Book Girl and..

Characters: Tohko Amano and you!~
Setting: Dorm Floors, Stairs (Any floor you choose), and Floor 48.
Format: Prose to start, but I'll match you!
Summary: After missing for a week, Tohko has come back, but not the same as she left. She's in Group B for the event and full details of how she's been mutilated can be found here.
Warnings: Body horror, gore, and possible death for your characters. If Tohko runs into any characters that she knows are members of the rebellion, she will give them only one chance to say that they won't go against the Administrators. If they don't..then you can expect a fight. She will also sometimes malfunction. If you want to meet her while she is doing so, please specificity in your comment.

Quietly, Tohko walked through the Dorm floors, patrolling as she usually did, keeping an eye out for dead bodies or people acting up, and ignoring the blood that occasionally came out of her joints. It was painful..but it wasn't that bad. If these changes could help her perform better, then so be it. Besides, this only better made her a book girl..and she wouldn't have to carry so many books when she could just read a few words on her arm. She couldn't read too much though. She had to stay focused. The residents sometimes acted up, and the other workers might get out of hand without her. Best to keep walking and patrolling.

Tohko walked up the stairs, ignoring the trail of blood she left behind and the pain that came with each step upwards. She had to patrol on the steps too. After all, how else was she going to keep everyone in line and patrol? Occasionally, Tohko would poke her head into a room before continuing onwards.

People often died here in the graveyard too, so Tohko could be found here patrolling, keeping and eye out on things. However, she stopped for a moment when she saw a gravestone for Ryuto Sakurai. For a moment, it felt like something inside her wanted to cry out..but it was just for a moment. It must have been an old emotion, a remnant of the life she had before the Administrators had lovingly altered her to be a better worker. She moved on, letting the sorrow die.

[As Tohko heads up the stairs, Ryoji is heading down, yet he doesn't really acknowledge the other girl's presence with anything more than a small nod. They both had jobs to do, and though she smelled of death like the others, it wasn't as strong.

If she did decide to follow him, however, he would not object. Then someone can hold trouble-makers down for him as he cuts them apart.]

[He does pause when she speaks to him, and glances at her out of the corner of his eye, ignoring the little haze of death around her. She wasn't being disobedient. So what if she'd seen a few people die?]

Good afternoon, Tohko. It is going well. There are an unfortunate amount of people breaking the rules, but I am disposing of them all easily. How is it for you?

[He's... trying to ignore that because he knows Tohko is a worker like him, and isn't directly causing problems.]

Who do you need to speak to? Are they being disobedient?

I trust it will be. If you do not take care of it, you might be punished...

[Not that he can do that, but there are a few that have more authority than them.]
semantating: (Hiding behind a smile.)

Well this is a lovely second meeting, also she is free to attempt to harm him

[ Break is in the graveyard. Ignoring the rows up rows of familiar names.

Sharon Rainsworth. Shelly Rainsworth. Ignored, he is fine; he does not care, he will continue to pass those by.

Gilbert Nightray. He still does not care. What is done is done. If they are truly dead. He will not allow... these... PEOPLE to make him weak. But there is one gravestone that makes him freeze. The name is old and worn and it looks almost like a family plot.

▒▒▒▒▒ SINCLAIR

What a dreadful place this room is. But he does not care, he does not care at all. And so he moves on until he turns to find Tohko... not a beast, but the girl. And he cannot help but find the work done to her sort of ironic in a morbid way. He supposes this was Jason's sense of 'humor'. The irony of the girl who told him all this now being in such a way... but he can't be totally sure it's her. Not unless he talks to her, he supposes. And so, cheerfully, leaning on his cane, he regards Tohko as though nothing is wrong. ]

I do hope the book they took was at the very least a good one; it would be a shame if the pages were wasted in such a way without a purpose, then the one responsible would be quite a crook.

[ He saw that odd, brief pause. Something is wrong here... ]

She has full permission to try, but I don't think he'll go down so easily

[ ... Hah. Such ridiculous things coming out of something quite without the proper mouth. Oh, this was amusing. ]

... I suppose I should not be surprised they made the book girl from a book. It seems a little more to me that they took the idea of getting lost in the pages of good fiction too literally. So comfortable with our saviors. And I suppose next you shall tell me they did this for your own good?

[ Some friendly advice. For as lax as he seems at the moment, there is a double meaning to his leaning on that cane... ]

*He'd returned to the dorms to wash off some blood from a worker unit that had attacked him.

What he didn't expect to see was someone apparently made entirely of bloodied paper with a tell-tale pink collar coming down the halls as he emerged from the restroom.

For a moment, all he can do is stare in horror. This had been a person, hadn't it? Just when he thinks he's seen the worst Jason can do, every time...

Perhaps it's a small mercy he can't recognize it as Tohko on sight.*
semantating: (I see more than you think.)

Oh well this should be fun :V

[ She's going to try to attack him? Oh, this was amusing. He just tilts his had a bit at her, looking for all the world unbothered. ]

You realize most wouldn't happily serve their kidnappers, do you not? And I suppose your pay is nonexistent. What a terrible job being a puppet must be. ... I did warn you, little doll. And now look at you. Unaware of anything. Where is your friendship now, I wonder?
semantating: (Why;)

HAHA... THAT'S OKAY. He'll forgive her. No harm done. :u

[ Oh, dear. He's going to have his hands full dodging that cloud, but as Break is quite an agile man, he manages to miss the lightning strike.

Just barely.

He wasn't expecting that as much, but he knew she'd do something, and so Break simply stays on the move, speaking while he avoids the cloud. Eventually, he lands next to one of the mausoleums and raises his cane, ready to defend himself or strike at the girl if she decides to attack him head-on. He shall not be needing the Hatter for this, he thinks. ]

Helping someone does not generally involve stealing them away from the peace of death, Miss Amano. You have no free will. It is quite distasteful, speaking from one servant to another. The difference, you will find, is that I get paid for my duties, rather than force fed them.

semantating: (The stage is set.)

permission if this escalates to harm her??? Because he will try to kill her eventually oops

[personal profile] semantating 2013-04-16 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
[ He sighs as he turns to avoid the dagger and then jumps away to avoid the cloud still after him. ]

You are a most irritating puppet. I see they have ground that idealistic little heart of yours into making you a useful slave. Did you always have this ability, Miss Amano? Or was that their "gift" to you? ... Since you seem so eager, I will play with you for a little while as I wait for you to answer my questions.

We may as well make it fun.
semantating: (The skeletons in your head.)

Yes good. Time for a game ♥

[ Break keeps his hand on his cane but does not move. In fact, he grins like this is all just fine and they're not in this situation, that nothing has changed. He laughs. ]

Little Librarian, you did not listen to my words very well, did you? You are a slave. A servant is quite fine. I am one, after all. To be a slave one is forced into doing something you do not wish to do for someone else. You were modified against your will--those little pages were torn out and stapled all over you... so the torn little child is going to punish me for not being a slave?

[ And here, he raises his cane toward her... ready to unlock the sword hidden within at a second's notice, or to parry her dagger. ]

... I invite you to try. Do not do something you will regret.
semantating: The monster is out. (Unlocking that cage.)

[personal profile] semantating 2013-04-17 04:58 am (UTC)(link)
[ Though the punch connects, Break moves back in time to avoid any lasting damage, and he takes a second to regroup and catch his breath. As he does so, his cane manages to block the dagger and parry it away; he jumps backwards and puts some distance between the two of them. Click. The top of the cane comes off, revealing a sword inside. ]

You are putting me into a very bad mood, Miss Amano... if you do not quit, I am afraid I shall get extremely irritated with you...!

[ Truly, the look in his eye is far more DANGEROUS now. This really is your very last chance, or he will cut you in two, little drone. ]
semantating: (Fighting.)

[ He does not waver. He dodges the attempted assault with what almost seems like ease as he runs around and behind her; he was being purposefully kind to her before, but he will not be so forgiving now. This time, he is focused purely on offense, and his speed is actually rather surprising for someone who seems so 'helpless'. Whether or not Tohko can keep up is the question.

This girl would simply have to die. There was no remorse left in him to even care; why should he? He had intended on simply knocking her out, but this is not an option. She will try to kill him, and he simply cannot afford to die in any world. He does not trust a system where they must make new bodies for him, and he would prefer not to waste what he has. He takes his sword and rushes at her, bringing it up and down on her. All the years he spent as a knight in his past life coming back with natural ease, the sort of ease that is well-practiced, mastered, and never let slip from constant training.

If Tohko does not block or avoid his hit, she may lose an arm, or worse--she may be cut entirely in half. ]
