The Doctor is [THROWING A FIT] October 10-13th

Characters: Edward Richtofen and YOU!
Setting: Room 2-02, collecting candy various places around the tower, and Floor 26 (the morgue).
Format: Action to start, but I'll match you.
Summary: Richtofen's dressed up as something he absolutely hates, and he proceeds to throw a (very loud) hissyfit over it. Room 2-02 is backdated to the 10th, but the other options can take place any day from the 10th to the 13th.
Warnings: Descriptions of corpses being dissected, America-bashing (IC of course), and probably some swearing in the tags (English and German). Will update if needed.

Room 2-02
[On the morning of the 10th, Richtofen can be heard giving a shriek shortly after he wakes up. It's perhaps loud enough to alert all of dormitory level 2. It's high-pitched and ungodly, and the shriek trails off into heavily German-accented words, frantic as can be.]

What- What is this?! Get it off of me! Get it off, I said!

[Anyone in 2-02, or anyone who happens to peek their head in, will see Richtofen jumping around next to his bed, swiping at his clothes like he's covered in fire ants. Surprise, surprise! He's one of the lucky Tower inhabitants who gets to participate in the lovely costume party.

And he's dressed as a Marine. A zombie Marine.

The Tower has really outdone itself this time. It's combined something he hates - Americans - with something he loves to kill - zombies. He doesn't mind the make-up and latex on his face, designed to look like his flesh is rotting away (it's cheesy and not too well-made, but it gets the point across), nor does he mind the fake blood that stains his skin from stage make-up gashes all over his body. What he minds is the uniform, the very same one worn by his former teammate, a proud American soldier who Richtofen would love to make drown in a pool of his own blood and tears.

He hates Americans.

He hates Dempsey.

He hates this stupid Tower.]

Around the Tower
[He tried taking it off. He tried shredding it. He tried putting his clothes on over it. But no matter what he did, that stupid outfit would just pop right back on him, and when he refused to play along with the childish (and American) candy-gathering game, it tightened so much that Richtofen thought it might choke the life out of him. He was almost prepared to let it do just that, but the thought of dying again didn't sit well with him.

So he'll be around the Tower every day, grabbing candy and shoving it into his (stupid, stupid) pail whilst grumbling under his breath. Every once in a while, he'll stop to shout, making sure everyone in the vicinity knows just how displeased he is with this situation.]

Ridiculous... This is a child's game... I hate all of you! Stupid...

The Morgue
[Thoroughly pissed off, Richtofen can sometimes be found relaxing in the morgue. And his idea of "relaxation" is mumbling to himself whilst angrily dissecting a corpse. When he's not pulling handfuls of organs out of the dead bodies he finds, he can be found pacing from one end of the morgue to the other, brandishing a scalpel theatrically as he talks to himself. Occasionally, he tries to tug at his costume, but at this point, he's resolved himself to the fact that he won't be able to get out of it.]

[On the morning of the 10th, Minato wae up earlier than he wanted. Why?

One of his roommate's screaming was the cause.

Getting out of his bed, Minato went over and just...stare.]

...Richtofen-san?

[Richtofen doesn't seem to hear Minato at first. He tugs at the cloth of the Marine uniform and looks down at it, wrinkling his nose in disgust.]

Look at me. Look at me! I'm dressed like... like... [He lets the clothes fall back into place and suddenly whips his head around to stare at Minato, wide-eyed.] ...an American!

[He says it like it's the absolute worst thing in the world.]

I can see that, Richtofen-san. [He somewhat recognise the uniform him his textbooks.] And you can't take it off?

[It's a rhetorical question and he knows it.]

...At least you can still walk with ease.

[Yeah, don't mind the roommate who was still silent during that other conversation, just sitting on his bed and staring at the "boots" that came with his own... "costume".]

Don't patronize me, child! I'm trying.

[Richtofen curls his lip in disgust and turns away, trying to undo the buttons with fervor. In response, his outfit feels even tighter, and his fingers slip over the clasps without undoing any of them.

He gives a frustrated yell, then kicks his bedframe.]

[Richtofen's calmed down only slightly, his chest heaving and his head swimming. He's getting a bit lightheaded from all this screaming.]

But I will walk around feeling like a gigantic fool! [He tugs at the cuffs of his sleeves and shivers visibly.] Ugh, it's like he's back here all over again.

"He"? [He looks over, eyes yellow because of the lenses in his mask. Apparently they felt the need to make him look even more like the part. That's when he notices.]

...You should sit down. [Yeah, he can... kind of see that look, roomie. Even with the makeup.]

He is that brainless moron, Dempsey. He showed up here a while after I did, but I don't know what happened to him. [He raises his voice again.] And good riddance! I wish that had been the end of it!

[He lifts his shoulder and sniffs it, then wrinkles his nose.]

Urgh, I smell like hamburgers and an over-inflated ego...

[He's probably just being overdramatic about that part. Er- He's being overdramatic about everything, but you know what I mean.]

...I see. [Should he mention one of his friends from Tokyo was an American foreign exchange student? ...Probably not a good idea right now.]

Calm down. I'm fairly sure an over-inflated ego doesn't have a scent...

[Yep. Completely deadpan.]

How am I supposed to calm down? I feel dirty! Dirty!

[He crosses his arms and rubs his hands over his biceps, but only for a second. Touching the uniform's sleeves with his ungloved hands sends him into another fit, and he rubs his palms together frantically and then wrings them out.]

Eughh...

Because whether we like it or not, we're apparently stuck wearing these.

[Sigh. Why is the teenager the one with common sense right now?] That, and I'd rather not find out what it means by 'or else.'

[Richtofen scoffs. He'd barely given his letter a glance during his earlier frenzy, and he doesn't intend to heed its warning now.]

They dare threaten the doctor?

[He crosses his arms, hands balled into fists so that less of his skin will be touching the Marine uniform. Onto the bed he plops, sitting rigidly straight.]

I refuse! This disgusting candy-fest sickens me. I have no intention of fattening myself up like some petulant American brat!

[Then he looks up at the ceiling and shouts, addressing the Tower administrators.]

Do you hear me? No intention! I will sit right here and find a way to burn this thing off of me if I have to!

[Loud enough to alert dorm floor 2? You got it. Reno was irritated. And slightly hung over. He had a mild headache, anyway. But mostly irritated. And wearing a moogle outfit. Not the nice full on suit but a really cheaply made white outfit with wings and moogle ears.

The irritation is from having to listen to that screaming from down the hall. And the costume, of course.

So he's at the door to 02-02 and banging on it lightly.]

Ritchofen! Keep it down in there! Some people were sleepin', dammit!

[Nesir had soon found that this tower; like the temple she had come from liked making you do pointless work for no reason.

She had been assigned as a morgue worker; she had reported set off to work. In her rediculous costume because it still wouldn't come off.

The first body had been... interesting to find. Not that Nesir hadn't seen a dead body before, but seeing one randomly in a cave was unexpected. And there were more.

What kind of barbaric place this was that they just left their dead to rot in caves, instead of actually letting their spirits free to return. She didn't have anyone to ask, she wondered if they were prisoners... Potentially shadow sworn... This being some kind of punishment.

Hearing sounds from one of the caves she went to explore, drawing her knife with her left hand, she stepped into the entrance and watched the man pull organs out of one of the body.

Another kind of ritual?] What do you be doing? [The voice might be unexpected but it definitely wasn't accusing. It was interested and curious.]

[Even though the current volume of his voice would be more than loud enough for Reno to hear, Richtofen still feels the need to shout even louder in response.]

I do not need your judgement right now!

[Richtofen jerked his head up so he could stare at Nesir with wide eyes. For a moment, he seemed like a deer in the headlights, but then his eyes narrowed. He looked back down, examining the handful of intestines he had a hold of.]

Relieving stress.

[He sounded tense and unsure. He wasn't wearing gloves, since whenever he put them on, they would disappear before too long. It must be because they weren't part of the costume. Still, the feel of the bumpy, slimy intestines against his bare palms was exhilarating.

He seems transfixed for a moment, but then he speaks up again.]

Aren't you a bit too young to be in here, child?

[Relieving stress... Well that was one way to do it she supposed, though she raised an eyebrow at the fact he was doing so so openly. Did he not fear repercussions?

The blood or the body didn't bother her, it was dead after all and if the people of the tower weren't going to do there dead the honour of burning them they shouldn't be surprised if things like this happened.

She frowned at his words though.] I do no be a child, and it do be only a body. [Why would she be too young? Even in the standards of the bright gods... After all the temple had taught her when she was twelve.]

[The first time he heard her speak, he thought she just slipped up, but after hearing her a second time, Richtofen began to suspect the girl had some strange speech patterns. He glanced up, brows furrowed, but didn't say anything about it. After all, he couldn't really talk about strange accents himself.]

...You look like a child, in any case.

[He gave the intestines a tug, but they remained connected to the body. With a huff, he grabbed his scalpel and sliced through them, then he piled them up by the corpse's head with a wet-sounding plop.]

Well I do no be. [Her voice is fierce but she isn't punching him yet, she is being careful after her run in with Ganondorf.

She walked further into the cave and sat down opposite him watching.] Why do there be bodies everywhere?

[He seems like a person who will know, since he is currently cutting one up.]

[If Richtofen had been willing to give the kid the benefit of the doubt before, he wasn't now. The question she asked was a childish one. Even so, he was happy to explain.]

It's a morgue. [The tone of his voice suggested that that in itself should be an answer, but he went on anyway.] That is to say, a place where people store corpses before their autopsies..?

[Speaking of autopsies, as he spoke, Richtofen worked to remove the large intestine, which he placed on top of the small one.]

[She doesn't like that tone, she isn't stupid and she's not a child. But there are things that don't make sense and pretty much everything he just said falls under that category.]

What in the name of the shadow do a autopsy be?

[People stored corpses? Unless this was his place, so he could cut them up? That would make sense, if they were stolen bodies.]

[Richtofen considered being snarky with his answer, but the chance to talk about autopsies made him reconsider. Might as well educate the girl, he figured.]

It is when you slice open a corpse's pretty white flesh and look at everything inside! [He sounded pretty excited, and brandished his scalpel as he spoke.] That way, you can find out how the person died.

[Here he was expecting curses or something. That was actually really mild for what he knew of the guy.]

Who's judging? You're waking up half the damn floor. And maybe the First and Third, too.

[Grump.]

[He's just getting warmed up, Reno, don't you worry.]

Well then, they can learn to live with it!

[He gives off a noise that sounds like a whine mixed with a choked-off sob, all high-pitched and ridiculous.]

I'm hideous!

[Oh, so that's what it's about.]

Shut up. We all got to deal with the costumes. Ya weren't a stellar lookin' guy in the first place.
