As soon as Ion saw the boy who had found him, he took the hand that had been offered, doing his best to stay standing. He liked to think that if he actively concentrated on it hard enough, his knees would cooperate with him and he wouldn't end up falling backwards onto the ground once more. But, regardless of the circumstances, it was always nice to be greeted with a smile. Ion tried to return it, though the words that had been spoken to him did make him feel a bit ill at ease.
"Oh, isn't it?" He sighed, embarrassed. Of course it wasn't. Monsters or not, sitting down on the floor at any point where you felt dizzy was rarely a smart choice. Ion supposed he should have realized this earlier and just suffered on as far as he could manage. "Thank you for telling me. I'm afraid that I don't know my way around yet...though I'm sure that's quite obvious. If it wouldn't be too much trouble, do you think you could point me in a better direction?"
