THE MOST UNLIKELY OF BROS

Summary: Jade and Chie are forced to become bros at the muns' behests
Warnings: Bad cooking and confusion abounds.

[Jade had found some interest in the kitchens, taking time to learn a bit of it so he could make something to eat with some of the items he'd received what seems like forever ago when the Adimns had felt particularly generous. So, he'd decided to make curried tofu, being that he had just enough to make a good few batches of it. It'd give him something to do, and he was sure trying to back off from exploring for a bit would certainly give him a fresh start when he went at it next. So for now, he had a cup of tea and was standing over the pot that held the beginnings of the tofu in it. Near the stovetop was a cutting board and some diced vegetables. The bag containing the rest of the ingredients was still sitting on a nearby chair.]

[Chie was on another search for steak, because this was starting to get ridiculous, she was not going to be come a vegetarian! She loved her precious meat too much for that!

Her search landed her into the kitchens, which she really hasn't explored that much before. One would think she had, what with her huge appetite and all. What she wasn't expecting was to see someone else there, so naturally her curiosity got the best of her.]

[Hearing someone enter the kitchen wasn't odd, but it caused Jade to look up, specifically when she spoke to him. He rose a brow, but was compliant and replied courteously.]

Tofu curry.

[She looked over at the ingredients, this was different from what she and Yukiko used.]

Huh, is this what supposed to be used? Me and my friend use a lot of other things in curry too.

[Jade seemed a tad confused, but he'd ask to satiate his curiosity.]

Well let's see...we put in coffee for thicken it up, some tuna for flavoring... Oh! We added tons of hot sauce too! What else...a ton of beans too.

[With each addition of a new.. err, ingredient, Jade cringed a bit. That's not curry, that's an abomination.]

I'm sure it was.. unique.

We thought it'd be filling since we were feeding teenage boys, but they ended up insulting it! To be honest it looked pretty gross after we put it on a plate. I think it was the coffee that made it horrible.

I think presentation is half of the battle with some people.
