Summary: Rosa wants Maria back. She wants her back badly
Warnings: Likely violence

[It wasn't fair. The one comfort Rosa had during her month-long illness was Maria. But everyone kept hiding her. And now Rosa could see they kept hurting her as well.]

[Mama, Mama, it hurts. Make it stop. Make Maria stop hurting. Uuuu...]

[She could hear the child's voice echoing in hers ears. But every time she tries to approach, Maria turns and runs. No matter how she chases after her daughter, she wouldn't be able to find her. Not until she turns her back can she hear Maria again.]

[She almost wants to ask Maria who was hurting her. However, deep in her mind, she fears the answer. She fears that Maria will tell Rosa that she did it, again. She wouldn't believe it, even if she heard it. She had sworn to herself never to hurt Maria again.]

[Then, the answer was obvious. The other people in the Tower were doing it together. Hurting Maria and hiding her. She should have known she couldn't trust anyone here.]

[For the entire day, Rosa will be rushing through the Tower, looking for Maria. Should she run into anyone else, she will not even take a moment to be courteous before leveling accusations at them.]

[Picky was just minding his own business, off on a trip to find himself some more tissues, when he found himself being accosted by a really angry lady that he had never met. He jumps, cringes away, and puts up both of his hands in a "didn't do it" defensive way.]

Woah, woah! What? Who? Maria? Who's Maria?!

You know who she is! You're one of the people hurting her! Give her back to me!

[She has not reached over to attack him yet. She would give him just one chance to give back Maria.]

[Jellal takes a step back when she starts accusing him, a bewildered - even uncertain - frown on his face as he raises a hand to defend himself.]

Miss, please... I don't know who you are talking about.

[...Though that certainly doesn't need to mean anything. Perhaps... maybe before he had lost his memory, he-

He shakes his head lightly, lowering his hands.]

If you want me to... I will help you in your search.

*Someone else has been hit with paranoia. The other residents of Animus are collaborating against him and anyone else who still wished to escape. So when he hears an accusation, he accuses right back.*

Who is Maria? Someone you were plotting with?

*His voice isn't soft anymore, its breathiness turned raspy by the flu symptoms that didn't dissipate, by the wracking coughs that had plagued him these past days.*

[She snorts. If only Maria was old enough to plot with. She is the only person who Rosa can trust. The only person worthy of Rosa's trust.]

She is my daughter. Where have you taken her?

[A growl rises from her throat.]

Of course you know! You helped hide her!

[Her hand clenches into a fist.]

But maybe...if you help me find her...then when it comes time to tear this place down, I'll leave you alone.

[ It had been a pretty uneventful day in the Tower. He had gone to the aquarium floor again, just to relax. It was nice, sitting quietly in his element. Until this woman wouldn't stop screaming, anyway.

He stood up and backed away an inch or two, looking at her like she was insane. He wanted to speak, but wasn't sure what to say. Nobody had screamed at him like this in a long time. ]

What?

[ That was really all he could think to say. ]

You know what.

[Her voice is absolutely venemous.]

Bring her out...or I'll make you!

I haven't taken your daughter.

*Enoch pauses suddenly. Was this...an ally? Only the saboteurs would take someone's daughter for compliance. The ones who wanted to escape had no need to.*

Are you trying to escape our captivity too? There are those here, our hosts must have bribed them, they want to stop us from escaping their grasp.

[If there was some safe place to go outside of the Tower, she would never stop at trying to get there. But she needs to bring Maria with her now that Maria is in the Tower. If what this man says is true...]

Are they the ones who are hurting Maria as well? Tell me! Where are they?

*It was so easy to forget, so simple to let it slip his mind, what Feferi had said about this being one of Jason's experiments. Especially with the pressure of someone's child being in danger.*

[This was way more unhinged angry than Picky wanted to deal with. Hands still up defensively, he began to step slowly backwards.]

I don't! I really don't! I wouldn't hurt anyone! I swear!

[And then he gets an idea.]

I... I'll help you find her! I'll help, okay? If someone took her, that's... that's really bad!

[She still sounds as aggressive as ever, but she does not move any closer to him.]

[She gives the man one last angry glare. Even if she could trust him, she was still no closer to saving Maria or punishing those who had hurt her.]

She is small, even for her age.

[She motions around her waist to indicate Maria's height.]

Y-yeah! I will!

[He dares to lower his hands a few inches.]

What's she look like? Where did you last see her? We'll find her, and... and we'll stop whoever's hurting her. Okay?

She is tiny, even for her age.

[She gestures around her waist.]

She is wearing a pink and black dress with a one-winged eagle design on her chest. And she is hurt and bleeding. I want to find her as quickly as possible.

Back off, lady, I have no idea what you're yelling about!

[ he backed up a step or two and pulled some water out of the tank behind him, coating his arms in a large bubble, just in case he needed it. ]

Why don't you try harassing someone who actually has a clue what you want?

You have some sort of power that lets you control water?

[She actually stops in her tracks.]

Is that what you used to hurt Maria?

[Her hands clench into fists. She doesn't care what powers he has. He hurt Maria, so she can't let him go.]

[ He stands a little taller when she stops, feeling in-control for about a split second. ]

Yeah, I do!

[ And then he realizes that she's not actually about to back down. ]

I don't know any Maria!

[ Well, he probably did. He likely slept with one at some point, but that wasn't the point. ]

Besides that, I don't just go around hurting people. What do you take me for?

An enemy.

[With that, she's punching at him. But her physical abilities are only that of a normal human without much martial arts training. He should find it easy to duck.]

[He shakes his head - he hasn't done anything, not here; he just has to believe it.]

I haven't... but, I'd be glad to help you.

[Regardless of being left alone or not.]

Fine. Then look for her with me. And help me kill anyone who is hiding her.

I will help you look- [Whether he will help her kill or not... well, he's not sure if he will go that far.] -but I need a name and a description of who we are looking for.

[This won't go anywhere otherwise after all.]

Her name is Maria. She is nine years old, but small for her age. She has brown hair and purple eyes and is wearing a pink and black dress with a gold one winged eagle embroidered on it.

[He nods, committing that description to memory.]
