her crew to fix. And then the flag, her Jolly Roger… the one her mother had flown and covered in blood. Her mind flashed to the faces of her crew, those sweet and often stupid but loyal men. Her crew who had chased down the Helmaroc King to try to save her.
Ten minutes later, Tetra was standing. Screaming. Less like the scared girl that people would find curled up against Zelda at night and more like the bossy brat from the Great Sea.
“WHO DID IT!? WHO THINKS THEY’RE BEING FUNNY!?”
Dorm Floors
Tetra was just, simply, looking around each floor as she headed to Zelda room. She had the remains of her ship in a crudely made bag and didn’t want to stash them in her room. She spent less time there than anywhere else so it made sense to try to find somewhere else to hide them. This was her ship and she wouldn’t let anyone else touch the remains of it.
Random other places (your choice, anything goes)
Tetra can be found elsewhere in the tower throughout the day, a short curved sword at her waist. It was one she had arrived with but made small enough for her to use. Armed? Damn right she is but not just with a sword. She was looking for an excuse to practice her magic too. Her package had woken her up from what had felt like a daze. Maybe she was in the library, reading up on more magic or swimming in the lake or on the beach.

He stopped as she shouted, and his eyes went wide, scared. But Tetra was nice and so he spoke up in a tiny voice. "Are... are you alright Tetra?"

"My ship... Look what they've done to it..!"
Her ship, what was most likely blood stains from her crew. The ship her mother had built and captained, entrusted to her only child.

He looked at the ship through tear filled eyes. "I'm sorry... it's very cruel of them... They shouldn't..."

"I c-can't b-believe... My m-mom built that ship, w-why would they-"

"They knew... sorry... they knew it would make you cry..."

Sure, they had given her the Triforce of Wisdom back but what did that really do for her now? And it wasn't even real. It wasn't fair. It wasn't right.

If she'd had a choice, young as she is, Tetra would have stayed on the Great Sea and gone down with her ship like any good captain.

"Um..." Changing the subject was hard and he looked awkward. "Where you... sorry... where you a sailor then?"
