(no subject)

Characters: Axel Almer and YOU (AKA: Open)
Setting: Couple of places.
Format: Anything. Will work with what you prefer.
Summary: Rather than complain, ask questions, or do anything else that might peg him as new, Axel tries to act 'normal'. Yeah...
Warnings: Language.

Room 2-10
[Talk about a wakeup call. Nothing like waking up in a place that isn't your own bed and being bombarded with new information.

World destroyed? Already knew that thanks to Beowulf. But that was already an incident that was finished, though he didn't really hide the anger he still felt about it. Real easy to catch onto that.

Sleep here, get food, use the network; yeah, yeah, yeah. It was like following orders in the military except that was also a time that was long gone. No sense in complaining or whining until he got a grip on the full situation.

Being collared and seemingly tagged, that was completely different.]

Shit. Alright, Axel. Survival training was never a joke. Assess your resources before you go acting like a moron.

[Rule number one that was always pounded into the skulls of trainees. Axel was far too experienced to be one but he never had a situation where he needed to suddenly survive on his own either. No comrades meant back to relying on himself.]

Cafeteria
[Urgh. The food he got definitely wasn't great. Instead, he'd call it....military in quality. Oh boy, if the rest of the stay was going to be like that, he would feel right at home. He laughed at himself sardonically and ran a hand through his hair.]

It's just like being back in the army. Nothing like army rations, let me tell you.

[He had no idea who he was spouting that to nor did he care. Conversation would be better than simmering in silence. Get his mind elsewhere and he would be less prone to doing something stupid. Focusing his emotions elsewhere, he could get on with whatever mission he had. Right now, that focus was whoever was in listening distance.]
