[ Gandalf remains silent as Xehanort recites those few lines of poetry, respecting his sadness at the sorry state of the library. To be honest, Gandalf thinks that's a bit over-exaggerated. In the end, these are only books. Lifeless possessions that can be rewritten on and replaced on the long-term. Gandalf would rather reserve the poetry and tears for the dead, or more wisely, for the livings.

But as another scholar- As an erudite with many interests, be it in history, magic but also the sciences at times, Gandalf can understand his sorrow to an extent. Thus he respects it and nods after Xehanort's words. ]


Many lifetimes of works, written by people all as different as the lands they came from.

[ He takes one of the few books that has gone through the attack mostly undamaged, save for a few scratches. ]

Yet not all has been lost. From what remains, with hard work what has been lost can be returned.
