Characters: Presea Combatir

Format: Starting in prose, but I'll match.
Summary: A short summary of what's happening in your thread.
Warnings: None, probably.
《 ROOM 03-17 》
It was a strange, terrifying feeling to once more wake up to being unable to move her body of her own accord--in an unknown location, no less. The months since gaining her key crest had been wrought with loneliness and trouble, but also hope and happiness as her time had once more begun to move forward. Summer had ended for her, permanently, and she had no desire to grasp it. So there was a sense of relief when her body began to obey her once more. She turned her head back and forth, observing the room, the skin-tight suit that had been placed on her, and the letter.
She lifted it gingerly, frowning faintly, though her eyes widened as she read the contents. Her hands began to shake and a cold feeling washed over her.
"No...it can't be..."
They had saved the world, hadn't they...?
《 FLOOR FIFTEEN 》
With nothing more to be done in the room she had awoken in, Presea had begun the act of exploring: many of the rooms had caught her eye, but none more than workshop. She took to the task of inspecting both the safety devices, some of which she was familiar with and others that she had never seen before and the tools that had been provided. The materials were also the subject of some scrutinization, particularly the wood. She would have liked to have a place like this to work on her carvings once more, although this was neither the time nor the place for such a thing.
《 CAFETERIA 》
Eventually Presea made her way down to the bottom of the tower and, after inspecting the kitchen, found herself begrudgingly accepting the oatmeal. She was hesitant to take food from a stranger, but there didn't seem to be any alternatives at the moment and starving would only hurt her further. She sat at a table, staring blankly down into her bowl. Her time had begun to move forward again and likewise, the world which had been caught in a cycle for four thousand years, had begun to spin once more. But now everything was gone. Ozette. Regal, Lloyd, Colette and the others...all of the people who had saved her.
She occasionally scooped spoonfuls of oatmeal into her mouth, only stopping to look up if someone were to pass by. Would she find that time had stopped here as well?
《 EVERYWHERE ELSE 》
Presea can be seen walking the tower, taking in the sight of every floor. The more questionable ones are only observed from the staircase, but she'll step onto the rest and explore them as thoroughly as she can. Her expression is blank, if a touch melancholy, throughout it all, though the outdoor floors and more technological-based floors will draw out some confusion.

Cafeteria
As soon as she spots you, she stops dead....and drops her tray!]
floor 25
She paused upon noticing Presea, tilting her head slightly and watching for a second or two before getting up and approaching her.
"Hey, you doin' okay?" she asked, concern in bright scarlet eyes. "You look kinda unhappy."
Re: Cafeteria
[She reaches out as she sees the tray dropping, as though she can somehow catch it from this distance. She abandons her (largely empty) bowl of oatmeal in favor of approaching the girl. There's a slight smile on her face, full of relief and concern at the sight of her friend.]
Are you alright, Colette?
no subject
"Yes. I'm fine." She paused briefly, before adding, "You're...different from the others." It wasn't a comment on her appearance, but her mannerisms. Even at a glance one could see how different she was from the drones (empty, blank slates, so much like Presea herself) that wandered around the tower.

"Sorry, I ain't sure whatcha mean."
Hallways
And the hair was different... But who cared, taking a closer look wouldn't hurt. And if it was Poppy, then he'd have a big rant to throw on her!
"You!" He called out as he approached, and then stopped.... And finally he just stared.
"Hm, no. You're not Poppy."
Re: Hallways
"...No. I am Presea Combatir of Ozette." She tilted her head slightly to one side. "Who are you?"
Re: Cafeteria
One thing is for certain, though. Presea seems to be alive. And standing right in front of her. After a moment of awkward silence, Colette manages to speak]
...Is that really you?

He lowered his Blackfire Torch and grinned, "I, am the great and powerful Veigar. The true holder of pure magic and most powerful caster in existence! I suppose this is where I'd welcome you to this wretched place though I have not found anyone who wants to be here as of yet."
Re: Cafeteria
[She nods slowly. Presea is patient enough to not mind any length of silence, and she is happy to see her friend, but Colette's reaction concerns her all the same. It's possible that Colette was a recent arrival such as herself, but it seems unlikely that the Chosen would find her presence so startling were that the case; therefore, she clarifies:]
I arrived here a short while ago and received a letter detailing the current situation.
no subject
"...Veigar." She made a vague gesture with her free hand as she spoke. "Can you tell me anything about this place? The letter I arrived with provided little information about the tower itself."
no subject
"Very well, but I'd rather you inquire on more specific items. While I enjoy speaking for long lengths of time, I dislike not having a subject, or rather, such a broad one. There's many, many, things about this Tower and some can't even be explained."

"There are others here as well?" Then other people had been pulled here before her. She could not decide whether to consider that to be a relief or a concern. "I'm sorry, it seems I am a recent arrival."
no subject
"It'd be even worse if anyone had t' be alone here."
no subject
"While they show proof of our world's 'demise', this place is no haven. Far from it as the rulers of this demented place use it's 'wards' as guinea pigs in their many experiments. That, and the place itself is a dimensional hell where each floor has it's inherent dangers. Besides the very few, 'safe' floors in which we sleep, or eat."
