"This place is rather unsettling. That's all." Not the whole truth, nowhere near the truth at all but Arturia knew if she was asked directly she'd likely tell Irisviel everything. Her only consolation was the fact Ilya had been the Grail Vessel in the Fifth War and not Irisviel's daughter. At least, if the subject came up, she could tell her Lady that her daughter had not shared her fate.
