1st Duel - ReMix
Characters: Kiryu and whatever unfortunate soul crosses his way
Setting: Room 1-08 + dormitory floor 1 → around Floor 26-101 → Floor 17 (night time)
Format: Action to start, but I'll match
Summary: The zombie cultist returns. Nobody is likely to think that's a good thing.
Warnings: Violence, swearing, aggressive trolling are most likely going to happen; I'll edit as needed
[A - Room 1-08 + dormitory floor 1]
[The moment of awakening is almost nostalgic, the sleep paralysis that keeps him in place, that keeps him from moving is almost welcome - he knows that feeling, he has experienced this before.
There's a certain swing to Kiryu's movements when he finally swings himself off the bed, eyes gleaming amused as he finds himself once more wearing that ugly, skin-tight thing, just like the last time and that (and the hiss of Ccapac Apu murmur in the back of his mind) confirms it.
He is truly back in the tower.
It's about time too, he thinks - the last three months had been nice, necessary even to settle what doubts the administration had managed to instill in him regarding his bond to his god, but wandering the wastelands left in wake of the destruction of his home gets old after so long. Especially when he had nothing to do with said destruction.
It takes but five minutes to discard the ugly suite in favor for his robes - though he notes with a scowl that his helmet and his Riding deck are both missing from the trunk (he also sneers at the headband, at the reminds it presents), and he spends an extra minute to check the rest of his cards... those were, at least, all accounted for - and another minute later, he steps out of the room.
It's time to rejoin the living.]
[B - all around Floor 26-101]
[The tower has changed a lot in the time he has been gone, he finds - there are so many floors that he doesn't know, so much that's unfamiliar. It doesn't particularly worry Kiryu, but it does throw him off a bit by the time he's down to the fifteenth floor he doesn't recognize.
The weather isn't helping either... last he recalls, it had been May... it should be September now and it seems strangely cold for that. ...Not that he cares either way.
He focuses on exploring the new floors instead, happily skipping those that seem boring, but lingering when his interest is peaked and looks like he just might be entertained by it.
That is what it is ultimately all about for now, after all.]
[C - Floor 17, Nighttime]
[It's long into the night by the time that he reaches his most favorite floor - golden eyes gleaming as he settles there, in the glory of screams, blood and emptiness. He is well aware of the monsters that like to wander at this time of the day, and he expect that there will be some changes there too, like there have been to everything, but he is far from afraid.
As long as he has his deck and his god's favor, there isn't much he has to be afraid of.
And so he opts to sit back and wait right here, to see if anyone has felt his presence and if they will dare seek him out, if they will be of darkness like himself or one of those foolish heroes - there've been plenty of those the last time around, he remembers.
Meanwhile he fans open his deck, pulls out Infernity Beast and summons it - it won't hurt to have a guard around after all.
There is a smirk playing at his lips as he reaches down and pets his monsters head, widening as another round of screams echo through the room.]
Now... let's see who comes out to play.

floor 17
Until he spotted a young man with a creature. Something was off. He seemed to be waiting for someone...]
Identify yourself. Immediately.
Room 1-08
Uh... hi?
no subject
He has never been a fan of those oh so righteous men that 'take it upon themselves' to make the law and force it upon people that aren't even asking for them, and loathes those that follow them blindly, those that never question and enforce what crap those above them tell them to. And well... then there is the role Security and their likes had played in his death...
Oh yes, he can feel that anger already projecting on the man before him. He is aware of that, but doesn't stop it, embraces it even, a light (and quite deceptive) chuckle escaping his lips.]
And who are you to order me to?
[Not that he truly cares for the name of the fool brave enough to challenge him quite this blatantly.]
no subject
He is adjusting the silver clasp of his cloak, when Ken opens the door for the second time, head turning as he stares coldly down on who he presumes to be one of his roommates.]
A kid, eh?
[Well tower, so far he is not impressed. (But hey, hopefully the old man is still here. He was, at very least, quite entertaining. And possibly could be talked into catching him up properly to what he has missed.)]
no subject
I'm not a kid. I'm twelve.
[He stares right back at Kiryu, not phased by the other's stare at all.]
no subject
Authority or not, Hakumen couldn't let creatures, insects like them walk around, less they become a beast, and a greater burden to the already horrible situation.]
I am Hakumen. Now your name and what you are doing here. Hiding that information does not speak well for you.
no subject
You’ve got spunk; I’ll give you that much. Kid.
[Yes, he’s smirking. Maybe the kid will be entertaining him for a bit after all.]
no subject
Hm. A name for a name, I suppose.
[He smirks lazily.]
Kyosuke Kiryu. As for what I am doing here… Now that is truly non of your business.
no subject
This was not a man he could allow to live.]
I can guess your intentions now, Black Beast. [He draws his sword, pointing it at him.] Or just a pretender to the title. Either way, the stench of darkness is clear and must be cleansed from this tower.
no subject
I've got more than that. You'd better not cause trouble.
no subject
Or what? You will stop me, little hero?
no subject
[Don't make him Zio your ass. :| ]
no subject
I hope you can back that up. The half-hearted should not step on a Duelist's turf.
no subject
Which does raise the question... how do you kill those that are already dead?
Kiryu throws his head back, laughing almost hysterically - in his eyes you are quite the riot, Hakumen - as he puts his deck into place on his disk and draws the first five cards, eying his hand before he slots one of them in the Magic and Trap card zone as Infernity Beast moves until it stands right before him.]
My turn ends with that. Do your worst~
no subject
For now, he watched the young man as he worked. Cards? Was this a joke? No, there was magic behind them, and underestimating this enemy could prove to be a big mistake. Still, to think this child possessed such things. He could tell the difference between these and Ars Magus.]
I know not of the game you seek to play with these cards, but your downfall is apparent.
[Hakumen slowly makes his approach, the Ookami held in a single hand. Let this fool reveal what he had up his sleeves, and the rest would follow. And it gave him more time to for the Susanoo'o-unit to charge up.]
no subject
What game I seek? [He snickers lightly; Hakumen has really no idea. He knows that probably nobody here does and he knows quite well that his powers doesn't require him to play by the rules, not in a situation like this, but really... where would be the fun in that.] Oh, the Duel is so much more than just a simple game.
[It is something to be celebrated.
He watches Hakumen's slow approach with mild interest and an raised eyebrow.]
Wasting your turn, are you? Very well.
[He draws another card, turning it between his fingers before placing it right on his disk, revealing another Infernity Beast, which settles right next to the first one with a snarl.
Kiryu chuckles lightly, before gesturing towards the first of his monsters.]
Battle. Hell Howling.
[The hell hound growls as its cheeks swell and it releases a violent blast of flames, aimed right at Hakumen.]
no subject
Not that he needed it.
He jumped into the air towards the monster, dodging the flames as they only struck the toes of the armor. Quite hot, and confirmed his suspicions: this man wielded magic. This foe would not be one so easily taken down. He spins his body, the large sword going with him as he intended to cut one of the few foul creatures apart.]

no subject
no subject
[And he's starting to think that's all you are capable of, Ken~]
no subject
He narrows his eyes though as the other draws his sword and uses it to cut down his monster.]
A monster of your own, are you? How interesting.
[A challenge and if anything, Kiryu loves challenges.]
My turn again.
[He draws another card, smirking as he sets three cards and then sends his remaining Infernity Beast to the Grave, sacrificing it for another.]
Go, Infernity Destroyer!
[Hakumen may find this an a little more challenging opponent~]
no subject
He raises his sword, aiming to strike the new beast with powerful slash. Energy still needed to be gained before he could truly dish out the real punishment. For now, his heavy strikes would have to do for now.]
no subject
Because Kiryu considers this the perfect timing to reveal on of the face-down card he has set, discarding his last remaining handcard in order to keep Hakumen from destroying Infernity Destroyer as well.]
Activate Trap: Depth Amulet!
no subject
[Hakumen said as his slash hit...and nothing! The card, did it make the creature immune to his attacks somehow? He growled, moving and slashing the beast once again in an attempt to hit it. If his attacks were just going to get nullified, then sticking to single blows might become a problem.]
Your magic cannot protect your beast forever!
no subject
[Kiryu's eyes widen as he draws his next card in anticipatory glee - snickering when immediately summons it thanks to its effect.]
Come, Infernity Demon!
[He then adds the card he got as result of the effect to his hand; it certainly will come handy soon enough - he's sure of that. But for now...]
Battle! Hell Pressure!
[Infernity Demon's four eyes widen slightly as it pushes its hands forward, a large purplish, magical seal appearing before it as at the same time the seal appears also above Hakumen's head, air cracking with electricity as a large hand reaches through and for Hakumen.]
