It's understandable that he didn't, of course, and she knows she'd probably be more nuisance than help if she were to try to go along, but leaving him to roam the tower at night all alone just isn't a pleasant thought. Not when the tower is so unpredictable a place to live. Her confidence in his abilities is, however, admittedly some comfort.]
