Characters: The characters who got recruited to hack the elevator or infiltrate the administrative floors. Look at the tags.
Setting: The Cafeteria-- Then the Elevator and the Administrative Floors.
Format: Action most likely.
Summary: Ganondorf's true plan begins. While the annoying administrators and the heroic heroes are busy dealing with the "Dark World" controlled by Richtofen, Ganondorf and Repliku, Naoya has freedom to hack into the Elevator System and the Team led by Nesir can then use it to infiltrate the lower floors undetected. They will then divide into two teams to cover as much field as possible. Quite obviously this won't end so well.

The official purpose of the mission is to find the Control Room of the tower and the Exit Door mentioned by Ruana long ago, with the ultimate objective being to take over the control room. The truth is that it's a suicide mission with as only purpose to gather intel on the truth and how to take over the tower's control systems.

Warnings: Nearly all characters here are deeply anchored into the Dark Side-- Probably only Ryoji isn't. And the odds to meet one of the administrators while in the lower floors are pretty high, so all the warnings?


Contacted Characters
All characters meant to come will have somehow been contacted and told to come- By either Ganondorf, Naoya, Sephiroth or Nesir. Indeed, each of them will either have been directly contacted in person or will have received a mail in their mailbox (or in their dorm if they have no mailbox just yet).

The transmitted message pretty simple, to come down to the Cafeteria floor, March 5th before mid-day if they have enough of the tower and want to take things in hand personally. There are no particular instructions, except that they must not fear death or the administrators if they decide to the Cafeteria. And obviously, utmost secrecy has to be kept.

[ The cafeteria looks the same it does every day. Obviously this floor, like most other floor has not been cursed and so there is nothing much interesting to do until the elevator opens-- At least they can eat before going down? Naoya and those he asked to help him may start working on hacking the elevator or maybe even started working on it a long while ago.

A couple Darknuts roam near the entrance to dissuade other characters from entering until the team has entered the elevator. ]

[ Only when everyone would finally be here and settled, and as the elevator was about to be hacked for good, Ganondorf would appear in a dark wind. He looked pretty much the same as usual, surprisingly enough considering all that was going on. If anything he was maybe looking a little bit tired, but keeping a tenth of this tower cursed and not sleeping for a week straight may do that to you.

He looked around and gave a look at the elevator before turning to the others. ]

I assume everyone is here by now. If not, I won't be waiting for those who are late.

[ With a move of his hand the cafeteria got closed by a dark wall—It wouldn't be closed for more than an hour. A crystal appeared in his hand- Entirely white, which seemed to satisfy him. ]

You may have noticed by now the distraction going around. We don't have much time left, so I will be quick.

[ He turned to Nesir. He didn't want to do all the speaking himself and she knew exactly what the plan was. ]

[Ryoji enters the cafeteria hesitantly. He received the letter a few days ago, and though he was terrified of heading back down the elevator again, he was determined to make Diarmuid proud and continue to help the people in the Tower. He's a little nervous, since he hasn't had time to learn any fighting techniques, and it's likely he could lose his powers again, but he's hoping that if he trusts his instinct, he'll be okay.

Until the elevator is ready, he'll be spending his time wandering around the various tables, seeing who else has been recruited.]

[Veigar arrived shortly after. The information he was given and the request to participate in this particular instance had intrigued the tiny dark master. It was a chance to destroy the administrators and this time with supposedly capable allies even if Ganondorf was seemingly busy with the distraction.

He wouldn't have brought others who weren't worth the time right?

With that said, he grabbed a drink while he waited.]

[Nesir is deep in the emptiness, nerves were stupid. Alright so she had never led before, and knew Ganondorf was testing her. She wasn't sure what was more nerve wracking.

Between those two facts the fact this was a guaranteed suicide mission didn't seem to phase her at all.

She wasn't eating, she knew she should but it was a miracle enough that she had slept. She concentrated on her meditations, focused on being calm.

She's alert though, if anyone wants to come and bug her.]

[Nesir's face is completely calm even if she is a mess of anger and nerves underneath. She's not going to fail though, she's going to prove to Ganondorf he wasn't wrong to chose her for this.

When she speaks those that already know her will be surprised to hear her speak in perfectly grammatically correct sentences, in a soft accent, gentle and quite noble.

The decision to drop her dialect for this explanation had been made out of practicality, she really didn't want anyone to mess up because they were too stupid to work out what she was saying.

The accent decision was because she hated her own accent spoken in (in her opinion) wrong sentence structure, the accent was Lotte's, it made her feel a bit more like a leader.

When Ganondorf looked at her she stood recognising her cue]

We shall all travel down in the elevator together and split once we reach the administrative levels. Our two objectives are to find the control room and the exit door. One team shall be led by me and the other by...

[Wait... that's a part of the plan she didn't know, she glanced at Ganondorf wondering if he had decided yet.]

[Vergil hangs back against a wall when he arrives, arms crossed over his chest. He carefully scrutinises the others in the room, giving some silent approval for some, but immediately doubting the presence of those who look to be nothing but children.]

[Mingle? If the occupants of the cafeteria could be further apart then they would be, or at least it seems that way.

Sephiroth, of course has known about this plot for a while. As such there wasn't any need for him to have been sent any note. After lingering just a few paces into the Cafeteria to quickly survey over those gathered here, he heads over to a table alone - quite casually leaning against it waiting for others to appear.

He wanders what the signal will be. He's not one for wasting time for something he's already resolved to allow himself to die for. Also, he wanders if it will be the same as last time he went downstairs - it's not like he spoke to anyone else who took the other four doors available at the start...]

[Well he certainly didn't expect to see Ryoji here.

Everywhere he goes recently, this guy seems to be there. Curious as Sephiroth might be though, he's not the one to go and ask what he's doing here.

This kid better get used to playing with the adults. Sephiroth offers only an acknowledging nod in Ryoji's direction.]

[Ocelot wasn't expecting to get anywhere with this plan, but she enters the cafeteria just the same. After seeing what happened to Dax, she's vengeful and angry.

She can't stand by idly anymore, so she enters the cafeteria, getting something to eat before she sits down. The old soldier isn't the least bit nervous. She has done things like this time and time again, it's just another day to her.

The only difference is a chance for her to act.]

[Well, here they were. No going back now, smirking and trying to look a lot more confident than she felt, Nesir stepped into the elevator.]

[Having only met in passing, Sephiroth is pleased that Vergil has shown up. Not that one could tell given the way he holds his expression blank and unreadable as ever. Arms folded isn't exactly positive body language either but he does offer a slight nod.

Even though they are all going to die, this is going to be a fantastic opportunity to learn others' strengths and weakness. From that Sephiroth may be able to sort those who may become assets in the future]

[With Vergil's own body language being just the same, if anything it's a good sign to him. He will only work as a group while it suits him, but if he must, it should be with those of a like-mind.

He returns the nod, mostly for glimpsing Sephiroth's own sword. Like-minded indeed.]

[Sense of deja vu or what. Sephiroth paused for just a moment to consider this before entering the elevator. A lot sure had been revealed, to ALL of them since that chance opportunity he had taken off his own back. There was no more Dax. Who knows what they could have changed around down there...

There really was no having second thoughts now, Ganondorf has put a great deal of effort into this plan with it's accompanying distraction and it wouldn't do at all to get cold feet at the last minute. Besides, the more one could get the opportunity to explore the admin levels the more informed one could be. It was worth more than dying for, even with the risk of soul exposure and/or experimentation.

With a silent nod to Nesir, he moves into the elevator to let others enter.]

[Mello enters the cafeteria with a chocolate bar already in hand. He eyes up the Darknuts as he walks by, then strides up to the group like he owns the place. On the surface, he looks like he couldn't be more confident. He surveys the others one by one, almost all of them people he's never met before.

Inwardly, he can't help but wonder if they're all capable of going through with this, smart and strong enough to tough it out, but he doesn't let himself dwell on it for long. He has his own goals in mind, and whether they succeed or fail in their larger plan is of no consequence to him.

He just needs to see what's down there for himself. Videos and firsthand accounts are one thing, but to be able to get a look at what the administrators are doing in the lower levels with his own two eyes is another entirely. He needs to accomplish at least that much, and after that... Well. He'll figure something out.

He briefly glances at everyone who's arrived so far, then shakes his head and mutters something under his breath.]

Ryoji.

[ Ganondorf replied immediately when Nesir glanced in his direction, with no hesitation. He had his reasons to pick Ryoji, and anyone with a mind similar to his could easilly understand why. But he nodded to Nesir before continuing. ]

The elevator is hacked, so you can use it to access the administrative floors. Nesir will oversee the entire operation. The teams are Nesir Sephiroth, Veigar and Mello; Ryoji, Vergil, Jin and Ocelot.

By splitting up you will cover more field and the chances of being captured are lesser.

[ He paused and appeared to be done speaking, but decided to add some more information. After all he wanted this mission to be a success. ]

If you meet a retrieval unit, it shouldn't kill you as long as you do not attack it. As for the administrators, they can instantly kill you because of the collars, so avoid them as well as you can. However if you are fast enough it is possible they may be killed-- We have seen proof of it recently.

Only the child, Zo, you should never try to kill. He can easilly be convinced to help us and threatening him would do no good. You can ask Richtofen what happened when he did it last year.

[ Because consistently reminding to everyone that the only reason they failed to take over the tower's control systems last year was because Richtofen is an idiot never gets old. That and Ganondorf can hold grudges for hundreds of years. ]

[Mello's gaze lands on Nesir. She's the only person he recognizes. He walks over and seats himself near her, propping his feet up on a table as if it were a footrest.

The memories of their first meeting make him cringe. He bites off a piece of chocolate in an attempt to keep himself composed, and talks to her without looking in her direction.]

So. You worked with any of these guys before?

[He doesn't try to disguise the fact that he's talking about the others in the room. If they get offended, it'll only clue him in as to what kind of people they are.]

[With the elevator already opened, Jin had rejoined the larger group, his metal briefcase held in one hand, the other hand resting on his hip, and a smirk on his face. He'd heard about the previous infiltration attempt from some hearsay here and there, but this was the first time he'd really gotten the deets. That was probably why he was smirking in amusement.]

Wait, you mean you got busted because of Richtofen? [Oh. Oh this was too good.] Just how dumb do you have to be? Everyone knows the kid's the most powerful one besides Ruana.

[Ocelot stared long and hard. She had not been in the tower long at all, but she had been in it for enough time to start to be able to put pieces together. The history of the tower was lost on her, but it was still enough to have her let out a sigh at the fact that this had happened before and ended badly.]

I do hope that there won't be a repeat of threatening the boy.

[She'd rather avoid dying if she could, after all. Especially after what had just happened.]

[Naoya himself looks a bit stressed - he hasn't slept, but that's normal. He does look a bit paler than usual, though. His white hair hangs in front of his face, and he waits for the others. He's already started some of the initial operations... the real work will begin soon, though.]

[Jin didn't need much incentive; he'd gotten told a little bit before hand, and shown up promptly-- even if no one had told him exactly, he knew where this plan was going. Right into the heart of the Admins' floors, if they had their way.

So he came prepared, and after a bit of discussion, he had already begun work on the hacking along with the others. He had his laptop out for support, a screwdriver in his hand, and set to work. ]

[Mello nibbles on his chocolate as he listens. He's only been in the Tower since January, so he makes a mental note of everything that's being said. Don't attack the retrieval units, don't threaten Zo, don't trust a guy named Richtofen... He rests his head on his hand, still lounging easily on a chair.]

If there is even after all of us have been told not to threaten him, then I think we've got bigger problems to worry about. [He breaks off a piece of chocolate and smirks.] Namely, that the people in this group are too stupid to live. And you're not, right..?

[Yup, he said "you're," not "we're." Looks like somebody thinks pretty highly of himself.]
