The network wasn't actually all that interesting since most people didn't just sit around in the library or the dorms on the computer (though some people did!). So activity was pretty slow. Thus Jade did have much of an excuse for sitting in front of one of the computer terminals, picking away at a hapless piece of bread she'd received from the cafeteria.

Though again, since there wasn't much activity, she did divert her attention to the stranger that was walking around, and she leaned back in her chair to lean her head back and look at him upside down.
