Decorating the new hive

Summary: Nepeta is decorating her new bedroom-- or at least, her section of the bedroom-- to fit her tastes.
Warnings: CAT PUNS. EVERYWHERE.


Nepetas trunk was gracious enough to provide her with her pelts and furs she had kept in her old hive, before it had caved in. So! Nepeta had pushed her bed to the wall, and was covering her bed in furs, and creating a sort of makeshift tent over top. It was a perfectly cozy nest for any cat, and she was quite content with how it was going along. Nice and dark and good for cat naps, h33 h33!

She had also pulled out a pack of chalk that had apparently came along with her aswell, and was beginning to illustrate on the wall inside her tent, which was currently pulled back to show the insides. She had entitled it 'SHIPPING WALL', and she appeared t be just beginning to start on a square. 

 

"Friska and Kanaya... moirails? Or is it matesprits? Gosh, they need to make up their minds!" She murmured to herself, scribbling away at the wall.

"What's a moy rail and a matesprit?" Romeo had been passing the room when he heard his new friends voice. He peeked in and saw the tent, "Wow what are you making? Are you drawing?" He skipped forwards with a grin.

Canada always made vague attempts to keep track of who lived where and it was with great surprise that she notice a sort of...tent in someone's room. She knocked on the doorway, peering in before she curiously walked over.

"...Shipping wall?"

Hiya. [She's a little shy and hesitant to leave her hive bed yet.]

Nepeta made a tsk tsk kind of noise, shaking her head sadly. "Didn't your Lusus teach you annnnyyything?" That was like, the bare basics of everything! Obviously she must take it upon herself to inform this poor child of the basics of life. "Don't you know anything about your quadrants?"
THIS WAS FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN WHAT SHE WAS WORKING ON.

Nepeta nodded, giving Canada a Cheshire grin. "Uh huh! How else am I supurrsed to keep up with all the quadrants around here?" She giggled, as if it was the most obvious thing ever.

Canada's confused look was probably enough. She had heard of the various types of troll romance but she couldn't recall if they were called quadrants or anything...Hmn. She knelt and looked closer.

Romeo blinked, he wondered if he should tell her he didn't even know what a Lusus was, but he didn't want her to think he was stupid. "I don't think I have a Lusus," he said tilting his head, "What's a quadrant?" He looked at her wall closely again.

"No lusus?" Nepeta gasped, looking at him incredulously. "Then how did you survive the cullings?" She shook her head a little, a sad expression on her face. "Obviously it's my duty to teach you the facts of life in that case! Ahem." She pats next to her on the bed.

Canada laughed and shook her head, "I'm sorry, us human types don't have them. Do you mean the types of troll romance? Kanaya explained them to me once, but I don't recall her calling them quadrants. Perhaps I didn't listen well enough."

"Cullings?" Romeo didn't know what that word meant, but it didn't sound very good. Still he like learning things so didn't ask any more and just sat on the bed kicking his legs and waiting for Napeta to tell him about these 'facts of life'.
