A Very Venture Kidnapping

Characters: Dean Venture & You!
Setting: Dorm 4-10, Fourth Floor, Twenty-Seventh Floor,
Format: Starting with actionspam, but I'll match you.
Summary: Dean's been kidnapped. Again.
Warnings: Spoilers 'A Very Venture Halloween'

Dorm 4-10
[Dean's familiar with this set-up. Someone's grabbed him - and possibly his brother - in a mundane attempt to lure his father and bodyguard to some random lair in the middle of nowhere. Honestly, it's getting a little redundant, at this point, but, being the good little clone, Dean's willing to play along.

The sleep paralysis is new... Well, not new, but uncommon. A nice touch to mix things up a bit, Dean thinks to himself. It's far more interesting than waking up tied to a chair or handcuffed to a radiator. He pushes himself out of bed with a tired yawn and stretches his arms, casually noting how stiff he is and assuming his arms are sore from riding in the trunk of some villain's cheap Geo. It's a few moments before he notices the letter, which he scoops up and quickly reads, sighing at the cliche nature of it.

The world is over? Fascinating.

Still, just to be polite, Dean refolds the letter, slides it back into the envelope, and rests it on his pillow - if he can't bring himself to be afraid, he may as well keep the place neat.]

Fourth Floor
[He ends up sitting in his room for three hours. Three entire hours of just waiting for an intercom to click on, or for a costumed nutjob to kick in the door and deliver a speech about how the Venture family will suffer for something or another. But, nothing comes. Just silence. Finally, Dean grows bored of simply waiting around and pushes himself out of bed, and tries the bedroom door, brow furrowing when it swings open without any effort put in to forcing it.

Dean lets himself into the hall, glancing around for any sign of henchmen or even his kidnapper, more than a little curious about the sheer strangeness of the entire situation.]

Twenty-Seventh Floor
[After wandering the Tower for a while, Dean has found himself in the laboratory. A faint sense of nostalgia hits him when he observes the numerous chemistry sets, remembering the day his father gave him his very first speedsuit; the first time he listened to progressive rock. He brusheS his fingers over one of the many flickering machines, smiling to himself as he recalls the identical one in the family lab.]

Gee, this is just like pop's lab. I wonder if they've got an anti-matter teleporter in here?

[Lambda likes to float around and people-watch. But even more so, she likes to hover behind them and play pranks.

So, when she notices Dean coming out of his room, she immediately hides herself and starts a trail of candy going down the hall. That's what kids like, right? Right. It's what she likes, anyway, and that means everyone has to. Obviously he has no taste if he doesn't go right for the suspicious trail of candy!!]

[Illya had stumbled upon the lab during one of her many bouts of wandering around the tower out of boredom.

For a long while she simply stares at the machinery with a confused look on her face. Though she was quite aware of the basics of the modern world, truly high-level technology ,such as that present before her, was as alien to her as magecraft might be to a normal human being.

Frustrated beyond belief by her own lack of understanding, Illya eventually turns to the nearest person, in this case Dean, and asks for help with the matter.]

You. Can you tell me what all this is?

No, I don't think there's anything like that.

[Shion had been crouched down behind a computer console, plugging her own handheld device into it. She stands, giving a smile to her fellow science enthusiast, before opening the holographic screen and keyboard on her device, and typing away.]
