Mm, I was never what anyone would call "social". I found those my own age to be too immature for my tastes and those who were older than me rarely took me seriously. When they did it was only for work related reasons and even then it was a reluctant sort of acceptance.

It seems most people weren't too fond of associating with a ten year old who possessed a vocabulary that was better than their own, among other things.

Having friends is something I'm still growing accustomed to.
