Characters: Miyabi (
kamikozy) and you!
Setting: Around the Tower
Format: Action to start off, but I can match if you prefer prose.
Warnings: Dorkiness. Also likely copious amounts of Eikichi.
Summary: Miyabi tries to distract herself from over-thinking the events she witnessed on the feeds from the Labyrinth. She's succeeding so far. Sort-of.
Meadow
[Miyabi is just wandering and picking flowers on this floor, and may or may not be weaving some of the smaller ones into bracelets or crowns as she wanders. She's also humming a song under her breath that is likely completely unrecognizable to anyone who isn't from P2-verse... or has listened to Gas Chamber.]
Media room
[Miyabi is settled near the music, sifting through it slowly as she listens to what the tower has to offer. A lot of it she's never even hear of, and a lot is from a time beyond her own- but considering her world was getting reset, she's not too worried about spoilers. Of course, she's more than willing to entertain any suggestions for what to listen to.]
[Miyabi is wandering past doors in the dormitory levels, seeing if there are any names she recognizes- and seeing if Persephone senses any more Persona-users around. It's an easy way to keep herself occupied and keep herself from thinking too hard about the events of the previous week.]
Room 3-12
[Okay.
Okay, she could do this.
She'd come to her decision a couple of days after her arrival- but the events of the labyrinth had made discussing this with him seem petty and unimportant by comparison. So she'd waited, made sure that people had actually come back from the Labyrinth more or less alright- though with some, that was easier to tell than others. But she could only push her own emotions aside for so long, and after putting it off for over a week, she'd finally made her way to Eikichi's room. She stood outside for a few moments before daring to knock, accompanying it with a hesitant call of-]
E-Eikichi-kun?
[- to make sure he was the one who answered and not one of his roommates.]

Room 3-12 SURPRISINGLY.
The knock on the door is surprising, so at the noise, he quickly pushes the large drawing pad into his trunk before answering. Oh. Oh this can't be too good. At least he's alone.]
Y-yeah! I'm in here!
[Wait no, that's not very polite. He runs to open the room for her, and she can see he's been so busy moping and not being his usual self that his hair isn't up in it's usual spiky look.]
H-hey.
shock!
...Hi. I, um...
[Her fingers curled into the fabric on his shoulder, and her cheeks reddened slightly, one of her shoes scuffing against the ground.]
I thought we should talk. About what we discussed when we first got here, I mean.
[She averted her eyes at that, focusing on the flower bracelet she'd left on one of her wrists.]
If... if you're up for it. I know this week has been kind of hard for everyone, but I- well. Putting it off just isn't going to make it any easier, you know?
no subject
Oh. That's that, then. He looks down on the fingers on his fabric and places his own hand over hers gently.]
S-sure. You wanna talk in here or we could go somewhere else if you want...
[He sounds like a small puppy leading itself right into the euthanasia chamber, but tries to smile, regardless.]
no subject
Well... maybe we should go someplace else? Just so nothing gets strange if one of your roommates shows up.
[She turned her hand beneath his so that she could curl her fingers around his hand, smiling a little hesitantly.]
Any idea about somewhere we're not likely to be interrupted?
no subject
to get bentthat they are from different worlds and....normally locking a door could fix it, but with a giant space dragon in the room he'd probably just break it down.Logically then...]
...maybe a nearby empty room?
[Clearly no one else would go into a room that wasn't there's and no one was in there...right?]
no subject
Yes- yes, okay.
[She pulled back, knowing she'd seen a room with an empty doorplate nearby, and tugged him in the right direction with only the slightest hesitation, reaching up to push her hair out of her face. She hesitated when they got to the right one- room 16, with empty rooms on either side for good measure- but slid the door open and flicked the lights on regardless. She stepped inside, letting go of his hand, and then turned, hands clasped behind her back, shoe scuffing idly once again. She waited until he was inside and the door was shut behind him before speaking again, fingers straightening out her uniform even though she didn't really need to fix a thing. She smiled at him again, a little more confidently this time, and raised a hand to toy with the bow at the front of her shirt.]
I'm sorry to make such a production out of this, Eikichi-kun. I just really needed to talk to you and... well. I didn't want anyone interrupting.
[Another nervous shift, and she hesitated before diving right in, eyes rising to his form, though she couldn't quite look him in the eyes.]
So I... I thought about what you said- as much as I could with everything that's been going on, at least- and well... [A tug at the bow on her shirt, nearly pulling it undone.] I don't think that I would be too angry with myself for wanting to date you, if I were the me from your world. Because if she were in this position with the Eikichi from my world, I'd want for her to love him in my place, since I couldn't do it myself. So... so if you'll let me- I'd like to love you in place of your Miyabi, Eikichi-kun.
no subject
She's getting ready to tell him all about it. Better get your speech ready, Eikichi. 'Yes I understand why you can't, it's alright don't worry I won't make this uncomfortable for either of us...' Wow he sure is going to sound pretty pathetic and without anything fattening to drown his sorrows in the cafeteria for that one time he could go for some sea salt ice cream--
--Oh!....Wait this is nothing like that he was expecting. Suddenly the nervous flickering stops and he just listens, willing through all that damn lack of sleep.
...then he nearly breaks down. He's...really touched about it. Oh Miyabi. No matter what world you're from, you manage to tug at his heart with just the right words. He can't even find the right words right now.
Instead...breathlessly, wordlessly, he gently takes her into a hug.
That's your answer.]

She can't really explain how happy she is that he's so alright with their arrangement, though now that she's alright with it too, she can understand how it was so easy for him to accept it in the first place. She feels like she could take on the world all over again, so long as he's still by her side- though she doesn't say as much aloud- or really think too much about it at all.
Instead, she lets out a content little hum and pulls back a little, looking up at him with a shy smile tugging at the corners of her mouth.]
I'm so happy to have you again, Eikichi-kun.
Meadow
He's interested in how this meadow is maintained, in such a natural state and though plant tissue isn't ideal for his research, it has its uses, where samples are concerned. He smiles at her. Her humming counters his own tendency to hum or whistle to himself.] Hello.
Quite a feat of engineering, isn't it?
no subject
Engineering? [She pauses to consider the word, looking around at the flowers carefully.] I don't know if you can say that about these... though if you mean this floor, then that's a whole other thing entirely!
no subject
Yes, of course I mean the floor. The flowers appear to be natural enough, though I thought I would run a few tests to determine their chemical composition. It might tell me a few things.
no subject
He'll protect her. And she'll protect him. It feels like he's whole again, and he's almost bursting at the seams from happiness.]
I-I'm happy too. I...
[You know...they never did...after all they kinda only talked at the temple. and hugged..it's not they really kissed before. Sure on the cheeks a couple of times but...should he...]
Your hesitation is most amusing my other self.
[HADES GDIT at least it was in his mind and not out loud. Bro, that wasn't fair you had...I don't know, so many years behind you, you knew how these things worked. Then again, you were a part of him. Maybe he could try it and see how it went. Would she protest? What if she suddenly called it all off because he wasn't doing it correctly? He suddenly felt tense and nervous and afraid, but still pushed on, if only to show Hades what's what (and unknowing doing EXACTLY what Hades predicted), brushing her chin gently up, bringing it closer and then...
First contact.]
no subject
[Well- she hadn't expected to run into someone who'd have that kind of knowledge, so her eyebrows rose in surprise, blinking down at the flowers and then back t him.]
Can you really do that?
no subject
You...?
He is truly as hopeless as you are sometimes, My Lord.
[Miyabi wants to laugh at Persephone's jibes at her own love's expense, but she's distracted quickly enough by Eikichi's fingers on her chin and the sudden tenseness of him against her. She blinks, surprised, but- she knows this, sort of. Knows what he's doing, why he's so hesitant- and it's as heartwarming now as it was the first time. She lets her eyes slip closed, hands returning to curl into his hair, and hums softly when his lips pressed against hers.
She lets the contact remain for a few moments, keeping one hand at the back of his head while the other wraps around his waist, and pulls back to beam a smile at him, cheeks coloring slightly from the kiss.
Then she leans up again and presses her mouth to his in earnest, careful to try not to move too fast for him to follow.]
no subject
[He nods.]
Certainly I can! I am a scientist. It's a simple matter for me. Perhaps I can find some information that may help us, or that was my thought.
[At least, that's his story for the moment, though his stated intention of researching the tower is sincere enough.]
Meadow
no subject
Um- hello, Kurosu-san. What brings you up here?
no subject
[Her smile wanes a little, but is no less sincere, and she bows a little in introduction.]
Either way, it's nice to meet you; I'm Miyabi Hanakouji. If you really think you can find some information to help people stuck here, I'd like to help, if I can.
no subject
Uh... N... Nothing really...
[Staring at the ground was suddenly a very interesting activity.] You're... Hanakouji, right...?
no subject
[Evasive, just like the Jun she had become familiar with in the last few hours before arriving at the tower. Prying wouldn't do her any good she knew- so she wouldn't. Not just yet, at least.]
Mmmhmm- Hanakouji Miyabi. It's nice to re-meet you sort-of, Kurosu-san.
no subject
You... have a Persona? [Might as well get down to business, at least. He certainly didn't remember this girl having a Persona before.]
no subject
Mm-hmm, I do...! Her name is Persephone. Is yours still Chronos?
[She had already come to terms with the fact that not many people would be from a world where she had a persona- so she was more than alright with being asked about it.]
no subject
--Sorry. [And then he brought his attention back to Miyabi, looking up a bit, and nodding slightly.] Yes, I still have Chronos..
[Who was probably sighing at him a bit, let's be honest.]
no subject
But you know? That person was also himself. So was it really that different? It was like his shadow almost. And that was a part of him.
...okay this was getting a little too mind-blowing for him to think about it properly....the kiss that is. The thinking he could do pretty well, although did he really want to do that now?
No.
No he did not.
Whatever she was doing, he was appreciating it, and trying to keep up. Almost lost in the wild tempo he closed the distance between them even more, feeling his cheeks getting red-hot again. But it was a good feeling. Like a burst of energy.
Even if the world ended tomorrow (again), he wouldn't really care. Right now he was on cloud nine.]
no subject
It's okay- I don't mind, really. I think it's interesting that you know so much about so many things.
[Persephone isn't much better- sometimes she really wishes her other self was more assertive.]
But it's good you still have him with you- I think that if we're going to be stuck in a place like this, at least they left our other selves alone, don't you think?
no subject
[And a nod!] Yes, you too-- I don't know what I'd do here without him.
