I tink I hit sum bad mojo...

Summary: Xue wakes up and has one hell of a headache, decides she needs to check the place out.

One moment Xue was looking over the horizon from atop one of the many tall mountains in the Storm Peaks, enjoying a good keg of Dragonfire Ale, and then the next she passes out, gets told some crazy story in her dreams... was it a dream? And then she ends up in an odd room with a collar around her neck... Somehow this seems oddly familiar to the times she fought the pirates of the South Seas.

Nonetheless, Xue's never been one to stay still no matter what messed up place she ends up at, she had enough wacky and crazy when dealing with the Old Gods.

Xue finally leans up, rubbing her head and opening her eyes hazily, it all seems like a bad case of taking the wrong drink or smelling some bad incense or whatever. "Oy, remind me ta nawt trust a Vrykul womon when it be comin' ta drinks..."

Of course she wasn't expecting an answer, if her 'dream was true, she was somewhere entirely different...

Guess it was time to put her exploration skills to work then. The troll female looked around and found that the trunk at the foot of her bed held most of her belongings and a pleasant surprise, Sweetfang, her Venomhide Ravasaur hatchling was sleeping soundly, nuzzled against the rest of the things.

"Now 'ow did ya git yerself in there hm?" she said as she picked up the hatchling and nuzzled it against her. After a moment, she placed it down and beckoned it to follow her, she'd be damned if she left him alone while she was out trying to figure things out.

If Xue'Kol looked outside of her room, she might notice a 6 feet tall guy pass by with what looked like a large, metallic chair like he was on a mission.

A human? Well not completely surprised since the lot seems to enjoy a good romp as much as trolls but still, maybe she should keep her guard up.

"Oy, hooman. Joo from 'round here?"

The human bulldozer stopped and turned around, the chair resting on his elbow. Wooha, green lady, that was new.

"Nah. I'm stuck in this place like you are, lady. I've only been here for a month. You just woke up?"

Huh, she had known a good deal of common back in Azeroth, but somehow she understood him as clear as day. That coupled with how he understood what she said was a good sign.

Maybe the gods hadn't judged her too harshly.

"Aye, jus' woke up wit a killah headache mon. So I be takin' da ting dat voice be sayin' bout our worlds bein' destroyed be true?"

"Yeah, so far I haven't seen anything to the contrary," he muttered with a sigh. "But I ain't completely convinced. There's gotta be some way out of this tower and finding out what really happened. Place is crawling with monsters in the wrong levels, you might wanna be careful."

Kanji was not that good with casual conversation, truthfully.

"I be no stranya ta monsters an' danya, but I'll be takin' heed of yer warnin'. I be supposin' dat many have tried and met wit an unfortunate end when dey be tryin' ta escape? As is usually da case wit wacked out places such as dis?"

Xue was curious, last thing she needed was another Karazhan... But this seemed oddly eerie and something in her gut told her it was far worse...

Shion blinked as someone left one of the rooms on the first floor. He had gotten used to trolls but she was something else, not a troll but not a human either.

He was curious and smiled brightly at her, "Hello."

Xue had been pondering her next move when she heard the greeting and turned around. A human huh?

She smiled and waved back lazily, one hand on her hips as she looked him over. "Ey' der. Ya wouldn't 'appen ta be da person who brought me here would ya?" Not that she thought he was, she was just teasing a little, but then again appearances were sometimes deceiving.

Shion shook his head, "No I'm not, I'm not sure who did but I was brought here the same as you." He smiled at her again.

"'ave ya been here long? Or ya jus' arrived too?" Xue looked him over and returned the smile. He certainly seemed cheerful, he must not be from her homeworld. It was rare to see a human happy to see her unless they had other plans with her, mostly capture and then some.

"Four months..." A long time though not as long as some people he knew. "Did you just wake up then?"

Xue frowned for a second, if he had been here four months, then the reality of the situation seemed to have gotten grimmer. But that wouldn't stop her from trying to find a way back when possible.

She went back to her friendly smile and nodded.

"Aye, jus' woke up wit da worse 'eadache. Notin' I can't handle, but ya know how it be when ya be wakin' up in a strange bed an' bein' told yer world be destroyed yeah? Would be givin' anyone a headache." she laughed a bit, trying to make light of the situation.

Shion nodded, "It's not true though. At least... we have no proof that it isn't true but they have no proof that it is. The more likely answer is that they have kidnapped us."

Xue laughed a bit, "I be real tired of bein' kidnapped ya know. Or at least attempts at kidnappin' me. Then again havin' a bounty in yer head don't help mon."

She shakes her head and grins, "Well, if ya be seein' dat way, den dat means der be hope, an' dat always be a good ting yanno?"

"I'm sorry." It didn't sound like she had had a very peaceful life before coming here and though Shion had been wanted by the authorities himself no one had ever tried to kidnap him. Until now...

"Yes hope is a good thing, I am sure we can find a way out of here."

Xue waved a dismissive hand and grinned, "It be life mon, no need ta be apologizin'."

She moved a bit closer and relaxed against a nearby wall. "So, anyting of note dat I be needin' ta know 'bout da place?"

Shion nodded, "It's dangerous," he began. "There are monsters roaming around, though the bedrooms seem to be safe. Some floors are more dangerous than others, the forest for example seems to be an area most people avoid. The monsters attack mostly at night. Sometimes those that brought us here like to play games..."

"I see... So da towah has different dimension-like floors den?" It sorta reminded her of Karazhan for sure... Maybe the owners of the tower were extremely powerful mages?

Xue turned to eye over Shion, "'ave der been any casualties?" Which was a big concern.

"I don't know about dimensions... but every floor is different and some are much bigger than others..." Shion really didn't understand and had stopped trying to understand months ago. Everything he had ever learned told him a building such as this shouldn't exist, and yet here he was...

He nodded though, "Death... death doesn't seem to last. Or perhaps we don't die at all... People are injured and die a lot but they just come back..."

Xue frowned, "Wait, dey be comin' back? Do dey remembah wat 'appened or do der memories get altered?"

This was important because she really hated having her head messed with with an undying passion.

"They remember..." Shion remembered all too well the times he had died. Even knowing you were going to wake up the next morning didn't make it less terrifying.

"Ah well den, dat ain't too bad mon. Back 'ome jood be gettin' back up most of da time. Ya be lucky if it be by da grace of one of yer own, a shaman, maybe a wielder of da light..." she paused and shook her head.

"Howevah, it be bad if ya be raised as one of da undead."

Well unless you were a Forsaken she supposed... But they all seemed so down and gloomy all the time.

"From what I heard, if you die in here, you wake up again from your bed. It ain't a pleasant thing." He pointed to his collar.

"Still not sure what they do completely too..."

So in her world death did not last forever? Shion had thought it was just a quirk of the tower, of the world they were in here. He hadn't heard of other worlds where death was not permanent.

"I'm not sure who raises us here, or if it is closer to your shamen or undead..." He didn't understand those terms at all.

"Oda dan be an intarestin' fashun statement eh?" Xue chuckled and shook her head.

"Death an' gettin' raised ain' much a deal as long as I ain't bein' raised as a ghoul. I don't be likin' ta be smellin' like a grave yanno?"

She paused and looks him over with a smirk.

"So what might ya be doin' mon? Looked like ya had somewhere ta be?"
