Wouldn't you think that in a place where all is not what it seems and that seems to change, or corrupt the denizens or creatures within, that maybe it is the Tower which is making them haunt you as such? Confidence and duty can turn into arrogance really quickly in a situation like this as well... You shouldn't be blaming yourself for something you had no chance of preventing."

He paused, narrowing his glowing eyes and mayhaps this next part was more annoying to let out that he'd like. "I can control space and time and dimensions... matter itself! I can create events that only occur in the farthest reaches of space by the most powerful events in the cosmos by simply willing it into existence... I can create the very opposite of matter, that which all beings are composed of, on a whim... And yet here I am. Stuck in this most WRETCHED of places, in the very predicament we all seem to be in." With a low annoyed growl Which honestly might sound more cute than menacing Veigar scoffed.
