Summary: Backdated to earlier this week. Kakine tests to see if his powers are working, it fails terribly for him, and then he pouts and sulks in public like a sad, pathetic little man.

Room 2-06

[After immediately waking up and checking the network, Kakine walks back into the room, slams the door, and stands in a corner. He's crossing his arms and seems to be concentrating on something, and after about a minute he mutters to himself.]

...It's never been this hard to produce before. Not since...

[He stops speaking abruptly, and after a few more moments of concentration, he ends up levitating a few feet off the ground.]

Floor 38

[Kakine is leaning against a wall casually, looking over his shoulder to see out. In fact, he's been in that same position for a while now: over an hour, only shifting slightly occasionally and cursing under his breath periodically. He seems almost completely oblivious to his surroundings. Approach the strange muttering man?]

[ Amalia had been trying to stay off of the floors where she had been told that monsters lurked, and so Floor 38 was becoming one of her regular destinations as she tried to absorb everything that had happened since her arrival.

But on arriving to the lounge area, she can't seem to find her favourite seating. Seeing someone nearby, she decides to ask him! What could go wrong? ]

Excuse me. Have you seen a round blue cushion chair with flowers on it?

[This is a special kind of anger. This is "little kid on the verge of a temper tantrum" anger. It's kind of pathetic.]
