"Thanks." He smiled and took a roll himself, it had been a while since he had baked bread and there was the normal criticism that they were not as nice as his mums rolls, and he really wished he could have some of those to share with Xion.

It had been a couple of months but he still expected Reno's voice, teasing them, an affectionate hair ruffle. He grabbed the jug of iced tea to cover the awkward emptiness and poured Xion a glass.

"I was going to get some ice cream but with the power flickering it was mostly melted and I didn't think it would survive the trip up here."
