Setting: Hallways and wherever they end up in the thread.
Format: Action spam
Summary: Backdated to Karkat's first hallucinations. Gamzee bumps into his moirail. Who should really be in bed.
Warnings: Swearing! Disgusting palebro stuff
[ he's going insane. like John had been a few days ago. he just knows it. Karkat's shaking on his feet as he walks through the halls, absolutely lost. the rational side of this think pan is telling him that he's not in the meteor. there's no way he can be. yet this time he has woken up to that same scene. the computer lab... dead bodies.
the seeing red had been one thing. terrifying. sleep had been the only way to escape it. but now there's this. things, images swimming around in his vision. things he should have prevented but hadn't. shit that should never have went down if only he had been the leader he had thought he was... the red just is a fucking insult and he knows it.
and all he can do is getting away. closing his eyes and hands in his hair. trying not to vomit, though the sickness in his gut is also from not eating yet today and the flu shit going around. Karkat already feels hot all over. breathing ragged breaths, he's leaning against a wall. yet all he can see is that stupid dingy gray in the dim lighting provided by his mind. coughing and hacking along the way, he just can't stop. going back to bed means going and seeing that all over again.
and he can't.
