Romeo grinned and nodded and smiled softly when miss France kissed his forehead. "You would have liked him miss! He would have known how to make a cake without exploding it! He was very very clever and could read really complicated books." He smiled again his eyes shining.

"He was braver than me, so much braver and stronger. His Padrone was so much crueler than even mrs Rossi was to me but he never complained even when he was really sick or starving." He did not know what had made him tell miss France this, probably because she had complimented him when Alfredo was the one who should be complimented because Romeo could never quite live up to the former leader of the Black Brothers. But telling someone about Alfredo was nice, it made Romeo happy to remember even if it made him sad as well.
