Summary: That first meal is always the hardest...

Like so many people, Luke woke up confused as all hell, not to mentioned panicked at not being on the road to Akzeriuth anymore. The notes left for him made no sense, other than the fact that he was kidnapped -- AGAIN! -- and had no way back home. Once he stopped grumbling about that long enough, another grumble issued from somewhere: his stomach.

So, naturally, he made his way to the cafeteria. Naturally, he plopped himself down, expecting to be fed like a king.

...naturally, he was disappointed.

"What the hell is this?!" he demanded as soon as the oatmeal was set down before him. He took up a spoonful, tilting it, and watching it plop sickly back into the bowl. Said bowl got pushed away from him really fast at that. "No way am I eating that! Bring me some real food! Now! Right now!"

Clearly, help needs to be provided here... but will you help the brat, or the poor person he's yelling at?

"I'm afraid you'll simply have to endure," said Sakuya, taking a seat near Luke. "If you do not, the consequences can be... unpleasant."

That may or may not have been understating the situation, depending on how unpleasant Luke found vomiting to be.

"Oy mon chillax." came a voice nearby as the trolless sauntered her way over and sat across from him to enjoy her own bowl of slop.

"All dat yellin' ain't gonna get ya noting. Ya gotta eat da oatmeal if ya wana be able ta do anyting else... It ain't too bad if ya go at it tinking it be da only or last meal ya gonna get."

She tapped her head with her spoon before grinning at him.

"Mind ovah mattah and all dat junk."

And then she ate a spoonful. Not a very pleased face, but she went ahead and downed it, and a few more before setting her spoon in the slop so she could let the ones she took settle.

"You'll throw up." Ventus' voice was quiet, passive. While the older of the two Ventus in the tower couldn't see the other, nor what was making the plop, he could have a guess as there wasn't, as far as he knew, much else that made that plop.

Just don't ask what the blindfolded derp has on his plate. It's standard fare from the cafeteria at any rate.

When Reno heard the kid yell for someone to get him something else, he just laughed, walking by with his own tray in hand.

From the sound of it this kid didn't need a warning about what would happen if they didn't eat the oatmeal. First timers acting up like that were always fun to watch, especially when they started feeling the pleasant sensations involved. It did get rather messy at times.

[The irritated voice is jarring, making Xion cringe slightly. A glance out of the corner of her eye shows someone she doesn't recognize - a fairly regular occurrence.

Seeing the staff he was talking to ignore his demands though, and the oatmeal, she realized. They'd just arrived. She sighed. Maybe... she was probably not the best person to handle this kind of thing... Still...

She'd just finished her own meal, so she picked up the plate, heading towards the sinks. As she passed his table, she paused, before saying, quietly.]

It's no good... you have to eat it. They... won't give you anything else until you do.

Luke turned a frown toward this... person. Creepy person.

"Unpleasant? What do you mean?"

...

[Okay, there's this... person...]

[...thing...]

[MONSTER?!]

[Luke leaped clear out of his seat, letting out a high pitched scream that would make any man with an adequate manhood cringe.]

Luke made a face at the person that spoke, wondering why the hell they would be walking around blindfolded.

"Of course I'm going to throw up. This stuff is nasty!"

...still, this guy had food... Out of curiosity, Luke reached over, waving a hand in front of his face to see if he was really blind.

Reno, you're a jerk. A serious jerk. Luke's head jerked toward the sound of the laughing, eyes narrowing at the other redhead.

"You think this is funny?!"

[Luke jumped slightly at the quiet voice, having been so preoccupied with his disgusting meal that he didn't notice her at first. He frowned... but from the way she was talking, apparently this was something pretty serious? He kept his voice low when he replied.]

Why the heck not?

Reno settled on a table nearby, plopping down into the chair he had selected. Turning around, he flashed a grin at Luke.

"Yep."

...Welp. Luke wasn't exactly expecting him to just... be that blunt. He fumbled awkwardly, trying to find a good response.

"W-well you shouldn't!"

Brilliant.

Pulling an innocent look, Reno popped a fork in his mouth and let it hang there for a moment. "Why not? You're a first timer, aren't ya?"

Luke gave a massive pout, glaring at Reno (and his plate of real food), before poking around at his oatmeal.

"You got a problem with that?"

The grin was back. Reno shrugged and popped another fork of food into his mouth.

"Not at all, slick. Just wondering what's wrong with your oatmeal there."

[Ok, Xue had to take a moment to process what had just happened. But after a few blinks she couldn't contain a mirthful laughter. She shook her head afterwards and grinned mischievously.]

Well if dat ain't da girliest scream I've evah 'eard I dunno wat is mon.

[She leaned back on her chair and crossed her arms under her chest, raising an eyebrow.]

But really mon, tell me 'ow ya really be feelin'. [She teased with a small laugh.]

"It's disgusting, of course!" Luke snapped, a bit of envy sneaking into his expression. "I wouldn't eat anything that makes noises like this!"

[Luke fumbled back a step when she moved, nearly tripping over himself.]

Your... you... and... talking... what?!

I see joo be ratha literate 'bout dem words. I can almost tell wat ya be tryin' ta say.

[Xue leaned forward with a predatory smirk.]

C'mon now mon, jus' a bit more an' maybe we can get a conversation going~

Oh, Reno's grin just got an iota larger there. "Yeah? That's too bad." Looking down at his plate, which contained some stuff he had cobbled together from the kitchen. "You wouldn't want to have part of this sandwich, would ya?"

[Luke backed up when she moved again... only this time he hit a chair, his legs getting tangled in it before he fell over, hitting the table behind him, before sliding off to the floor.]

...ow.

Luke's face brightened at that... but darkened almost immediately, suspicious.

"...you'd let me have it?"

[Xue shook her head and laughed, standing up a bit after and sauntering her way towards him in her usual hip swaying manner. Once she was nearby, she bent over slightly and offered a hand.]

Need a 'and der mon? I promise I won't bite... Unless ya be askin' me to~
