Jason's pod would be the conditions during the Labyrinth, and the month of nutrition bars if my deductions are correct.

By the conditions of this competition, Dax's victory would be the most beneficial to all of us. Unfortunately, with the conditions we're faced with, us assuring Jason's downfall may be borderline impossible, as his experiments are no doubt attempts to assure his own victory.
