Summary: Suzaku is halucinating but also trying to find Link who he is worried about (set just after their network post). Link is having to be obedient to the tower and is worried about Suzaku's rebeliousness

Suzaku had been searching for Link for the last half an hour, even though his friend had not given him his location there were not that many places where you could acess the terminals. Suzaku was searching the library now, he was worried. Where the electric shocks getting worse? Was even hearing about being against the tower hurting Link now?

He stumbled as he was shoved, no one was there. They never were, a cry from afar made him turn just to turn back at a whisper in his other ear. He tried to ignore them he had to find Link.

Then there was a figure before him, coming closer. The halucinations were getting sharper, more real. "Go away!" He shouted, the voices continued, the figure continued moving towards him, he stumbled again.

Link knew Suzuka had gone looking for him when no one responded on the other line while he was sitting by that machine. He knew they were trapped in a tower and it wouldn't take him long to get here, there was really nowhere to hide. He had contemplated telling him everything but the shocks had sent him on his knees. The only thought the tower seemed to agree with was stop him at all costs.

I can't because he's my friend, Link tried to tell himself gritting his teeth at the wave of shocks that were traveling down his spine. I can't hurt someone I care about!

Thankfully, once he was able to hear Suzuka, Link had recovered from his pains. He was pressed against a wall rope in hand trying to move around Suzuka without being noticed. He needed to tie him down. Hopefully this would be enough.

The halucinations faded for the moment, they were almost constant but there were moments of clairty, fleeting before another voice started or another vision appeared. He felt a presence behind him. Another halucination?

He turned anyways, "Link?" What was Link doing? His thoughts were disapeared when another shadow came towards him, someone called to him from afar and he stumbled once more. Was Link even there? Or was he just another halucination.

"Link what are you doing?"

Link hadn't hesitated. Just like a predator to his pray, he had been watching him and at the last moment, ready to attack. He new better than to attack Suzuka from the front, he might have been under the influence of the tower but he wasn't an idiot. Suzuka was a hands-to-hand combatant, Link was more used to the sword: getting him from the back was the best method of action.

The hero had walked out of the darkness just as Suzuka caught a glimpse of him. Although his stance was very much offensive, the look in his eyes was screaming for help. His shoulders were shaking, he uttered the words "I'm sorry" before he leaped forward and pinned Suzuka to the ground, face down.

"I'm really sorry..." He couldn't help it. He was the wielder of the triforce of courage, he was aware this was wrong but he had to do something. If his will didn't give in, the pain from the shocks of knowing what a close friend was planning to do would. He wasn't afraid of death, he would rather throw himself off the edge of the tower than allow himself to injure anyone. He was afraid of being controlled. He was strong and gifted in combat, but he had a good heart. If he lost that heart, he didn't want to think what the damage might be. He hoped impeding his friend from moving would offer his collar some relief.

Suzaku barely fought back, he did not want to harm Link, at first he thought it was just another halucination but then he was on the floor and Link was apologising. "Link stop it!" He had seen the look in Link's eyes and wondered if this was like the electrical shocks, if Link was being made to do this.

Screaming started in his ears and visions flashed across his vision. He struggled trying to get away from Link, trying to get rid of the visions. He had to fight him off, but he didn't want to hurt him and so he didn't fight as much as he could.
