It would be quite easy to defend them, as well, seeing as how the only way in or out of the infirmary is the staircase. If we had people assigned purely to defending the medics, then we can simply station them there.... [Unless something like the Space Whale Incident happens again, and the building itself cracks and leaves openings. But that can only really be handled on a case by case basis.]

It is a fine strategy. I will be sure to bring it up to Princess Zelda next time I see her, to see if the Fellowship can form a sub-group for this purpose.
