Characters: Anyone who signed up for the Dark World Plot! Look at tag list for more details.
Setting: The 4th and 5th of March. Located in the Cursed Floors + Ganon's Tower (Floors 6, 7, 8, 12, 62, 65, 68, 70, 73 and 79 + Floor 75).
Format: Most likely action but left at the players's discretion.
Summary: Your character somehow got trapped in the Forest Floor of the Tower-- And it looks nothing like the Forest Floor the characters remember. It's the beginning of the Dark World. Some floors look pretty different from what they did before, some nearly identical. The only way to get out is to go through the dungeons that make up this Dark World.

All characters start out in the Dark Forest, then as they go throughout the forest, they magically walk into one of the three dungeons (the one they have been assigned to). By exploring the dungeons, they will acquire one of the three Pendants that lead to the Core of the Curse, from where the cursed floors can be ended. However, Richtofen is there and happy to make sure that won't be that easy.

Mingle threads are simply for Mingle, whereas the exploration of the dungeons, puzzles, etc happens in the Exploration threads. OOC information here.

Warning: While your character may survive fine and all, the dark world is a dangerous place with lots of monsters and puzzles to solve. Characters may get harmed or killed, but that is left to the players's discretion. Characters going through the water of temple may lose their patience and sanity.


Arrival in the Dark World
Here are simply listed the three different ways your characters may have gotten dragged into the Dark World. Note this can be a combination of many of these ways, feel free to pick how your characters arrived in!

• The character may simply have been present on the floor when Ganondorf cursed it. That's really… Bad luck? If that is how it happened, the character would have been immediately transported into the Dark Forest Floor. If they arrived before the 4th of March, they would have been unable to leave this floor for three days. Which may be pretty unnerving.

• The character may have been caught by a floormaster or wallmaster somewhere throughout the tower, and cast into the Dark World. Floormasters and Wallmasters are gigantic and creepy black, red or purple hands that come out from either the floor or the ceiling and take characters to another part of the tower, point in case the Dark Forest.

• They character may have found one of the black doors of Mordor leading into the cursed floors. Out of luck, a creepy black hand similar to that of wallmaster could have come out of from the door and have dragged them in.

• The last option is the simplest, Ganondorf hided in the shadows and cast a spell on you that teleported you right into the Dark Forest. This option is mostly directed to those who have past history with Ganondorf or who are known to be close of Princess Zelda, Link and Tetra.

Sorry I'm late!

[...and suddenly there is an angel running and hopping along the shifting sands. Pit can't fly, but he's light on his feet and he can at least glide a little as he hops along toward the pendant.]

Careful, guys! I think there might be a Moldorm here!

[It would make sense; those things usually appeared in Zelda games where there was sand.]

[ At this point anyone approaching from the room's center would feel, much like Elena, the sand trying to absorb them, trying to drag them toward the pendant. However before long the pendant would be swallowed by the sand itself and the center of the room would become black as if something was about to come out.

The whole ground in the room would actually shake, and it would last for roughly one minute. People staying clear from the area near the center wouldn't be drawn to it. ]

Elena! [It was getting harder to stay back, and soon Shion was being drawn nearer to the centre wit the others, towards the blackness... He could see Ishtar as well, and others...]

[This was bad. Oh so bad and why the hell did others have to get involved? She'd been doing just fine when, no more than past the mid-point, everything when to shit. The sand beneath her slowly pulling at her ankles and calves, pulling her down and, oddly enough, towards the pendant. The woman - she'd seen her before, perhaps? - who had tried to join her in the race to their possible escape was just as trapped as she was, being sucked into a potentially horrible death of suffocation.]

Wha-Hey!

[Something whizzed by her head, air hissing as it went past, grabbing with her good arm to whatever the offending thing was.]

An arm??? [And then an idea hit her. Turning to look at the other woman, she gave a whistle and then tossed the extended arm her way.] Catch! Use it to get out of the quicksand! And you! [At which point she then points to the boy with wings] Help her out of the sand and then get that pend-

[And there went that idea. The sand had successfully beaten her to the floating green gem, which left them SOL. To make matters worse, the ground had begun to shake and, much to her dismay, did nothing to stop the sand from reaching the middle of her thighs. That she would figure out on her own. So long as the others kept back an -

That voice! Oh no... Her stomach dropped as she turned, fearing that her suspicions would be realized. Which, unfortunately, they were.]

Shion! Its fine! Just keep back for now!

[Pit tried to keep up his hopping routine, but with how quickly the sand was picking up, it was proving futile; he was light on his feet, but unfortunately with all the floor ice cream he's eaten, not that light. It's not long before he's sinking too, fumbling to try and get out of it, wings flapping as if that was going to help.]

W-woah! Not cool, this is not cool!

[He really was trying, but keeping back seemed to be no longer an option and soon he was sinking into the sand as well.]

[ Following this there would be a five second calm--

Then suddenly a gargantuan sand worm would erupt from the sand in the center of the room and fly around this floor: Soul Beast: Seele Molgera. Trying to attack Molgera as it was flying around the room would have no effect. However as the beast was no longer in contact with the sand, they could realize the sand was normal, meaning they coudl easilly get away from the room's center and avoid the quicksands.

However before long Molgera would dive back into the sand and disappear. At the center where he dove, a sand whirlpool would create, the quicksands now drawing everyone toward the center of the room with more strength than the quicksands from before. ]

[Pit took advantage of the stilled sand, digging himself out and struggling to get away from the center before it started up again. Man, this was so not fair; he missed out on the Gamecube! He doesn't know this one!]
