Summary: Aqua's disappeared, and Mr. Abandonment Issues is freaking out over it.

[He'd made sure to check on all of them. Every single one, multiple times. And yet, one is missing. He'd hoped she'd died, and that he would find her revived soon enough. And yet, she's not there. And that's not something Sora can handle.

So he's currently a bundle of emotions, balled up inside as he paces, fretting, in a corner of the cafeteria. He's trying not to explode, trying to be good and deal with his emotions and not let thoughts of abandonment take hold. But that's much easier said than done...]

[Cross wasn't much for celebrating currently. With this whole ordeal of the whale and hearing that people died over the network has left him in a bit of a depressive mood.

When he wanders into the cafeteria he soon takes notice of a boy around his age in a corner, huddled in a ball. Well that deserves some attention. Pushing his own problems aside for the moment, Cross approaches the boy. Kneeling down to him, Cross reaches out to rest a hand on his shoulder.]

Hey, are you okay?

*That particular corner happens to be where Enoch stashed the journals that he saved from his chest when the tower began to shake. So when he retrieves them, naturally, he notices the pacing kid. While mostly he just wants to go back to his dorm and sleep now that it's there, he can't help but worry about this panic. In this tower, there are many reasons to do so, none of which should be a worry of a child.*

Are you all right?

[ Aerith had never been that good at reading emotions, as she couldn't keep a clear check on her own let alone anyone else's, but when she spotted this pacing, het up young man she felt compelled to go and talk to him.

Aerith was a sweet woman and although she could be a bit selfish at times right now her intentions were relatively pure, relatively selfless.

She spoke, a warmth to her tone and the hint of a smile on her face. ]

You'll wear out your shoes walking like that, why don't you come and try some of the food they've put out here, I bet you there's something you like.

[Suzaku had eaten and was looking around for people, checking on those he knew. Looking for Lelouch who he hadn't seen since the fighting had started and he had brought him down from the lower levels.

He spotted Sora in the corner and went over, grabbing some food and water on the way. He approached him carrying the plate and holding out the water.] Are you alright?

[It's not hard to sense the young ball of emotions. Darkness is practically oozing off of him as it is. For the moment his desire for a meal is forgotten as he rounds on the teenager, approaching slowly to give him a chance to notice.]

What troubles you, my boy?

[It's been a long few days, and all Zack really wants to do is get some food and then go find somewhere to curl up and sleep. But when he sees Sora pacing like that, those plans shift and he walks over, clearly concerned.]

Hey. What's wrong?

Does it look like I'm okay!?

[He hadn't meant to snap. No really. And he even takes a few breaths to calm himself.]

...Sorry. A friend of mine is missing.

[reversedestiny]

[Sora's no stranger to the Tower and its tricks. He's been here months. He won't stop pacing]

...A friend is missing.

[reversedestiny]

I can't. A friend of mine is missing.

[He won't snap, he can't snap. If he snaps, then all the emotions will come spilling out.]

[...He'll blink a bit at the offered water, but take it. He can trust Suzaku. Suzaku is a friend.]

...I can't find Aqua. Anywhere.

[He'll notice all right. And since Xehanort is one of the few positive figures he associates with Not Leaving as of yet, and is not afraid to bare his emotions in front of... Sora will actually close the distance. There's no hugging yet, hands shoved into pockets.]

...I can't find Aqua.

[Oh hi, Zack. He'll offer a weak smile, trying not to snap. Because he's frustrated and panicking and he's not sure what to do.]

...I can't find a friend of mine.

[While not personally upset by any stretch of means, this is something of a setback in terms of things the boy isn't privy to. However, it is his duty to be a Good not!Parent in as far as keeping Darka on a short leash... and thus he lets his face fall into an expression of cautious sympathy.]

I fear, perhaps, that she may have left then... were you close?

[Can't find a friend, huh? That explains a lot, and Zack can sympathize. Don't mind him, Sora; he's just going to try and help now.]

Where have you looked so far?

Missing? Did they go missing in the attack?

[ Aerith was known for her oblivious and incredibly obvious questions. She paused a moment before adding ]

Are you waiting for them here or are you going to go and look for them?

"Missing"? *Dax had mentioned he wouldn't do anything for the rest of the month...so it probably wasn't another experiment. Could they be dead and awaiting resurrection? Enoch had noticed he tended to lose a day when he died...*

...For how long?

[He watches to make sure he drinks the water and hold out the plate. After what just happened he needs to keep his strength up. He frowns at his words, he didn't know Aqua well, just that she was a fighter who used magic and a friend of Sora's.] You have checked the infirmary?

[Cross jumps a little at the other boy snapping at him, but when he looked up, Cross was a little shocked. Wasn't this Sora? That boy he met in the cafeteria awhile ago? It kind of hurt to see Sora yell at him like that, because it didn't seem like the kid he met at all. But he tried to remain calm as well.

Hearing the explaination though, Cross can only begin to imagine how scary that is.]

Oh...I'm sorry about that, Sora.
