There is no repentance.

Characters: Enoch and anyone
Setting: All around the tower, Oct 24 until the end of the event (please note a day or range of days and floor in your subject line!)
Format: I'm starting in prose, but I'll match you
Summary: After two encounters, Enoch's finally succumbed completely(or nearly so) to his transformation's urges, going after people who he knows have sinned. Or those who do so in front of him...
Warnings: There will be violence if confronted with a known "sinner", maybe death?

It took a couple of encounters and a little over a week of time. But Enoch isn't hiding anymore. He wanders the stairs with his Arch out and held in one hand, his stride confident and purposeful. He has a stern look fixed on his face, though his eyes may at times appear troubled.

He's searching for sinners. He hasn't yet realized there are no other means of getting candy than stealing, which is a good thing; that would make everyone in a costume guilty of the sins of theft and knowingly condemning another to die. As it is, there are people he knows who he will attack on sight: Those who he knows have signed away their souls. Those who would take them. He who has stolen. He who has killed God. He who allies with a demon. They who are demons. And those who torture, harm children, attempt to kill - he makes a detour to a terminal for those before continuing his patrol.

But he isn't without some piece of himself left, as his sometimes-troubled eyes might hint. Somewhere inside, he doesn't want to kill. So he does all he can. He shouts a warning, the only warning that makes any sense to his warped mind.

"All you who have sinned, your time for judgment has come!"

Tohko knew that she had tried to kill two people and had killed someone. She would have to deal with those problems soon. However, when she saw Enoch's message, she rushed to find him. He seemed like a really nice guy. Probably immortal and a little strange, but nice. So, she would try and stop him from killing the admins and anyone else. After all, while the admins probably weren't good people, and while some people in the tower probably were horrid, that was no reason to go and kill them.

Finally, she managed to find him standing before the cathedral. "Enoch! I need to talk to you!" She yelled. Maybe she would be alright. After all, she didn't think he knew about her killing and attempted killings.

Relieved, Tohko caught her breath as she spoke. It didn't seem like had done anything outrageous yet. "I..saw your message on the network. The admins may do horrible things..but that doesn't mean you should kill them! If you kill them, then that brings you down to their level. Besides, how are you going to find them?!"

[Oct. 24th, Aquarium] Sinners, you said?

[personal profile] andajarofdirt 2012-10-27 06:57 am (UTC)(link)
[Though he'll never admit it to anyone else, Jack misses the sea. The sea was death and barren, in that place he was sent back, but it was still the sea. It was still enough. He walks along the Aquarium, absently fingering the walls of water, with a certain undead monkey hanging off his shoulder.]

Quit that.

[He bates at Jack, absently, trying to get the monkey to stop chewing on his hair, but the action is halfhearted at best.]

I'll throw you in there, make you fish bait, see if I don't.
andajarofdirt: (06 | about to get worse)

(Half the PotC universe would heartily and loudly argue with you on that) XD

[It's pretty hard to ignore the light show. Even Jack has to take a moment from his torment dealing with Jack, to look. Or try to look, it hurts a little, all that light.]

Oi, mate, coming a bit too stro--HEY.

[Things Jack Sparrow does not like: 1. Krakens. 2. Supernatural beings hellbent on killing him/taking his soul/make him pay. 3. Paying for things. 4. Having his hand bitten by nigh indestructible, undead monkeys that could really use better timing. He fumbles a bit, but eventually grabs the pest by its little vest. He addresses Enoch... or well, the general area where he is.]

Coming a bit too strong, aren't we?

[Don't mind him if he's sticking the struggling, screaming monkey into the water, though. It's not like it can drown.]

That's true..but if you punish those who kill by killing them, then you're not better than they. Plus..I got the feeling that you weren't going to kill just the admins. Am I wrong? [Tohko hopes that she is..]
andajarofdirt: (10 | that could work)

(Heh <3)

[personal profile] andajarofdirt 2012-10-27 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
[Jack snorts, pulling the monkey out and away from Enoch. It's not that he likes the little annoyance, okay. He doesn't. It's not like he's attached to it or anything. He's just. Familiar. That's all.]

I wish.

[Releasing Jack caused it to roll around Jack's arm back to his shoulder, where it made a sound of annoyance and busied squeezing water out of its tiny clothes. Jack shook his head.]

Must be hell of a problem to sleep in the same room as you, mate.
andajarofdirt: (15 | or did I?)

[Welcome to the parade of the unusual, Enoch.]

Isn't that worse, though? Like, sleeping and being woke up with the extra light, instead of just trying to sleep with the light? Kind of defeats the purpose-ity of your good intentions in the first place, doesn't it?

[personal profile] andajarofdirt 2012-10-28 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
[...this is very interesting information.]

Really? Lucky you, then!

[He tilts his head a little curiously.]

What room is that anyway?
andajarofdirt: (08 | and then there's rum!)

[personal profile] andajarofdirt 2012-10-28 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
Well, to petition a room change, of course!

[Jack gives Enoch - or well, the general area at Enoch's left - a winning smile.]

I could use some actual restful sleep, if you catch my drift.

[personal profile] andajarofdirt 2012-10-28 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
You misunderstand. They're quiet alright. I just happen to snore.

[Jack, the monkey, makes an exaggerated noise, as if to comment on the snoring.]

Do you want to go back into the water?
andajarofdirt: (12 | zen)

[personal profile] andajarofdirt 2012-10-28 04:34 am (UTC)(link)
Oh well. They'll just have to put up with my snoring.

[Casually shoving the monkey back into the water again.]

[Scolding a pet. Necessary stress relief... same thing, right? Jack squints a little.]

Do I?

[...in coming gay joke. 3... 2... 1...]

"But you can change the sinners! Try to get them to see the errors of their ways instead of killing them! While killing them in your world might stop them, killing them here will just make them even madder, and it won't show them why they shouldn't hurt others." After all, wasn't the saying 'to err is human, to forgive is divine.'?

Plus, killing people in the stories sometimes did help..but it usually just caused even more trouble for the murderer, no matter how good his intentions were.
