🌙 01 - Introduction
Characters: Dojima and anyone
Setting: Room 3-18 first, cafeteria next, then the infirmary, then back to his room. He can be interacted with on his way to and from any of these as well.
Format: No matter
Summary: Intro post! Dojima refuses to believe his world is gone, explores a bit, looks for painkillers and goes back to the dorm to think.
Warnings: None yet.
Room 3-18
After Enoch's departure, Dojima picked up the two notes again, his mind still reeling. "Be happy", it said. What bullshit. How could he be happy without Nanako? Especially given that she was still in the hands of that psycho, Namatame! That made his blood boil just thinking about it! He angrily crumpled the letter and the condescending instructions into a tight ball and tossed them against the far wall. It didn't bring Nanako back, but it made him feel a little bit better.
Floor 1
After finding himself unable to dress on his own on account of not being able to bend over, Dojima resigned himself to leave his room in that ridiculously skin-tight sci-fi outfit he was wearing to make his way to the cafeteria. Suspiciously, there was a bowl of whitish glop bearing his name waiting for him...
Floor 2
Thank god for direction signs. Dojima was all too eager to get something to relieve his pain, so he headed for the infirmary. He wasn't so hot on seeing yet another doctor and nurses, but the growing pain in his chest and back were reason enough to risk it.

cafeteria~
Hey, you better eat it before someone else does.
^^
On the other hand, the kitchen looked empty and the advice was sound. Maybe they had to compete for food? "Grab a bowl and spoon," he said as he picked up the bowl and headed for a nearby table. Even in competition, for now he didn't feel very hungry so sharing was an option. The kid looked famished.
:D
He was prepared to leave if, say, the man wanted some food privacy (if such a thing existed) but the open invitation was an unexpected blessing. It would have been stupid (and thoughtless) to refuse an invitation to join in a meal, that much he was sure about. Whether that was his stomach thinking for him or not, he wasn't sure.
Rin followed him, spoon and bowl in hand. "Thanks, but are you sure? You won't get a lot afterward..." If he was taught anything by his guardian, it was that one kind act deserved another. "I'll help you around this place. There are monsters on some of the floors, so I can watch your back for you."

Once seated, he poured a little under half of his bowl into the kid's before he began picking at the mixture. It was bland, nearly tasteless, and it made him feel a little queasy. He really missed Nanako's cooking right now.
"No food, monsters on the floors... this is confirming more and more that this isn't the work of a saviour," he thought out loud between two bites of oatmeal. "Have you been here for long?"
no subject
He listened carefully to his musings. A statement like that didn't need a verbal confirmation. Rin nodded and went right on enjoying his share until he was expected to reply. He finished the last of the oatmeal before too long, scrapping up even the bits that stuck to the bowl. "...I don't know. It was a completely different month before I got here. About three weeks maybe, and the only food around were those bowls of oatmeal."
Infirmary
Hello. Can I help you?
no subject
He nodded again, slowly, as he listened to the kid answer his question after nearly licking his bowl clean. Clearly he had been much more hungry than Dojima. "Whoever "saved" us, they're pretty damn twisted, letting young people like you go hungry."
Sorry for delay!
It's alright!
And off he runs to find some.

The fact he seemed in pain wasn't a good sign, if anything. If Dojima turned around, he would find a seventeen year old teenager, with a sword like Yu's...and also a sub-machine gun strapped to his back.
"Do you need help?"
no subject
"Is the pain really bad?"

[Cafeteria!]
As he steps into the cafeteria, however, scrounging around for whatever food he can find, he can see that this isn't the only thing from home that the Tower's decided to bring in. He almost can't believe it.]
D-Dojima-san...? Is that you...?
:DDD

[Well, apart from a certain goddess disguised as a gas station attendant. But Dojima doesn't need to know about that at all. Nope nope nope.]

He leans back in his seat, mostly content with the small meal he's been granted. "...We haven't even seen them, whoever they are." He hadn't noticed how hungry he really was until the meal. It made him even more grateful that this person was kind enough to share.
"They didn't even say what they "saved" us from, if anything." As far as Rin knew, his world was perfectly fine. He didn't want to consider a possibility where the ones in charge were right.
no subject
"You'd think if they had saved us, they'd want to meet us." Unless of course they hadn't, or if they were responsible for the destruction of worlds.
no subject
"You arrived at a bad time. Usually it's not this terrible. But they dragged a lot of us away somewhere and whoever remained in the tower has been left to our own devices. There are monsters everywhere..."

Goddamn, Adachi's not really sure how to feel about this. But for now, he'll just play it off, laughing awkwardly.]
That might not be an option, Dojima-san. It doesn't look like there's much in the way of food here.

If you ever spot Nanako, bring her to me. I'm living in room 3-18. Can I trust you to do that?

I'm Ryotaro Dojima, from Inaba. You are? *Better make friends with the kid with the machine gun.*

"Naoya Toudou, lived in Mikage-cho before moving to American to study. I know your nephew...but Yu never told me you were a Persona user as well."
Seriously Yu. THAT WAS AN IMPORTANT DETAIL.

It'd make sense for a captor to see its captives. It was pretty suspicious that it hadn't happened yet. "Yeah, you'd think! But I bet they're the sort of people who like to play crazy games."

"I can sense other Persona users. It seems to be a skill that was lost over the years, perhaps due to different methods of acquiring the power."

"Not quite. Have you heard of the incident in Mikage-cho involving accidents in SEBEC and Takahisa Kandori's death in 1996?" He had no idea if Dojima would, considering it wasn't that close to Inuba, but he did know it had been on the news before he left for America. The whole part about his team's involvement was a mystery to everyone but themselves, obviously. For all Naoya knew, that entire incident might have stayed a complete mystery since then.

"There was no TV World. Rather a machine Kandori built in the hopes of attaining godhood using the dreams of a single girl, Maki Sonomura, caused another world to open up and summon demons..."
Not Shadows. Demons.
no subject
"Huh. That's... way out there, all right. Just as much as a world inside the TV. No wonder the police never figured it out... But, you said demons? Not Shadows?"
no subject
no subject
"The usage of the machine caused the connection with the demon world to be weakened, and they invaded this Other World, attacking everything in sight. It was only due to the power of our Personas that we survived."

"So Personas can be used to fight anything? I mean... I'm sorry you had to go through this."
Aaaa how did I miss this???
"I'm not too eager to find out exactly what kind of crazy games they wish to play with us,to be honest," he said, not reassured at all.

Sure thing, sir. You can count on me!
