Summary: Mia adjusts to life in Animus, and meets a few new people.

01-Infirmary

For many people the infirmary was the last place they wanted to be, but for Mia it was the closest thing she could find to home in the tower. She'd first headed here first, making sure that she hadn't been injured after waking up. This was certainly the first time she'd seen such advanced healing techniques, although she thought it was odd that the people seemed to rely on systems to do the healing for them. But, this model seemed interesting and she was wondering if there was something she could learn.

She's currently scouring the shelves, looking through all thee medications she could find. Most of these seemed to be for minor ailments, but they were still very far ahead of the healing medicines that she had given to Megan and Justin to distribute in Imil. With these, it was likely that many minor diseases that would become deadly without constant attention of a healer could be stopped!

Mia's rigorously taking notes, but is not oblivious to anyone walking in. If she could, she'd like to help out healing people in the accessible wing of the infirmary, and the first person walking through the door is the best place to start!

02-Library

Anyone heading to the fantasy and fairy-tale section might find a blue-haired healer curled up, with a book in her lap. There's a rather large stack next to her, but she seems to be making progress at a steady rate. Although she's very focused, her posture is still very open. Anyone wandering through this area of the library might get the impression that this person is okay striking up casual conversation, or being asked for help.

03-Room 01-07

Although Mia hasn't had a chance to meet with the other occupants of her room yet, she has a feeling that they'll get along well. It's rather refreshing, after traveling with a group of almost entirely all boys for so long, to be able to stay with a group of girls instead. If the state of their belongings were any indication, they both seemed rather well-kept and organized.

Currently, Mia's looking over some of the books she'd taken from the library and infirmary, making notes. There's a rather orderly stack of books beside the bed, and a candle burning on the nightstand. It's beginning to get late, but Mia wouldn't mind talking to her roommates and getting to know them better should one of them walk in.

Room 1-07

It's not so much that Amelia's organized as much as she just doesn't have very many possessions, although her pile of clothes has been steadily growing. For the most part she tries to avoid the dormitories as much as possible except to sleep in, so it's fairly late when she walks in on the new girl and her stack of books.

"--Oh! Hey. You're new here, huh?"

Mia looks up, able to make out a figure in the dim glow of the candlelight. She looked rather well-built, although her clothes were slightly revealing.

"Yes. Are you in this room, too?"

And then there's the wings. They're not immediately obvious with the shadows and the dim lighting, but they're kinda hard to miss as she gets closer.

"Yeah. I'm Amelia. What's your name?"

She'll extend her hand out towards Amelia, but her eyes naturally wander to the wings.

"I see you found the library. So you probably got the whole rundown and stuff already, huh?"

"Yes. More or less, I think."

"So anyway, where're you from?"

"A land called Weyard. Have you heard of it?"

[ladyliberty]

Amelia shakes her head. "Doesn't ring a bell. Is that in Europe?"

I don't believe so.

[What's a Europe?]

Where are you from?

[ladyliberty]

I'm from around Philly. But I live up by New York.

[If she doesn't know New York, she's definitely from another universe.]

Oh? Where is New York?

[Different dimension entirely.]

[Welp, so much for that.]

Nevermind. [Amelia takes a seat on her own bed, nodding toward the pile of books.] Watcha readin' about?

[Mia smiles, turning the book towards Amelia so she can see the title.]

It's a collection of fairy tales.

Oh, neat! I used to love fairy tales. Are there any good ones?

There are certainly some I haven't heard before.

What are your favorites?

Oh, like, Cinderella and Snow White and Rapunzel-- all that good Disney stuff.

Oh, it's this company, they make great movies for kids. I had all of them growing up.
