[Suspision was a bad thing, it crept into your thoughts and stuck there. Despite all you tried to reason it away with. Taiki really didn't like being suspicious on top of everything else that had happened but he watched Kuja, wondering if he had voted again or if he had remembered...]

[Kuja might have withdrawn into himself, but he wasn't oblivious; he could feel the stares on him, especially from one he had trouble with in the past.]

Oh, quite well, considering the circumstances. I can deal with boredom well enough, especially with the alternatives that come to mind.

[Sometimes "interesting" meant only pain. Kuja would rather be bored than that, even if it wasn't usually a possibility. Ahh, he had been so spoiled on Gaia! Shame that was over now.]

This whole experience has been utterly dreadful.

[Kuja gives Taiki a warm smile - he's even using the right muscles to make it a "real" smile, instead of the polite pasted-on kind.]

I know this must be very frightening, especially with Tara... She was a very nice young woman, but at least she went quickly and without pain. I almost envy her, since she's in the Tower now.

No, she was a kind person, from what I could tell.

[Kuja only knew her for a short time, but she seemed a very honest sort of person.]

I wonder who could vote for such a friendly person.

I don't know.... I don't know who would do such a cruel thing everyone seems so nice... [At his words any suspicion of Kuja left him, Taiki was glad that he had kept his promise after all.]

Once this is over, maybe you could find her again. I'm sure she'd like to know how much she was missed.
