Yeah screw the song you can totes wake me up now
Characters: a blonde walks into a bar. It hurts.
Setting: Dormitory floors!
Format: starting in action but whatever feels good
Summary: This dream is stupid and you should all feel stupid. BT Otherwise known as Roxas wanders about the dormitory floors trying to wake himself up, herp.
Warnings: denial. Denial denial denial.
[He must have fallen asleep at some point, because otherwise none of this really adds up. Not that any of it is adding up, anyway; generally there's a feeling there, a weight on your shoulders when someone's subconscious is tying you to their dreams, wanting you to play a certain role, a part. Roxas can't feel anything like that, and he's certain he would never dream anything like this-]
[He can't feel Sora either, a marked difference that has him up as soon as he's ready to move, away from his(?) room and down the corridor, up the stairs. Down again.]
[He really shouldn't have drifted down to floor 100.]
Why isn't it working? C'mon, just wake up.... [He's relying on pinching himself already and that's just ridiculous. Nothing's working. The answer to what would is going to be right at the forefront of his mind, later, but for now...]
[Roxas is eyeing the stairs off carefully. If he flung himself down, surely...]
[.........]
[Yeah okay maybe it's not the best idea. Hum.]

You just had to be on floor 100, Roxas.Axel's been wandering about ever since news of some new floors showing up reached his attention, and somewhere along the lines he's managed to get himself here.
... Where the train station is.
Having been here in the Tower for a while now, Axel knows better than to think of this all as more than an illusion. Trying to reach out and feel the brick walls of the clock tower only prove that. Still. He'll give the Tower some props. It's pretty accurate from the number stairs down to the warm gradient of red and purple hues across the sky.
Heck, even Roxas is here.
... Wait what.]

[Axel calls out to him as he approaches, still unaware that this Roxas is completely different from the other one.]
You checking out the floors, too?
no subject
Still better than floor 50, 1% of the time][Also did I mention Roxas isn't....happy..... To see Axel. At all. Considering things, this must be a dream then; axel so willingly approaching him after- after what happened the other day. He's half expecting the dream to explode around them again, though part of that may be the tight feeling in his throat.]
[They don't have to talk about it, right? They can go with the flow of the dream, like Axel is right now.]
[He can pretend his best friend doesn't die.]
....Yeah. [His voice sounds a bit funny, but that can't be helped. It's also proving impossible to look Axel in the eye; looks like this could use a bit of work.] Just- figuring out the place,
[If this is a dream, why doesn't he have any memories or prompts on what they're doing? Roxas frowns, thinking things over slowly.] Find anything interesting?
AND ANOTHER REDHEAD -
Does he... think this is a dream?
More like a nightmare.]You're as awake as you're going to get.
ROXAS SHALL START A COLLECTION
That's up for debate... [Of course, if this person is here, he probably believes this is reality.] Whats this place supposed to be, anyway?
THIS UN'S THE GRUMPIEST
This is the Tower, you're stuck here with the rest of us, try not to die.
[Want better info then ask better questions.]
HE TRAVELLED WITH DONALD???
The Tower? [Well isn't that descriptive? Roxas raises a brow, crossing his arms and looking; curious, interest piqued. The more he knows the sooner he can change this. Most towers have doors, you know. A ground floor? Front entrance? It's not that hard.
Donald has non-grumpy times.
[Really, you think he'd still be here if there was?]
Or at least if there is one, it's in a level only the administrators can access.

What are you doing?
[It might have been nicer to give a warning beforehand instead of just popping up next to him.]
no subject
If you're afraid of what's down on the non-dorm floors, you should be.
no subject
[A winged girl walks past him towards the stairs to floor 100. It's a safer floor, at least. There weren't many people in her favorite place to begin with.]
no subject
[Sheba had an unfortunate tendency to be a little blunt sometimes. But her expression is sympathetic, at least.]
I'm guessing you're new here...?
[She could just try to read his mind and find out for sure, but the poor boy looked disoriented enough already. Roxas was lucky; his privacy would be respected.]
no subject
Hey there!
no subject
I figured I'd work my way top to bottom. So far this is the first floor I've gotten the chance to see.
[A side glance at his best friend]
... Not so sure I really like it.
no subject
I'm pretty sure I don't. [Terse; it reminds him of the digital Twilight Town. He doesn't need to look around; it wasn't that long ago that he'd visited the real place, full of people. Friends. Ice cream.]
How do we get down?
He's still p grumpy
Alright, so where are they? I'll ask to leave.
no subject
[She's sort of like...a weird, human sized Tinkerbell, in a way. Kind of cool.]
Just...trying to figure something out. [Herp.] What are you doing? Aside from scaring people.
yeah obviously
Good luck with that. If you say please, they probably won't give you to Jason.
[Maybe.]
no subject
I don't have anything to be afraid of yet. [Yet, since he doesn't know enough of what he's supposed to be scared of here.] Why? You find something nasty?
no subject
Wondering if its safe to throw myself down the stairs. And you?
no subject
no subject
[...he's mostly joking.]
no subject
no subject
Is Jason their terrifying chihuahua? Guard dog?
And have you ever tried asking? It's a simple answer to this, you know.
Okay I laughed
[Kind of silly. His lips twitch into a smile, for a moment, but then it's back to business.]
I'm trying to figure out how to leave, actually.

I'm Roxas. Uh... Where are we?
no subject
[No seriously AHHHHHH HIS FIRST POKEMON.]
Look out! [The stairs may hold the secrets of the universe but the ground still lacks a punch when you get tackles down onto it-- sorry Hibiki.]
no subject
Oh. I'm Roxas, by the way... And you are?
no subject
The elevators or the stairs like we always use? Come on, kiddo. Get your head in the game.
no subject
[Sheba makes a face; it's something she's been wondering, as well, but none of the books in the libraries have any of the answers she's looking for.]
The simple answer? We're in the Tower - but where the Tower is, exactly, I couldn't tell you. The people who brought us here said it's in another world entirely from the ones we're from... that seems almost crazy, though.
no subject
Try the ruthless, immoral bastard in charge of the "experiments" here.
[He... is not even going to answer the other bit. It's that stupid.]
no subject
I didn't mean to scare anyone.
[She smiles apologetically, leaning sideways to peek past him.]
Doesn't seem very difficult to me.

And suddenly he finds himself not on the ground anymore and why is the ceiling looking farther away by the second?
Hello, floor. Bye Typhlosion, remember him well.]
A-ah.....I'm going to feel that tomorrow......
