001 * Arrival
Characters: Vicente and open
Setting: Dorm, then cafeteria
Format: Action, but will follow your format
Summary: A Dark Brother finds himself in a very strange place. Confusion ensues.
Warnings: Possible talk of murder for now.
[After one of his usual nightmares, Vicente awakens. But instead of the dark stone walls of the Sanctuary, he sees something quite different.
Confused, the vampire sits up and looks at his surroundings. This is definately not the Sanctuary. And what in Oblivion is he wearing?
He sees the note on the bedside table and reads it. It speaks of how his world has been destroyed.]
If this is someone's idea of a joke, it is not a very funny one.
[He gets out of bed and looks around, spying the trunk. He opens it and breathes a sigh of relief when he sees his familiar dark clothing. Nobody is around, so he changes out of the white and into his own clothes. That's better. He searches through the trunk, but alas does not see his claymore.
It's only when he puts his necklace on that he realizes there's something around his neck. He searches for a mirror to look at himself and sees the collar filled with green liquid. He tries to pull it off, but the thing's on tight. Very well, he'll find a way to remove it later.
Might as well explore. He takes a careful peek outside, making sure there's no sunlight getting in, and then steps out and begins walking around.]
[He was directed here by a fellow prisoner when asked where he may obtain a meal.
Is he suppossed to eat this? The least they could do is put nutmeg or fruit in it. Well, hopefully it will be less lethal than Antionetta's cooking experiments.]

oatmeal!
[ His reluctance to eat his oatmeal has been noticed by one (1) viera. ]
Fran!
What gormet cuisine.
[He takes a delicate spoonful, but gives no more reaction than a quiet sound of distaste.]

[He grudingly takes another spoonful.]
Forgive my ignorance, but I don't believe I have seen one of your race before.

I am known as a viera -- my name, however, is Fran.
no subject
I have never heard of viera.
no subject
You are not from Ivalice. It is unsurprising.
no subject
[Either it's a continent he's never heard of or one of these "alternate worlds" he's been hearing about.]

His first reaction was disbelief, after all, hadn't he ordered the Purification of the Sanctuary? Or could it be possible his Silencer had failed in his duties and let the others live? True, it was entirely possible, he had been preoccupied with other matters.
The second reaction was one of a small sense of relief at having one of the Family in this strange place. Vicente had long been absolved and there was no reason to treat one of his own with suspicion.
"By Sithis, it is you." Lucien made his way over to Vicente from the side, knowing that surprising a brother from behind was a quick way to visit the Dread Father.
no subject
Thank Sithis someone he actually knew was here as well. Perhaps Lucien could help him make sense of this place.
"Brother," The vampire whispered.

Oh, there was that porridge that marked new arrivals, as few people seldom ate it if there were other offerings outside of that. It was fairly poor porridge, in his opinion. "Let me rephrase. What happened before you arrived here, brother?"
Sitting next to him, Lucien waited for Vicente's story. Perhaps some explanations as to the fact he was alive would come, and he was rather curious.
no subject
Swirling his spoon through the barely-touched porridge, Vicente replid, "Our newest Sibling went to see you, after you sent that letter." He was mildly curious as to what it was about, but knew better than to pry.

And so, he found himself returning here, idly grabbing one of the nourishment-filled bars and taking a seat nearby. Naoki didn't look particularly pleased about the food, but nourishment was nourishment. There was a fairy sitting on his elbow, and he broke off part of his bar to offer it to her, eating quietly. This was, strangely enough, not the most bizarre thing out of the entire situation, with the markings running down his back and front skin. He didn't wear a shirt, just a small part of shorts and some running shoes.
When he noticed Vicente and gave him a acknowledgement in the form of a small head bow. He hadn't done so much when he was stuck in the Vortex World. Seeing so many humans (or what he assumed were humans, considering) despite the situation was slowly starting to warm him up. This might not be Tokyo reborn, but it was certainly unique for its own reasons.

Picture this; a human male of 6'1" high, bright red eyes, a blue spiky hairdo, black lips, black eyeliner, black nails and white powder finely applied to his face. He was wearing a greenish outfit that had a black almost-skirt adorned with a golden pattern. Eikichi was aiming to looking like a Visual Kei member, but he had no idea he probably looked like the world's most terribly dressed vampire right now.
With blue hair.
As he passed him by the rooms, he gave Vincent a friendly hand wave. Most people here more to the type to wave anyway.
"Hey! I don't think Michel's seen you 'round the tower. New here, right?"

The small creature at his elbow garnered a little more of his attention. She was humanoid, but tiny and with wings. How strange.
no subject
"...Yes, I am."

Naoki would fit pretty well in Mournhold.Pixie obviously had a 'being watched' radar as a few seconds after he does, she turned towards him, smiling. Manners, on the other hand, were not something she did often, as she flew up, dropping the remaining piece of the bar in Naoki's hand before flying over."Hello!" At least she seemed friendly and polite, if a little excitable (If a lot exciteable, Naoki would argue).

"Forgive my staring," The vampire said.
no subject
"Forgive me, brother, if I do not seem myself. For far too long I have been without the Brothers and Sisters. But what is time between the Family? I assume you have read the letter that was placed by your bed. I believe that the beings who have brought us here are sincere in what they have told us."
no subject
The vampire might have been a murderer, but he was nothing if not loyal to his Family. If Lucien believed the letter to be true, then Vicente trusted his word.
"How long have you been here?"

He ran his hand over his face as he processed this information. If this was true, then their Family was gone. Ocheeva, Gogron, the entire Black Hand, all gone.

Looking back at the Speaker, the vampire asked, "Is there anything I should be aware of regarding this prison? For that matter, do you know the purpose of these?" He pointed to the collar around his neck.
no subject
Oh, there was one last thing, and even Lucien had a problem with it, considering that it rendered their profession completely useless. What was an assassin when his kills just returned as good as new the next day? "Perhaps the most important thing to consider is that people do not seem to die here."
no subject
At Lucien's second statement, the vampire had to blink with surprise. "That is ubsurd."
no subject
Another thought occurred to him. "Ah, yes, I almost forgot. We shall have to arrange for your needs."
no subject
Fixing his red eyes on Lucien again, Vicente nodded. "Yes, this simply will not sustain me." He pointed to the porridge. "The trunk at the foot of my bed contains two bottles of blood, but that obviously will not last forever." Plus, blood was always more savory and beneficial when it was fresh.

"The people seem as if they would react just as badly as Tamriel at large would. I recommend checking on the hospital in the floor above for an emergency supply. Do not fear, however, I would not let a brother starve."
no subject
"Perhaps I will investigate this hospital this week then."

"Stare all you want, I'm not going to complain!" ...At least it wasn't some of Naoki's other companions. "Never saw a member of the Fairy clan before?"
The Demi-fiend, for this part, finished eating the piece Pixie had dropped in his hand before coming a little closer to Vicente, offering him a small wave. The fairy flew back at him and sat on his shoulder.

The vampire just nodded at her silent companion.
