Format: Prose but I do matches if necessary
Summary: After awakening in the tower, Togami tries to skip the first meal rule. It doesn't pan out well.
Warnings: Possible spoilers for Dangan Ronpa and gross vomit mentions



Togami.. was less than pleased with the situation. He couldn't help but grit his teeth upon learning that he was trapped again against his own will. Well the last time wasn't really against his will technically but you get the drift. After exploring the Tower to some degree, he reached a cafeteria at the bottom floor. There he was served the most blandest looking meal he had ever seen. His caviar tastes didn't appeal to the oatmeal so he threw it out without a second thought. A more forceful request rewarded him a more appetizing plate, but not by much. He noted it was pretty plain, and even the most untrained maid at his mansion could whip up something better.

Now that his hunger was sated, he ventured back towards his room now. But an unpleasant feeling bubbled up inside of him like being poisoned. Quickly, he rushed into the bathroom and not much sooner after he locked the stall did the disgusting feeling made itself apparent by making him lurch into the toilet bowl. Before he could really think what was in the meal he just consumed, he repeated the action. He was miserable, sitting next to the porcelain bowl and undignified. Care to help or mock him?

[ Leon is just casually sauntering into the bathroom, hands in his pockets-- but then he hears the sound of someone throwing up. Eeeewww. Part of him just wants to turn right around and walk out, but there's also some morbid curiosity in him apparently since he knocked on the locked door. ]

What kind of shit are you trying to pull in there? [ Not that he knows it's Togami or anything, he's just.. shameless.. and see, it's funny since it's 'shit' and in the bathroom!! (no, nobody finds that funny..) ]

Did you try to skip the oatmeal?

[Aleph leans on the wall of the bathroom. I dunno why he's there because I don't have any characters on the first floor dorms but he's there now okay.]

...Do you need any help?

[Togami doesn't suspect it's Leon on first sight. He kind of tucked away the memory of his voice from a far corner of his mind ever since he was executed. He raises his face slightly upwards, and his voice was ragged after emptying the contents of his stomach.]

Y-You can't tell that I'm ill in here?

[egotist]

[His response is delayed a few seconds, since he had to clear his throat up. Oatmeal? Oh yes.. he remembers that.]

You mean that vile concoction that would be better suited for rats to eat?

[He bits his lip at the second question.]

Bring me a clean cloth that's been dipped in water already.

[alephbet]

That's harsh... But all right.

[Aleph goes to find a cloth for Togami, and shortly returns.]

Here. I have your cloth for you.

[Togami emerges from his stall, toilet flushed and his face is pale. He takes the wet rag without a word of thanks, using it to clean off his face.]

So our captors have turned to poisoning us? I would like to have a word with the person in charge for using dirty tactics.

It's not the worst you're going to find here, and I don't think the administrators care given how often they kill us outright.

Take the oatmeal next time. You only have to eat it once before you can have anything else.

I can't say I'm surprised. They wouldn't have bothered to lock us up in here without taking pleasure in watching us squirm.

... Is there any reason why? Fine, I don't intend to repeat my mistakes.

I'm not sure. There's a lot of things I can only guess at, like our collar colors and many of the things locked in this tower with us.

[...At this point he's pretty much given up on avoiding people and were just about to wash his hands when he heard somebody just. Throwing it all out in one of the stalls. Probably locked too if it's closed position was any indication.]

...Um, are you alright...?

[...The other person's obviously not, but at least Makoto is checking by knocking on the stall door.]

[Well, Minato's coming by for a quick face washing. It's not that hard to hear someone throwing up. Out of concern, he walks over and knocks the door.]

Are you okay?

It's not like you find someone throwing up in the bathroom every day here, dude! That's gross, keep it to some place where other guys won't have to see it later! [ Because obviously Leon being able to pee in peace is more important than other people's health.. obviously.. ]

Besides-- [ .. wait, now he suddenly realises this voice is.. sort of.. familiar..? Huh.. ] T.. Togami? Shit, that's you?!

Nothing. According to them, freedom is impossible because there's nothing to return to. We're supposed to stay here.

There are five administrators - Dax and Zo are the kindest, Riki's unknown, Jason enjoys watching us suffer and Ruana is worst. Monsters roam at night - stay in the dormitories then. Death is temporary. And most of the floors can kill you.

[Togami recognized the voice immediately. His head jerked up from being bent over in the toilet bowl.]

Naegi?

[Speaking not another word until he confirmed it.]

[egotist]

[Great... out of everyone who was here it had to be the person who was stupid enough to get themselves executed first. He lets out a soft exhale, confirming Leon's words.]

Yes, Kuwata. How dare you excuse me of being a filthy animal who doesn't clean after themselves. The flush mechanism exists more than just to clean out your waste.

Well then, may I ask if anybody has actually escape to the outside?

-Monsters? You must joking. Such barbaric creatures only exist in fiction, and I would hope that somebody with an inch of competence knows that.

[Togami clears his throat out and answers.]

I'm fine, it appears I have contacted a case of food poisoning.

[alephbet]

[Aleph silently raises an eyebrow and presses a few buttons on the computer-like thing attached to his arm.

And then there's a giant friggin' fly towering over both Aleph and Togami.]

You were saying something about fiction?

That noise wasn't one she heard often, and not from the men's bathroom at that. Catarina paused outside the bathroom door, curious. Whatever were the stupid humans doing now? Perhaps another one decided the oatmeal wasn't worth his time and decided to forgo it. Laughter bubbled out of her throat, dark and deep and hypocritical. She made it loud enough to be heard inside the bathroom, not even bothering to pretend she wasn't taking pleasure in the thought.

[Togami almost jumps backwards at the sudden sight. But, he retains his cool. There's plenty of good reasons why a vile creature would surface next to them.]

Nice hologram. I must have missed that technological breakthrough during my two year absence.

Beelzebub? Try not to give him a concussion or anything, he's had a long day already.

[Holograms can't tap you on the shoulder with their skull-rod-things and have you actually feel the contact, Togami. :| ]

Her slaughtered echoed back into the restroom, loud and clear. Frowning, Togami didn't have a response back for at least another minute or two where he could clean himself up of the mess. Once he had made himself sufficiently sanitary, the door opened to reveal a girl standing nearby.

"What's so hilarious to you?

[divinitysoiled]

"Merely the heights to which human stupidity can soar." She grinned at him, crossing her arms. "What did you try to eat, hm?"

[egotist]

[Now Togami backs away slowly.. towards the exit. Yeaaah...]
