Summary: Yuno is sick and starts going completely insane.
Warnings: Violence and crazy. A lot of it. If anything more specific occurs, I'll edit.



[ Her Yukiteru Diary was working again. At least, that's what Yuno Gasai thought. After all, messages kept on appearing, one after another. However, the messages were not good at all. They were horrible, horrible messages that proved to her one thing and one alone:

Yukiteru Amano was a huge liar.

He was only telling her that he loved her in order to calm her down... but soon enough, he would stab her in the back, cheating on her with other various girls.

But she wanted him all for herself.

Which is why she's going to track all those girls down... and kill them. ]

(OOC: Just tell me beforehand if you want your characters injured and/or killed!)

[Tohko wasn't quite sure what to do, now that she was blind. Her cloak, cape, and small fever kept her warm, but she kept bumping into things, tripping, and she couldn't even read in here, much less take care of the books. She didn't think they had any audiobooks in here, but it was always worth a try. So, hearing some footsteps nearby, Tohko turned toward the noise.]

Erm..pardon me, but do you know where the audiobooks are? Or if there are any devices here that can play them?

Second floor! ✩ Look, stars! ✩ LOOK AT THEM! D:

[ Funny you should say that, Yuno. He was having similar worries. Similar, but not exactly the same. His own Diary was telling him that she was gone, which was why, despite the fact that his flu was getting worse and he was having trouble breathing, he crawled out of bed, and began frantically searching for her.

He hadn't heard from her all day. The flu had caused him to start suffering from paranoia, and in that paranoia, he had thought Yuno was gone. As in, gone from the Tower. He had been telling himself it was the flu playing tricks on his mind, but after hours of Yuno not coming to check on him in the infirmary, he had had enough. He had to find her for himself.

It just figures that when he eventually does find her, she's like this. ]

Y-- [ Coughing. ] --Yuno?

[ Frantically searching for someone while on the verge of pneumonia was a bad idea. Especially when the person he was searching for was apparently in the middle of one of her psychotic episodes. He really can't even process the thoughts necessary to try talking her down right now, so he can only cautiously approach her. ]

Hallways

[Even if he wasn't a target, Shiki was pretty skilled at picking up that drowning feeling that floated through the air. The kind that said someone was probably going to be killed or get killed in the process. It would have been enough to choke him if he was a novice at this kind of thing.

He had to say something before it passed him by.]

Are you sure you want to do that? Whatever it is you're doing...

[obsessing]

Audiobooks?

[ Yuno speaks in her innocent, yet somewhat curious tone, hiding the knife behind her back. She didn't know where the audiobooks were, but this was her chance.

Taking another look at her cellphone, she verified her thoughts. She had to stop this girl without creating suspicion. And the fact that she was blind helped her greatly. ]

Well... I don't know where they are, but I can help you find them.

[obsessing]

... Yukki?

[ Yuno's eyes were wide in surprise as she coughed into her mask before she confirmed one thing. Yukiteru Amano was most definitely not with another girl at the moment.

Giving a sigh of relief, she gave him a small smile.

At least she's not covered with blood. Yet. ]

Yukki! I'm so happy that you're here!

[ And there's a silent, yet implied alone in that sentence. ]

[obsessing]

[ Yuno merely smiles, spinning the knife in her hand cheerfully. She didn't really care about this man, but she wasn't rude enough to ignore him, either. ]

Don't worry. I'm just getting rid of a few animals.

[ Animals obviously being the equivalent of people. ]

[tohko_amano]

[Tohko recognized the voice as Yuno's and stopped for a moment. When she could see, being around Yuno wasn't that bad, since she would know when things were getting ugly and when to bail. However..it was probably best to stay away from her if she couldn't see. It was probably dangerous, so Tohko started to walk away from the voice.]

Oh, that's alright! I wouldn't want to inconvenience you! I'll just use my hands and feel for them! Don't worry about me. I'll be alright.

[deusexyandere]

[ Yukki stumbles towards her, clearly feeling a bit lightheaded, and short of breath. He forces himself to smile anyway, leaning against the nearby railing of the staircase. ]

Yuno... what happened?

[ He reaches for his Diary, but it just slips out of his shaking hand. He scrambles to pick up, and as he regains his composure, he tries to close the distance a bit more, coughing into his sleeve. ]

My Diary... it said you left.

[ Or at least, he thinks it did. But the Diaries don't lie. They can change, but they don't lie. It must have been the fever playing tricks on his mind. At the moment, though, he has more important things to worry about. Specifically, calming Yuno down before she starts killing people again. He feels like shit, this is the last thing he wants to deal with right now. He heard Yuno's cough, but... can Gods even get sick? ]

What's wrong? [ Coughing. ] Why are you angry?

I get the feeling that's not the entire story.

Like I said, are you sure about this?

[obsessing]

No, it's okay! Let me help you!

[ Says the teenage girl in the most innocent voice as she quietly walked towards her, an innocent grin on her face. Not that Tohko could see it. ]

Besides... you're Yukki's friend, aren't you? And there's no Survival Game here, so there's nothing to worry about.

[obsessing]

What are you talking about? I'm right here.

[ Yuno speaks curiously as her head tilts slightly to the right, confused. His diary was working? And it said that she left? Her eyes widen slightly before she shakes her head.

Time to lie. ]

And I'm not angry, Yukki! I'm completely fine, see?

[obsessing]

Of course I'm sure.

[ Said in the most monotone voice ever, honestly. ]

I've never been more sure in my entire life.

[concept_killer]

Part of me wonders if that's the problem.

[Which probably doesn't make sense to anyone but Shiki himself.]

[And the way she said that she was Yukiteru's friend made Tohko all the more worried. She sighed.]

To be honest..while I would like to be Yukiteru's friend, he keeps saying that it'd be a bad idea if we were. Even though he doesn't like me romantically, and I like someone else, he keeps saying that if we were friends, someone else in the Tower might twist the facts and try to kill me. But..maybe that person will come to their senses someday.

[As she spoke, she felt for audiobooks on the shelf..and actually managed to snag one. However, even though she pulled it off the shelf, she couldn't read what it said. She'd ask someone else later though.]

However..I would like to be your friend, if you don't mind.

[deusexyandere]

I-- [ Coughing. ] I see that. I guess it's just the fever.

[ Yeah, Yuno, he's heard that before. Several times. He sighs (wrenching another cough from himself), as he slides along the wall to be closer to her, reaching out for her arm. Something possibly dangerous to do when she's like this, but it's a risk he's willing to take, and has been willing to take every time Yuno was in this state of mind. ]

Yuno, you know you can talk to me about anything, right? [ Sniffling. Partially because it hurts him to see her like this, and partially because of this damned flu. ] I made you a promise.

[obsessing]

[ Yuno is quiet as she listens closely. It's true, and she knew it all too well. But when she speaks up, her voice is soft. She's still speaking in the too sweet to be true voice, but it's only because she doesn't want to get mad.

Not now, anyway. ]

I wouldn't mind being friends with you, Tohko-san.

[ Of course, she has her fingers crossed behind her. Not that Tohko can see. ]

[obsessing]

[ Yuno is silent for several seconds as she takes a step back, shaking slightly. Even if she herself was sick, she wouldn't stop protecting him from the dangers of the tower and its denizens. ]

It's okay, Yukki. [ She shakes her head, not wanting to tell the truth to him. She can't. ] I don't want to trouble you... especially since you're still sick.

[deusexyandere]

[ He frowns when she takes a step back, evading him. She often did that when she had something in her head, and he doesn't have the strength or willpower to play this game with her, right now. ]

I feel better when you're around. [ He coughs into his sleeve again, finally pulling his arm back. ]

Just-- just promise me you won't do anything stupid, okay? [ In this state, he couldn't stop her even if he tried. She was many times stronger than he was, and with her God powers, he had no chance. All he can do at this point is reiterate his feelings for her, and try to appeal to reason. ] I can't lose you again.

[tohko_amano]

[Tohko isn't sure whether to believe that or not..]

I see..well, I'm happy to hear that! And to be honest, I support you and Yukiteru's relationship all the way. If you ever have a problem or something, talk to me, alright? I'll be more than happy to help out..and you don't have to worry about me getting in the way. I..I already love someone, and it's not Yukiteru. So don't worry.

[obsessing]

Really? Is that so...

[ And taking a quick glance at her cell phone, she notes the fact that Tohko is lying. The future diary says otherwise.

But she'll just approach slowly before giving Tohko a nice big hug. And a stab to the chest. The injury misses any of her vital organs, but it will hurt a lot. ]

[tohko_amano]

Yes..that's right.

[Tohko sighed. She doubted that love would be successful..but she wasn't going to deny how she felt. As Yuno hugged her, Tohko stood there for a moment, stunned..before she felt the stab and screamed.]

W-why are you stabbing me?! Let me go! I'm telling you the truth!

[Tohko tried to shove Yuno away. She didn't pull out the knife-that would have just caused blood loss. Stay calm. Stay calm. If you lose it, it will only kill you faster. Tohko was in a serious amount of pain, and she felt like collapsing..but she couldn't. She had to get to the clinic first. She had to heal.]

I don't love Yukiteru! I..I'm in love with Enoch..even if that will just end in pain.

[Tohko spoke the last part rather quietly, but she was pretty sure that she could still be heard. Carefully and quickly, Tohko moved through the stacks, trying to quickly get out of the library and to the clinic.]

[obsessing]

You can't lie to me.

[ Her voice is cold as she immediately chases after Tohko, taking out her cell phone. ]

My future diary says so, after all.

[obsessing]

[ Yuno swallows, shaking her head as she speaks in a calm voice. ]

I can't promise that, Yukki. [ Then, she gives him a small, melancholic smile. ] But I can promise you that I won't die.

[tohko_amano]

Then..then your diary is lying to you! I'm telling you the truth..I've loved Enoch..for quite awhile now!

[Tohko continued to move through the stacks. The exit wasn't too far away..she just had to get out and get to the clinic.]

Oh man, I'm late to this but if Yuuno has the power, she can injure Lancer

[puppy_lancer]

[Lancer didn't like this. Too many people seemed to be coughing and sneezing. And given that they were all locked in the Tower and symptoms could take days to manifest, it would be extremely hard to avoid this germ. Right now, he's trying sniff out Ayaka and check out how she's doing. In the process, he gets distracted and almost bumps into the rose haired girl.]

'Scuse me...

[He notices the knife in her hand.]

What's with the knife?

[deusexyandere]

[ Yukki coughs again. He knows he can't stop her, not like this. It made him sick (well, sicker) to know what she's about to do, but... well, at least death isn't permanent here, right? Maybe she can just get it out of her system and she'll be better after. ... wow, is he really thinking this? Damn this cold. ]

You're really not [ Cough. ] drop this, are you? [ His eyes close. ] ... just... come find me in the infirmary after.

It's for self defense, naturally!

[ Yuno says with a perky smile before coughing and spinning the knife in her hand without causing herself to bleed. ]

After all, this tower can be quite dangerous, mister.

[obsessing]

What are you talking about?

[ Yuno sounds slightly crazed as she continues to follow Tohko. Even though she's sick, this cold means nothing compared to Yukiteru's safety. ]

The Future Diary never lies.

[obsessing]

Alright, Yukki.

[ She then beams at him, handing him her pinky. ]

Let's make it a promise.

Yeah, and now they're all going sick and crazy as well. Watch out, okay?

[Yes! There was the exit! Tohko cried out as she ran through it.]

It's lying to you about this! Maybe the Tower is messing with it somehow, or the Administrators, because it is lying to you!

[She then started to move down the stairs.]

[deusexyandere]

[ A promise... after all of the promises they made one another - a promise to protect him, a promise to always be there for her, a promise that their love was genuine - one more couldn't hurt. His pinky came up to meet hers. ]

I love you, Yuno.

[ He choked out, trying to suppress another cough. ] I'll be waiting for you... okay?

[obsessing]

I will.

[ Her voice sounds slightly ominous as her perky smile fades into a mischievous grin. ]

Don't worry about me.

[obsessing]

As if I'd believe you.

[ And once she hits the stairs, Yuno walks more slowly than usual, though still at a very quick pace. ]

[tohko_amano]

What reason do you have not to?!

[Tohko tried to move quickly down the stairs, but thanks to her injury and the blood she was losing, it was still slow going.]

[puppy_lancer]

I won't.

[He has Ayaka to worry about and fuss over. And speaking of that...]

Say, have you see a girl running around? Your age, maybe a little older. Shoulder-length dark hair and wearing glasses?

[obsessing]

[ Yuno's quiet for a moment or two, mulling things over before coming up with a reply. ]

No, I haven't. Sorry.

[ Except her voice does not sound apologetic at all. ]

[obsessing]

Shouldn't that already be obvious?

[ Even though it isn't, she's not planning on telling Tohko the reason why. ]

[puppy_lancer]

[He frowns a little.]

Well, could you keep an eye out for her? Tell me if we run into each other again?

[tohko_amano]

No, it's not!

[obsessing]

Sure!

[ She smiles innocently at him before putting a question on the table. ]

Oh, right. Just in case we do run into each other again... I'm Gasai Yuno.

[He can't notice anything that might be out of place with her.]
