Jade watched John fiddle with it for a while, trying to think of some solution on her own, but her own frustration and self-deprecation were preventing any kind of progress on the puzzle-solving front right now. A frown was slowly creeping onto her face and her brow knit in concern.

"Fuck, I don't-- maybe we have to match them? Like Red and Blue or Purple and Orange? Some kind of match-y thing. Maybe we should figure out one part of it before figuring out the other..."

The concern was starting to creep into her voice now, as much as she didn't want to admit it.
