Setting: backdated to 6/30; idek, some empty hallway?
Format: Action?
Summary: Riku transforms back to himself. Someone decides to pay him a visit.
Warnings: Xigbar trolling deserves its own warning. Other than that, I think we are good?
[Riku can't really remember being just so glad to be called in for check-ups, to have his collar cleared and being so aware of how the flare of power and strength and the constant push of darkness returned into his control again.
He's still holding Ansem's appearance when he leaves, but his head is clear, and it won't take much more than a minute to change back to himself - but really, that's nothing he needs to show any of the tower personal.
Instead he waits until he is out and away and has found an empty hall way and is somewhat sure that there is nobody close enough to stumble across him. Only then he pulls back the hood, before retying the black cloth of his blindfold and just as he is tightening the knot, he can already feel the change take place. It's much more subtle than the other way around; darkness is drawn inwards and sealed right behind his heart again, more and more and more with every step he takes down the hallway until steel-gray hair is turned back silver and tanned skin pale again.
There's maybe just a tiny sigh of relieve escaping as he looks down at his hand, flexing his (his) fingers twice - he hadn't been entirely sure if he'd manage to return to be himself. Next time he might not be so lucky.
He shoves his hand into his coat pockets as he continues his way. He has some people to check up on, now that he doesn't need to fear hurting them anymore.]
