As much as she might like to hunt, she had bad experiences with the power of things that weren't human, and wouldn't risk a pointless confrontation with something that might be much more powerfu than it looked.

I expect from what little I've seen that most will not want to trouble you. They have far too much on their plates as is. And for me? I think I am simply enjoying our little ... chat enough to not wish to sully a potential second one.
