As Majima came ever so nearer, the Elf retreated. He could tell that this could end rather badly for him if he blatantly stated the truth here and now. This scene before him was nothing other than a dream, a dream that the young yakuza obviously believed was real. The marchwarden knew he would have a difficult time getting Majima to believe that this dream world was nothing other than a dream.

"I have spied upon your conversations earlier but it was quite unwillingly." Now backed into a wall, Haldir stood there awaiting for whatever would come next. "Surely you do remember me, Majima Goro. This is not the first we've met but you act as if you remember nothing of me." Looking a tad curious now, the Elf tilted his head somewhat to the right and stared at Majima almost pleadingly.
