When nature calls, will you answer?
Characters: Romano and you~
Setting: The new Forest Floor
Format: I will match you!
Summary: It's not home, but it's the closest thing to familiar Romano has found. Enough so that he's decided to have his lunch among the plants and questionable wildlife, in relative peace. Of course, it isn't long before he begins to miss home even more...
Warnings: Potential mauling/death, cursing, the usual.
It'd been a surprise, this whole tower expansion thing. Double the surprise when Romano finally explored these new floors, amazed that these additions could even fit on the floors they were housed within. That pool looked awful deep.
He'd skipped the room with all the tech, not being fond of the stuff in the first place. He was a man of dirt and earth, not a scientist or a specialist in the burgeoning technology of the modern era. Molding the ground with his own two hands and some seeds was more his shtick. He'd been saving the seeds from his tomatoes, by the way.
The moment he arrived on the floor with all the trees and the sound of birds chirping, he wondered if he'd been dreaming the entire time. Pinching himself on the arm to try and wake himself did nothing but hurt. "Fuck," he hissed, regretting such a stupid action. He didn't spend a lot of time there the first day. But he would make plans to later.
Now, after mentioning his plan a little vaguely to his youngest roommate, Romeo, Romano had decided it was the day he'd do it. He'd take some things from the kitchen (boycotting eating in the cafeteria for the day) and make his own meal. Just some simple things like sandwiches and other picnic foods, pretty much just what he could carry, or feel like carrying up and down those damn stairs. Fucking stairs.
But, because he never wanted to be completely alone, he left a few notes on a few acquaintances doors, suggesting that they could join him if they wanted, but it's not like they had to or anything. Everyone Romano has met that he didn't despise received a note on their door. (ex: Both Spains, Romana, Canada...)
When he finally made it to the forest himself, he was sure to be the first one there. He expected to be the only one, really, but whatever. He sat on what appeared to be a pleasant little patch of grass(?) and started setting up his lunch, thinking of what it'd be like if he could share it with a certain stupid idiot brother... if... only he were here.
[OOC: Feel free to jump in the one thread so it feels more like a party, or make offshoot threads if you want alone time with Romano. I hope this makes sense!!!]

"You did mean me, right? I don't want to intrude if you didn't, si?"

Any company was starting to seem tolerable in this place.
"Si. You're not intruding." He could feel his face heating up from embarassment, since he really didn't handle speaking to women all that gracefully. And for the moment, they were the only ones around. "I didn't bring a blanket or anything. If I did I'd offer you a seat on it. I hope the grass is okay?"
Would there be any bugs on the ground here? Oh god he hoped not.

"The grass is fine, don't worry. I didn't really spend much time in here when I explored, is it as pretty everywhere else as it is here?"

For some time, he hadn't had the guts to go on his own. By some stroke of miracle or some other scientific reasoning, Iceland ventured on his own--perhaps it was the licorice. A rustle surprised him, causing the boy to panic for a good few seconds. "Eh... you're that Italian..." Suddenly, all forms of emotion seemed to just melt away.
"What are you doing here...?"
this alright? I can reply to the main thread if thats better
"Hello miss Madeline," He smiled a big grin, "Biongiorno signor Romano!" He stood grinning at the two.
don't mind me?
She hadn't expected to find a boy with pale hair first though. "Ah, hola?"
of course not o/
"A-Ah... hello." he stammered before becoming very flustered and annoyed that he had stammered. "Am I interrupting something?"
This is fine. ;3;!!! Sorry I'm late!
He saw Romeo approaching and waved a hand, unaware that he was still smiling. The cape-ish thing was something he'd seen the kid in before, but it never dawned on him to ask why the hell he'd been wearing it. "Buongiorno, Romeo... and Piccolo." The furry tubesock-turned-hat deserved a greeting too, he supposed.
"You probably both think it's stupid to have a picnic here, right?" He mentally questioned his own words, 'Then why would they have shown up, you moron?'. "It's just something to do, I guess. Maybe..."
He should thank them because they actually showed up, though.
"Hmm." he thought it over, stuffing the corner of a sandwich in his mouth at the same time.

He was about to remark on that very observation before he heard the second, feminine voice he'd come to recognize as Spain's. A Spain's. Girl Spain's.
Romano stayed put on the grass and shouted over at the two. "You're one of the Nordics right? You're welcomed to join too if you don't turn the grass into frozen tundra or something." He didn't think it was actually possible, but he'd make the jab anyway.

"Ah Romeo, hello! Oh Piccolo, Kumapolo is near the staircase if you'd like to let them play. She won't hurt him."
"Romano, it's quite a nice idea. I was just a little surprised when you invited me, that is all."

"Forests don't usually grow in towers do they?" He asked looking between the two.
