[Meredy has read the letter in Melnics, had her initial panic over it, and found her companion Quickie in her trunk, which had almost immediately placated her to some level. If Quickie was here - why was he in a trunk?? - then her other friends may also be here. That gave her some hope after reading a letter that basically told her their attempt to save Eternia had failed, even though she was sure they had succeeded.

So now, dressed in her own clothes (because that white thing she woke up in was so dull and lifeless), she's venturing out into the tower to explore and search for her friends with Quickie bouncing at her side.

And that's where you come in. Find her while she's roaming around and hassle her or simply be standing or sitting around- she'll come to you.]

[Fluttershy was standing on the ground on that pretty floor with all the rainbows and waterfalls, once again staring longingly up at the flowers on the ceiling. She couldn't fly to meet them and being ground bound made her feel uneasy. But she really wanted to see them, at least for a little while]

[Fawkes is in the library, tromping around and looking for things to read. Periodically, his heavy steps cause some books on the shelves that were looser than others to fall off, though he's quick to recover them.]
